My son had two goldfish. One unfortunately died, as often they do. I went in to spend $0.29 to get a replacement goldfish for him and they demanded to know the size of my son's tank. They offered their supervisor. The supervisor said we are required to provide information as to the tank and refused to sell the goldfish to me because I was not willing to discuss the Dynamics of our home tank ....... OVER A $0.29 GOLDFISH. Furthermore, when I got frustrated and just threw out the fact that I had a 25 gallon tank I was told they still could not sell me a goldfish because they would get too large. Mind you, the goldfish I wanted is in the exact same tank as the fish they put in a bag so your animal can eat them. I did not want a feeder fish. I wanted one of them for my son. Absolutely unreasonable!! ..... UPDATE: I went to another store in my area, PetSmart. Their staff was professional and kind, educational and very much on board with helping me purchase a goldfish for my son. Thank you, PetSmart.

Staff was very helpful and kind, even though we were pushing it by coming in half an hour before closing. Thankfully, we knew what we needed and were in and out pretty fast, thanks to their great layout.

I shop for my catPricier than I'd like for cat toysCat food decent pricing.I don't get cat food that contains chicken by product.A little disappointed with the cat section, the treats selection was away from wet food and dry food, but I also found it hard to find because it was pretty low- I know they usually keep their shelves stocked and the store looked like it was waiting for a supply. Wet food was by the toys/catnip and smaller scratching posts, posts. Litter boxes and litter in-between.Dog accessories had a big section, looked like a variety of tough chew bones, leashes, harnesses, beds, vitamins. It looked like the dog area is easy to find what you need.Cat area doable, finding what you need.Fish are there, what you'd need to set up are there, did not look into.Rodents are there, cages might be? (Probably), did not look into.They have cats and I think dogs you can adopt as wellAt the checkout there are dog treat cookies, I felt left out shopping for my cat.They had everything I needed just not as much care in layout organization for my kitty companion compared to the other sections of the store.Will return.Helpful and nice staff.

Our writer, Hector, was absolutely perfect! He was the most friendliest waiter I've experienced in a very long time!! He made our whole visit amazing!! I will shout it out to the world!! This man is a very good man!! We love him and will be back soon to see him 💕

I went there with a specific purpose to buy fish. I went over to the aquarium area. Nobody was there. I waited a few minutes. Looked around for somebody to help me. nobody was interested in helping me. So I went to the front register and asked to have somebody come to aquatics to help me. nobody ever showed up. I waited another 15 minutes. went back to the front again and asked if anybody was available, and I was told rudely by somebody standing near the cashier. That somebody was on their way and I ended up leaving without getting any fish.

I'm absolutely thrilled to share a glowing review for Leean and her exceptional dedication and care for the furry friends, mine included, at Petco on Queensgate in Richland!Leean has been Aubrey's groomer for quite some time now, and I can't sing her praises enough. She treats Aubrey like a VID (Very Important Doggo) always ensuring her comfort and happiness. Aubrey absolutely adores her! It's the cutest thing – just mentioning Leean's name sends Aubrey into a tail-wagging frenzy, eagerly awaiting our visits to Petco! With Leean, grooming our anxious pup is a breeze, and Aubrey always looks fabulous afterward.Leean isn't just Aubrey's groomer; she's become a friend. We make it a point to visit her every week for Aubrey's nail trims, not just because Aubrey loves seeing her, but because I do too. Leean has a way of making everyone (pets & their owners) feel welcome and cared for – she greets each pet by name and showers them with warmth and affection. We have complete trust in her abilities, knowing our furry friends are in the best hands possible!Honestly, if it weren't for Leean, we'd probably only visit every few weeks, but her incredible service keeps us coming back weekly without fail. Had a great experience at this petco. Went in to get goldfish, the staffs were so good, they not only told me it was not a good idea to get goldfish for small tank. They helped me through what I would need, and I ended up with a betta, which I love! I forgot the name, but would like to thank the guy who helped me!

EVERY time I go into your Richland location on Queensgate the service is AWFUL. Multiple employees always walk by you and NEVER ask if you need any help. I went in to buy fish and stood by the tanks for almost a whole hour with multiple employees walking by and not one asking if help was needed.

I went into the store to buy a snail for my fish tank and they refused to sell me one. This was after I did everything they suggested to get ready for it. They wanted me to purchase a bigger tank first. Incredibly frustrating!!!

The employees were super helpful! Especially the "dog guy" and the gentleman that is normally working the register. I didn't get either of their names, but they both are always extremely helpful and make sure to answer every question we have. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the out of stock on most of the items we seemed to need, that was frustrating but the employees did their best to find alternatives or help us order from the website.

Went to petco to get something to help my little dogs' itching problem . Poor thing is so itchy. Shes a 4.5 lb mutt. I read that probiotics is a place to starr so i went to get that and this employee who has helped me before (in fish) helped me . He was knowledgable in both fish and what product to try for my dog. I didnt catch his name but hes a big help to thatt petco.

I enjoy going to Petco very friendly and easy access to everything that I need. I always go and get a feeder mouse for my snake. And all I do is go to the cashier and ask them what I need and they get it. Very easy access.

I love Petco, super nice and friendly. The grooming people really do care about your pets. Le Ann is the person I use for grooming. Bella, my dog, who is a 135 Bullmastiff, looks forward to going in there every 4 wks & LeAnn gives her a mud bath and brushes her teeth every time. My Vet thinks they are do a very special job.I recommend this place to everyone.

Amazing staff. Had bought 2 tarantulas from this store maybe a month ago and it was one of the best petco experiences I’ve ever had. Enclosures were well kept, tarantulas had clean water and enough food and they had a variety of new world tarantulas. Staff were super friendly and helpful. If you live out in Moses Lake, the drive is worth it to this store rather then the one we have in town.

Tucker and I were in the car for a couple hours today and even though I wasn't shopping, we stopped so he could get a treat or two from the friendly staff and sniff around his favorite store and get lots of attention from folks. He gets so excited in the parking lot cuz he knows where we are.

Pet Petco has a great selection of supplies and food for every type of pet from cats and dogs to fish and reptiles. The staff is so friendly and helpful they make me feel welcome there.There is also a groomer there to make your dog look their very best.

Don't order food online. They say GAURANTEED delivery TODAY... But when the food doesn't come and you have to buy food from a different store all they say is sorry it will get delivered by tonight.Bring to there attention why would they GAURANTEE something they can't actually GAURANTEE and they offer a $5 discount 🤔The people in the actual store are very helpfull if you need something drive into the store and buy it or just order from Chewy as they will actually deliver!!
