The town of Raymond is quaint. The bar is rustic looking and very cool. Outside patio area in the front and lots of space inside. Parking was easy and very close to some shops down town and the Carriage, Sea Port Museums. Check in was easy and quick. The selection of drinks and food is great.Walkability: In town and very walkable to parks and businesses.

This is a lively pub where you will rub elbows with the locals. It reflects some of its tavern history but is tastefully updated and warm. It boasts a full bar, and an array of local brews on tap as well as all the regular bottle/canned beers/ciders you would expect plus some. The food is good. The PW gets pretty busy in the evenings so be patient as the service is good but the bartenders are also the servers, they can get really slammed bouncing between tables and manning a usual full bar at dinner rush. You will also find a wonderful outdoor seating area with its own outdoor bar in the summer. It is open to family dining until 9pm. It has specials, music, and events each day of the week. On the weekend it’s generally the only thing to do in this small town so Friday and Saturday nights are happening especially with the 20’s-30’s crowd. The rooms are behind the bar so I wouldn’t say to expect 100% peace and quiet. But the bar doesn’t stay open until 2am either.

My family and I stayed at Pitchwood Inn a couple of weeks ago and had an enjoyable stay. We were traveling from the Oregon coast up to Olympic Nat'l Park and this spot fit our travel time perfectly. We arrived around 7 pm and checked in at the bar with Spencer. We had 2 rooms - #1 and #5. # 5 is the room with the mail slot in the door. I had read previous reviews that had security concerns about the slot but we did not feel it was an issue. The slot is pretty small and I'm sure if it was an issue the owners would seal it. Our rooms had a fun & unique decor. Best way I can describe it is antique meets logging camp. :) Nothing fancy, but the rooms where clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed on a Thursday night so the bar and inn were quiet. We did eat at the Alehouse. Food overall was good, and Spencer was a great bartender and waiter.Friday morning as we were leaving, we ran into one of the owners. She was so friendly and helpful when we asked for a good place for breakfast. She told us the story of how her, her husband and son bought and remodeled the Inn. Nice to see an owner out there helping to clean rooms and be on site. Overall it was a nice, clean place to stay.

Great rustic atmosphere, large selection of local and craft beer, we had the nachos with jalapeños and a local blood orange ale.Walkability: Easy walk from anywhere in town.

This is a one of a kind winner! Great food, great staff, great music and fantastic rooms! The workmanship is very well done on the place. They used a lot of repurposed materials and it turned out great. Do not miss it!Rooms: Each room has its own theme and the amenities are great.Nearby activities: It is an easy walk from the alehouse to anywhere in the town. Check out the carriage museum. Pretty cool.Safety: Very safe areaWalkability: All level ground and plenty to see in town.Food & drinks: The oysters were great, so were the drinks. Try the Manhattan!

Stay here once a month and love this place.Great bar and food steps from your room. Each room is different and other than the bathroom in room 9 everything is good.Rooms, food, drinks, staff and the vibe are great.Only 2 complaints. 1) never enough bartenders when they are busy. 2) No air conditioning in the rooms. This trip was a hot weekend and the room was blazing hot

This is a review of the restaurant only - we stopped in for a late lunch on the way from Astoria to Copalis Beach. As we were doing things on the fly, and many options were closed at around 3 PM, we opted for the Alehouse. We need not have been concerned that it was one of the few non-fast food options open as we had a very nice, non-fussy meal here. The pulled pork and turkey sandwiches were just right for a simple lunch - they have sweet potato fries if you like them (my girlfriend does) - and the regular fries are pretty good too. Price was fine and service was super friendly and accommodating of simple menu changes (no bacon on the turkey sandwich - slaw on the side for the pulled pork - stuff like that).

At first glance everything was fine. The heater was off in the room and it was freezing so we had to turn it on and wait an hour. The food was pretty good, but the waitress only refilled our drinks once in the 3 hours we were there. We were told the bar was shutting down early that night. They had some kind of DJ until 1am that blasted music loud enough that I could hear it through my earplugs. People pay hotels to have a place to sleep for a night. This was unacceptable. Also, the towels were stained, you have to unplug the microwave to plug in the coffee maker, and the blinds wouldn't close all the way. And they have no batteries in the smoke detector, which is a huge safety violation. The restaurant was good. The hotel was terrible.

We stopped for lunch at Pitchwood Alehouse on route to Long Beach, WA. It was moderately busy but found a table with prompt service. The decor is dive bar/hunting lodge and my son loved the moose head. The menu is classic American bar food and really excellent. The French fries were the standout but the sandwiches were great as well. The beer selection is nicely localized and varied and I would highly recommend a stop!

Busy place, the new outdoor seating area, still under construction, will be great once completed. Service is good, sometimes excellent depending on the day and how busy they are. I always go for the pulled pork sandwich and it never disappoints. The only issue I had with my last visit is that we weren't offered a choice other than fries. I usually get their onion rings, but I was exhausted and didn't think to ask. The service seemed more distracted than usual, but it was pretty busy-which is a good thing considering I had a terrible experience with their competition around the corner.

Looking for food late at night, we wound up in this place. Had a blast as it was karaoke night. The food took a long time to get there, but when it did, it was good..

Terrible! We had reservations made and confirmed. Arrived at supper time and were told they had no rooms. Only excuse we were given was that they had changed their plans. Very rude, abrupt and they offered no alternatives. Since we had prepaid they gave us no help with refunding our money- not their problem.Avoid at all costs

Overall a really nice place. Great food, good service, and a nice room. It doesn't have air conditioning but they do provide fans and the windows open.Food & drinks: The inn is right behind the ale house so food is very convenient to access. The food was also very good.
