Inside the store, this is a great Safeway. Deli, produce, meat, bakery, always have attractive selections, and the shelves are well stocked. But outside, it's a real hassle. People drive really oddly on the roads around the store, making it difficult to get into the parking lot. Often I'm stuck in the left lane, with people driving ~15 MPH in the right lane and no gap between them. Then in the parking lot, people walk around like it's Seattle, ignoring cars and walking slowly while drivers act like they're trying to run you over. The store is great but the other customers make me feel unwelcome and like I'd rather goto the Safeway in Kennewick instead. Thanks for keeping a nice store and letting me vent.

They have products that other stores do not. Only store in town with real mortadella (this is not cheese) and fresh crunchy French bread and a great selection curry sauces

The store was clean. The shelves were stocked well. Cashier was knowlegable and friendly. The only question is: why every winter is it that the disabled parking spots where they pile up the snow from the rest of the parking lot? Not very accessible.

A good place to shop for groceries and the rewards points program is worth getting. I saved over $120.00 by simply using my rewards phone number. If you want quality and convenience I suggest signing up for it.

Extremely rude bakery worker yesterday afternoon. She refused to help and answered questions with “nope” and a glare. We were shocked since we have been getting pastries and cakes here for years when they were Albertsons and have had wonderful service till now.

Wife: "Stop at Safeway and pick up some shrimp; they're on sale."Me: "The past 47 times you've sent me there for a sale item, they haven't had it."Wife: "But it's a really good deal."Me: "Remember when green grapes were supposedly 99 cents a pound? All they had were red grapes for $5.99 a pound."Wife: "Please just try."Result: I've now gone there 48 times and they've never had their sale item. This is a blessing in disguise since the Safeway app is so bad that at other Safeways (which occasionally have what they advertise), it takes me an average of 23 minutes to check out, vs. 15 seconds at Costco.

You had a great review from me on here and now I have to edit it. I was in yesterday 3/15/23 at about 3:30. The store was busy. Two cashier lanes open and backed up, which means the self checkout was also backed up. Then I stood alone at the Customer Service Counter for nearly fifteen minutes. Employees in the area ignored me. Maybe I don't look important enough. I was very mad, but decided not to cause a scene. This store was awesome when it was Albertsons. Safeway is ruining it!!!!!

Good selection, nice people, easy parking. They work hard at keeping check out lines reasonable. The highlight here is the spectacular floral department. It it well stocked with a wide variety of fresh and very beautiful arrangements. The prodce department is also beautiful and inviting

I’ve had a good experience in the past hence why I can’t give 1 star. The Floral Department here is hit and miss- last time I had a small bouquet made same day and it was great. Today, I went in for another bouquet, something that would be for the passing of a pet who’s being out down tomorrow. The floral department associate really just brushed me off, she seemed more interested in what she was doing than going further with me in my visit and asking specifically what I was looking for. She just told me to pick from already made arrangements and pick flowers bundles. Not going back, not after today.

I love this place!! I live @ Horn Rapids. No close store way out here. This store is accessible, totally organized and, even tho it means I'm in a hurry with my puppy in the car, everyone is so kind!! I was raised on small island but I feel right at home here! I will certainly continue coming here!!

The absolute worst Pharmacist and Pharmacist Assistant I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I am a Disabled American Veteran and this Pharmacy is designated as an “in network” pharmacy for Veterans to go to if they need an Rx for immediate use. This pharmacy does not support or appreciate Veterans. I have never been met with more short, curt, indigence from another service organization. I have read other ratings for this pharmacy that are similar to mine. Safeway responds with the blanket “thank you, we’ll take care of the issue. Why is Safeway/Albertsons not doing anything about it?I just got the same ole corporate canned response from Safeway. Same ole story, we’ll address the issue with management but there really won’t be any action because the behavior continues. I don’t want to chat it out because the chat session will be full of the same excuses we hear from corporate offices every day. The behavior is uncalled for and unacceptable.

Wow. They probably have everything here. Also their product arrangements are very attractive. They sell flowers in the front if you weren't aware (if you aren't going to Safeway, do you live under a rock????). The floral arrangemnts smell very nice and they are by the checkout so you can smell them for as long as possible. They have ideal Halloween products, and their store has a cozy feeling to it. It is a store that has what you're looking for, while not being enormous and overwhelming. Please give them business, I love this particular store. But maybe not too much, as it might disturb the balance and cause it to be less authentic.

I only go to Safeway for the donuts they have probably the best donuts ever. But today the donuts seem like they were pretty old and stale. I also was really overcharged for some candy so get set for for $5 I ended up paying like $250 for some mm little too pricey for me but they had a really great price on the orbit gum today I don't know how these stores are still in business other than the older folks like to shop here

Safeway in Richland off of Gage Blvd. Is a wonderful store. The employees are friendly and helpful and never make me feel like I am taking too long. If only the customers there were as kind! I like the size of the store and everything is laid out in a logical way. Their Deli is excellent and the produce is always extra fresh!

Always clean, controlled climate, and friendly. They just re-organized/relocated several aisles so no I am back to relearning the layout. Produce is good, meat is great and the butcher is always so helpful. Every Saturday we go, my little girl with her long curly hair insists on coming. She loves the pink car/ shopping cart. They are always conveniently located at the front by the soda machines.

People complain about the high prices, but it is convenient and has enough sales to make it a convenient location for our familyWent again today Feb 8, found everything we needed except low fat cottage cheese. Store clean, self sheck out worked well. Keep forgetting to bring our own bags from the car into the store. 😏

Be sure to check for special in the Just 4 U app before you go.There was a $.99 special on toothpaste, but it ended out costing me $1.30. I guess it was taxed on the original price, not the sale price. The manager was very helpful, but he did not reduce the cost. He did help me get another item that I was looking for. For this reason I give it 4 stars.

Great store, clean and organized my only issue is that prices are so much higher than mostly anywhere else.Their machines act up a lot but other than that a great store with loads of potential.

They've got some amazing cashiers! I'll give 5 stars if they give all the cashiers raises! Especially the single mom cashiers with great work ethics and big blue eyes.

I always appreciate a Safeway store. It is true that prices are higher relatively to other places but it is mostly more convenient to shop here. The Signature Cafe provides ready food. There is a Starbucks inside. Then there is the pharmacy. The ready to eat fresh fruit cups. I really like Safeway!

Store is clean and organized, prices are quite high. Staff is generally helpful and food is decent. However, I never feel comfortable or welcome when shopping here. Without fail I'm pestered by other shoppers with invasive, rude or strange comments and questions. If you don't fit the typical demographic of shoppers here, probably best to steer clear.

Really like shopping here ever since the remodel that switched it over to Safeway. Good prices and the staff there is friendly. The deli has boar's head meats now so even better.

The store doesn't honor the hrs on page. I walked over to purchase a bus pass that they sell at customer service, at 7:30pm, according to store website there is no listing for closing early customer service and store closes at 12am. the heat was over 95° at the time I went, that still above my max temp to be out in...I couldn't come in the morning bc i catch the bus, really early ...i went then and not earlier bc at I'm supposed to avoid extreme heat... 90+ so I went off their website and came when sun startedto go down...plus their website and also their info on the store Google both say, hrs of store are 5am to 12am, only pharmacy closed early on info shown... nothing on customer service closing earlier than store...Top and only mangersaid, "They closed and counted everything at 7pm so they can't do any sells" -top manger and only manger on site i was told she said... where is it on store online page info. Very not trustworthy... ethier website needs fixed and updated or manger messed up and needs a correction. ... u lost my purchase today bc of it it is 1 of the 2 , 1u lied on store page or 2 lied to customer in store, possibly covering a mistake.....I can trust Safeway on gway... not sure about the gage one...

Earlier this week I needed a large order from the deli. Unfortunately due to my job I got there late. The deli was obviously trying to shut down and clean up. The guy (no name tag) taking care of me was so obviously irritated with me and mumbled something to a co worker. I heard the coworker say "We have jobs because of customers." He told the first guy to go do something. Matt finished up my order and was the nicest, sweetest young man that has ever taken care of me. With a smile from ear to ear. Good job Albertsons on that hire. Matt you ended my long horrible day on a high note. Thank you for your kindness. I hope you get recognized for this.

This was a very nice Albertsons but is now a okay Safeway. The staff is friendly but the store used to be cleaner and better organized. I love the selection of fruit and vegetables, ready to cook, and deli foods.Update March 2021 - Now a Safeway.January 2022-The Safeway is okay but not as clean as it used to be and the produce isn’t as good as it used to be - especially the avocados.
