They told me they pay 50cents per pound for clean brass but anything over 30.00 they send a check. Went to schnitzlers recycling and they paid 2.08 per pound and wrote me a check for 430.00 .Kepplers is now run by an Hispanic couple from mexico who are now routinely stealing and taking advantage of elderly people who are coming in and being fleeced of there collectibles then are not even sent a check after 30.00 worth of recyclables. Thieves Thieves Thieves !!!!!! Call schnitzlers .

This place is awesome, they've always got everything we need for our chickens and bird feeders. Friendly local family business, I highly recommend them. I was lucky enough to pick up two mature hens and a bonus rooster my neighbors will enjoy.

Kind staff but I can’t really recommend the hay, it’s pretty yellow and mostly stems and brown leaf. I tried it for my guinea pigs to avoid pet store prices and get a fresher product but ended up having to get more hay from the pet store anyway.

This place is a complete rip off! Juan try to get me to put all of my copper on the scale at one time even though I had two different sizes and the prices were different. When I said something about it, he acted as he made a mistake…then when it became time to pay me, he was adamant about my address, being right on my license, according to him “I could have taken it from a business”. This struck me as odd because when I originally approached him, I stated to him that I had just had my AC unit replaced and I was turning in the copper from that install, not to mention I’ve never had to do this with any other recycling center in this state ever… the most I’ve ever done is taking down my address on my license, not go to my truck and take down my license plate number… I would not recommend this place. They are a complete rip off and if you don’t know what you are our recycling or the prices, then they will rip you off.

I buy my propane here about twice a month and they're always there to fill my bottles. Courteous and helpful staff. Live chicks for sale right now fun to let the kids come and take a look

A copper wire rip-off station. Payed $.60 for high grade! Scales don't seem right. Called #12 and 14 low grade and offered $.20. Don't go here to scrap wire. I loaded it back up and went elsewhere.

They've always been great to me. Great propane prices, metal recycling on site, and feed materials in stock. They're my go-to.

If you're just looking to drop off Metals for recycling it's fine. If you expect to get paid a fair price go elsewhere. I recycled 50 lb of brass they offered me $0.10 a pound. Less than 1/10 the going rate at other local recyclers.

Thanks for charging me $4.00 a gallon for propane, last I filled at blackbearoutpost was $2.80 friday harbor $2.99 and if could explain how you get 28 gallon in 100 pound tank tank only holds 24 gal?

Pretty friendly they let me dump a trailer full of tin metal. They didn't give me no money for the scrap but that's more than cool. I just needed to get rid of all that scrap.

I've recycled here only when the other place wasn't open, they absolutely take advantage of people that recycle, she paid me 50% less than the regular guy would have, and even then their price was already 80% less than NW Recycling which is an awesome place, never recycle at keppler, she told me it was cheaper today Cuz prices went down, I checked online and not only did they not go down but they actually went up by 8%, absolutely ridiculous, for doing so much business with them in the past they simply do not care, i had no choice and had to otherwise i would have waited til the next day to go to NW where i would have received $63.30, but here I got a total of $15 !! EVER!! RECYCLE HERE!!

This place is and has always been an efficient and most pleasant place to do business. The employees are always expedient and polite. I believe the best thing is if they don't know the answer to a question they take the initiative to find out the correct answer!

Waste of time! Do not come here to get RIPPED OFF! I came here with over 100 pounds of steel and some cast aluminum/iron and they charged me 10 dollars to leave my metal there. Go elsewhere to drop off your scrap metal!

not good place for recycling, you get pay like a half price or less than the other recycling center, and the scale doesn't work good, so always the weight is less, but is close one in renton,

Deceivers - if they pay, then 3 times less. And sometimes they ask you for money for disposal. They do not even have a digital scoreboard from the scales - they put the weight they want !!!
