We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Belknap for our dog'sTPLO surgery! We did our research and made a long drive to see Dr. Belknap- we are so glad we did! Not only was the surgery performed expertly but the care and follow up have been awesome! He regularly checks in on our pup to make sure he's recovering well and he's been available for questions and concerns as well. We'll likely need another surgery for this dog (darn genetics) and we'll make the drive to Willapa Vet again. Every employee, doctor, tech we encountered was awesome, thorough and friendly! You're in good hands!

Hands down, the best out there. Kathleen and Eric put their true heart and souls into their work.Their bedside manner is comforting, they give you all the options, talk you through, and are there for you on a personal level.I've had all my pets in here- A 1 eyed chihuahua who needed a dental and almost all her teeth removed, to a 14 year old shepherd with soft tissue sarcoma that they assisted me on hospice and wound care. Emergency visits for our hunting/working AKC labs (stabbed by an arrow, and another poisoning from wild mushrooms).The techs here are caring, and empathetic, with a wealth of knowledge from all sorts of backgrounds (4h, vet school, rescuing/fostering) and are eager to help.Front desk is so kind, the ladies always know what to say. They handle their positions with their head held high, dealing with tons of calls and customers.The team together creates an amazing environment, that every time I come in, I can guarantee I'm learning something new or at least having a laugh.Thank you Willapa Veterinary Service, Dr. Kathleen Sutton and Dr. Eric Sutton for always being there for us.-♡The Graddons

Probably the best vet I've been too. I didn't have a carrier to bring my cat in but the staff was very nice about me bringing her in on my arms. Once they offered to let me wait in my car with her and they called me when they were ready to treat her. I got my cat spayed here and it was the first time is been given a cone after to keep her from licking her stitches. They took the time to go through all of the after care with me and even called the next day to check in on her. Also I've been able to get appointments 10x sooner than other vets I've been to. Highly recommend!

Once again the highest of excellence and expertise. Everyone from the office staff to the Surgeon were top-notch. The office was so patient with me as I had so many questions and concerns. And they made sure I was comfortable with all the instructions.When our dog Archie developed a growth under his eye there was no one I trusted more than Dr Belknap as he provided excellent precision care 2 yrs prior for a much more complicated surgery. I was scared and he put me at ease. This time was no exception. Dr Belknap listens, he is fair, honest and those who put their furry family member in his hands can rest assured he will do the utmost to remedy the condition. Archie healed up and his eye is perfect. No infection or any issues post op. It is traumatic to see your pet ill in any way so having a Doctor or surgeon you can trust makes all the difference. Thank you Dr Belknap and your team. You all deserve more than 10stars! Really stars aren't enough.

I chose their team for our dog’s first TPLO surgery last year. I did a lot of research to find a good, experienced surgeon and so glad we found Willapa Vet! Even being an over an hour away in Olympia, it was a no brainer to drive out to Raymond again when she tore her other CCL this year. Dr. Belknap and his team are simply incredible to work with. Doc is super easy to talk to, explains details in clear, easy to understand terms, and his depth of veterinary knowledge is apparent immediately when consulting with him. Our dog’s second surgery and recovery seemed to go even smoother than the first! She was up and walking within the first few days and healed quickly with the great aftercare instructions and follow ups their team provided. Our local vet even noted how impressive the stitching job looked. I can’t express how much I appreciated Dr. Belknap’s attention to detail and personalized care he provided. He really got to know our dog well. He made himself available to questions and calls throughout the recovery process (even when he was out on vacation!) His team made working with them and updating them on Jojo’s healing progress super easy with us living an hour from the clinic. We were able to do video calls and virtual follow ups, even calling in a prescription refill to our local pharmacy for us. Just stellar customer care and veterinary work all around. Thanks again to Dr. Belknap and his team for helping Jojo get back to running and playing like her usual self!

These are the best people we've ever worked with. Kathleen & Eric are great doctors and they love Zoey as much as we do. We live an hour away now since we moved but it's worth the drive for the excellent care our dog gets here!

Absolutely the best veterinary experience I've had in years! Dr. Eric and his staff were attentive and very kind. The Doctor took time to explain the options and his diagnostic perspective, along with taking tome to listen to my observations. He was extremely gentle with my pibble/mastiff rescue and respected his quirks. He even trusted me to handle my dog to provide the services that could be a bit risky. The entire staff were just excellent and so fun to chat with. The options we chose were affordable and left room in the budget to prepare for the "worst case scenario" if it should come.We are so excited to work with this team for all of our pets' future healthcare needs.DON'T FORGET! They also have overnight kennel services, that are fairly priced!My boy Lancelot Valor and his sister Savannah aka Squishy are so happy we found the team at Willapa Veterinary Service! One of the many incredible businesses we enjoy in our beautiful forever town. ❤️

Our pets have gone there many times. Always great care. Would give 6 stars****** if I could. Their manager is the best ever! They try so hard to get you in, even though they are very busy (which tells you a lot right there). They are able to get you in better than any other vet clinic around. 1 year now since my lilmam had too be taken from me due too "Dr eric" FAILURE of diagnosis of a illness after blood work &many visits Dr Eric simply said he didn't know what was wrong w/her, & refused too do any thing more too find out,& he wouldn't do a simple xray of her mouth to see if maybe it was her teeth that may have been the the cause of her illness, soo I had willapa vet fwrd the blood test results too another veteran and 20min later they called me to tell me that she had a bloodinfection that could of Ben prevented& the likely caused by a bad tooth!! ..but it was too late for treatmant...Dr Olson NEVER ever would of give a I DON'T KNOW for a illness...Simply Dr eric shouldn't be a Dr ,can't read the results of a bloodtest&listen too his clients &suggestions...Lilmam was my catchild that can never be forgotten I miss her daily&cry for her too come home.

This lady that runs the phone at this veterinarian's office. Must have so much money. She must not care about any more money in her life, and she doesn't care if her business gets any more money. She'll tell you all the way she can't serve you. Or help, yeah, so getting to the service, which is good. They do the job that they're supposed to do.

This may be the first review I have ever written for anything. I am so grateful for the above and beyond care my dog (and my husband and I) received at this clinic. I showed up with a very sick dog and no appointment, Dr Kathleen came out into the rain to examine him in the car- she hopped right in! When lab results showed that it was safe for my dog to be in the clinic, she took us in, ran more tests, and talked to us about the reason for each test, what she was suspicious of, etc. We ended up taking the dog to the hospital in Olympia where they have more diagnostic equipment and 24 hour care. Because we are waiting on lab results, Dr Eric called today to go over results and talk about other possible causes. The techs and the people at the front desk were kind and professional and helpful. We are new to the area and hadn't established care with a new vet yet, we are really looking forward to seeing these folks again for less stressful reasons.

My entire experience with Willapa Veterinary has been outstanding! The whole staff and doctors take their time to answer any questions and there is a genuine feeling of kind concern for both pet and owners. They always make you feel special and you leave with a sense of comfort that your babies are getting the best care available! In my opinion they may be the finest Veterinary Clinic on the Pacific Coast of Washington. My FUR family now has a team of professionals behind them. I always seem to miss appointments due to my health. They are always so understanding even though I am a utter pain.They always taken care of me and always understanding to not just my pet's fears and needs but as well to mine.As I sat there watching people come and go, they were all happy. I am so glad they understand a very shy person like me who always fearful of being rude. They make me feel comfortable and safe myself.So if you are new in town this is great place, they work well with banfield who can do eye pressure test and other test they do not have and are great at helping get records if I say I need help.Everyone is very helpful. Please speak up if you need help, don't wait to get your animal care. They could help you find programs or cheaper way. They helped me figure out best way to get what I needed done for them for the cheapest. They are willing to admit when they do not have the ability to do something. They are very honest, I wouldn't mind ever helping out to just help out if I could. The location is wonderful and close to home. Everyone is just again understanding and not mean to me when I forget appointments or my mother cancels last minute. They always try to fit me in when I mess up but I try not to. I swear they are too kind I get worried they will stop seeing us but they always tell me it's ok, we will work on it. No matter if it's my dogs nails or my bad timing.

They got my cat in right away. Her neck was completely broken out with sores. The Dr. quickly fell in love my sick cat and treated her. Sent home flea treatments for both of my cats. Now 2days later I've never seen them this relaxed and playful. Thank you.
