Fresh veggies, custom cuts of meat, and regular sales keep me a loyal customer. Butcher slices my London Broil for beef jerky or stir fry to order. Bakery has fresh everything, and deli is top notch. It's truly a one stop shopping for qood quality at reasonable prices. Customer service is exceptional at every level. Even the stockers will go out of their way to help with finding what you need.

09/07- The staff on duty was great. I was greeted by most and asked if I needed help. I was shopping to make a sub.I went to the deli and that's where I dropped my score from 5 🌟 to 3 🌟I was looking up dates on the meats when I noticed the mold. At that point I put everything back and went to get a JJ sub.

I love shopping at Safeway! This is my first time shopping in this location. The people at customer service is always so nice. Sometimes digital coupons don’t come off when you pay so I go to customer service and they always solve my problem without any problems or hassle. But this Safeway has the worst customer service! I did my weekly haul from the sales from the ad. Some coupons didn’t come off and a manager at customer service made it so complicated. I explained how my digital didn’t come off and the just kept making excuses why hey didn’t. I ended up just leaving. THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THIS LADY!

Most of the time this Safeway has everything you need. Better than the Safeway on Gage. The pharmacy is much better. Your perscriptions are usually ready when you get texted.

Be aware these good ratings are for the grocery quality- pharmacy is not good. Turned away from vaccine bc they just didn’t feel like taking walk-ins, despite website encouraging them. Came back w appointment and they refused to look up my insurance. Came back AGAIN w a new appointment and their system was down. Still no vax.

I didn't have an appointment for getting 2 vaccine shots, told them I took a cab there, I have COPD, and they took me in for the shots. I am thankful I didn't waste my money on a cab. They were very nice.

I don't recommend Safeway brand kleenex. Hopefully, the other brands are better.I bought a crab roll at the deli counter. The first time, I've tried this type of food, and it was delicious. I'm going to be giving it all a try. No cooking. It was great. The service was excellent, and he explained well the variety of choices. I'm glad I found and liked having a healthy dish.The oyster soup crackers, store brand, are the best. They're just the way I like them. Found in aisle where the crackers are. The children like them too.

These guys need to make sure they have the Chinese food ready. Went on 2 occasions and they were out of pretty much everything. This last time they told me to wait 20 minutes for the person to get back from break. Then I would have to wait another 15 minutes he told me. No thanks. I also called just to let their management know what was going on without being mad or anything. To let them know that they might need to step it up a little in that department. No one seemed too concerned. A simple, "OK we'll see whats going on." Safeway is not what it use to be.

Two security guards should be fired for being racist:This event took place on May 4, 2023. My partner and I parked in the lot and noticed two security guards chatting outside. As we entered the building they both quickly went inside when they saw us. My partner is black.It quickly became apparent that one of the guards was following us, because we kept seeing him in almost every aisle we were in. I (a white person) even noticed it was happening a lot. He also was only looking at my partner, and not me.When we checked out we saw the other guard standing closer to the exit. My partner confronted him about being followed, only to be laughed at and told that that wasn't true.The frequency of seeing the one guard, followed by the other guard laughing at my partner, tells me these two security guards were being deliberately racist and prejudiced. They should not have have a job if they are going to treat black customers in that way.

Safeway has a deli and a Starbucks without seating. I suggest that the owner rethink "self-service checkout" area and return three tables with chairs. There is ample room at the south end. This would really enhance Customer Service. Thank you. Zona Gale.

It's one of those places where you can generally find what you want, but the Safeway prices are still high after their supposed membership discounts. But they do usually have fresh sushi, and a whole bunch of ice cold caffeined beverages. The problem though, You can only find the things in some places, as they stalk them in multiple locations, and as I said before the cost is not all that pretty. But if you want a clean store, nice associates, this is the place.

I’ve been comí to this store for quite some time now. Customer service is always friendly and helpful. I like coming here because of the fresh produce and the variety that they offer. Shelves are pretty well stocked with everything you need. Starbucks and a beautiful floral department are in store for your convenience.

The night manager could not leave her POST!… “for the alcohol cabinet”. Could however spend 10 mins at reg.4 and assist a customer in the middle isles but for 32 mins could not open the cabinet and proceeded to tell us she probably won’t be able to get to it. Hopefully they can get this fixed and get a manager that wants to help everyone not just the people in her area, so we can continue to have good experiences

Ok the day & evening employees are much more friendly than their latest shift employees. It seems as though the guys who stock shelves late at night are always complaining & seem disgruntled. They often behave as tho customers are in their way & are very rude if u need something on an isle that they are trying to work. They don't move out of the way unless asked. And then act bothered & annoyed. I would choose another late night grocery store if there was another options within walking distance.

OK, so I have been using Walmart grocery pick up for the last few years. However - Safeway is closer to me and I have always erroneously believed Safeway would end up costing me more money.I was wrong! With the coupons in the app which are simple and easy to clip I couldn't believe the discounts!I usually buy the same things over and over again and I was shocked that with the discounts and coupons, I actually saved about $40 from what I usually end up spending.I don't end up with crushed eggs or leaking wet cat food. No blown open packages -no chicken strips thrown all over the bag either! (All experiences I have previously just sucked up part of the "Walmart" pickup experience.)The pickup experience at Safeway is so much easier and quicker too! Staff is friendly and I have always felt valued at Safeway -weird thing to say, but, I have officially broken up with Walmart pickup and will forever be a Safeway shopper pick up or otherwise.P.s. Starbucks inside Safeway is also amazing! Peeps who work there are the absolute best!

I live pretty close to Safeway, but I only go there when I have an emergency, oh I forgot to get whatever for tonight. I drive across town to do my weekly shopping. The bad news is even if I have just a couple things it takes me forever to get out. They don't have a lot of checkers available and the ones they have are typically slow. (It's one thing to be friendly, but to get in a long drawn out conversation with every single person you're ringing up really slows the process)The self checkout has broken on me 3 times in 3 different ways, and no, it wasn't my fault. When the staff attempted to investigate the problem of why the self checkout would not take my cash, wouldn't ring up at the appropriate price etc they were dumbfounded also. Last thing is the produce. While the quality is decent the prices on most of their produce is insanely high. I once paid a little over 8 bucks for 3 sweet potatoes. I once paid 3 bucks for one red bell pepper. Why did I pay that much? Because I forgot to buy it across town with the rest of my groceries and I needed it right away. If I could end on a positive note it would be to tell you that their wine selection is superior to most grocery stores I've been in and their bakery does a good job both in selection and quality.

I hesitated to post this because I don’t like to leave a negative review for no reason but realized what happened is good enough reason, for me at least. Yesterday I visited the Leslie and Gage location and when I entered I almost immediately noticed a gentleman, scruffy, wearing all black, and more interested in the customers than shopping. As a woman I am always super aware of my surroundings because of past trauma and others stories. That being said I was now keeping an eye on him. As I tried to find marshmallows, I tried everywhere I swear, and walking back and forth a few times and watching him do the same with no cart and again watching people not shopping. I feel nervous. Unsafe. And agitated I had to feel like that while picking up dinner at the grocery store. People are literally getting shot just going for groceries now so everyone should be more hyper vigilant and aware, honestly. Watching him and watching him walk right behind me and the stop a few feet away to look at the beef sticks while I was in line. I immediately thought maybe he saw me get out of my van and my teen daughter was waiting in it. I felt panicked and finally just asked the checker if they had security because this man is making me uncomfortable and acting suspicious and pointed at the gentleman I’d been watching. He chuckled and mentioned that that is security. I couldn’t believe it. I understand blending in to not draw the shoplifter to you but I also understand reading the room, reading peoples body language and facial expressions and the demographics of the store I’m shopping at. His dress and mannerisms in this area make him stand out not blend in. And unfortunately I’m sure not many women have said anything so I will. The checker thought it was funny and when I tried to explain the reason a woman would feel unsafe he made it a joke. Not impressed. I hope he doesn’t have daughters. The likelihood of me returning to this location, that I’ve been going to for 20 something years since it’s Albertsons days, is slim. Other than their drive thru pharmacy, which is always fantastic! I don’t want to feel uncomfortable while I shop and that’s exactly how I felt.Just my two cents though.

Great selection and customer service although Safeway like most corporate stores need more human cashiers and baggers. I like many people are willing to pay a little more for human help with scanning and bagging our purchases.
