I just wanted to give a HUGE shoutout to the Quincy Animal Shelter, unfortunately I had to rehome my 2 year old boy named Rascal and they made sure everything went stress free/smoothly. He was on a waiting list for only a month(as he was already neutered the process went quicker) and they got him in, and adopted in 2 days of him being at the shelter!! They are the absolute best solution if you can't find anyone that is interested in rehoming your family member. I tried countless of times to find the best home for Rascal, and they made sure he found the most suitable couple!! Thank you again Hannah, and the team at the shelter, for helping me with everything and making sure my boy got a great home😊

I love this place there was a stray dog that wandered off to the hospital and a nurse who was walking the dog followed to my dad's house in Quincy we contacted the Quincy Police department and they proceeded to tell us to go to the animal shelter in Quincy which we contacted. And they were fantastic very kind very helpful and had many ideas on other pets and things that could help. The family that owned the dog showed up as we were leaving and I hope we're fined, this was not the first time the dog was found wandering, and it was very thin and also had very bad ears. So along with a fine for their animal roaming again, they were also given reprimanding for the condition of the puppy. When I say puppy, it was a very large breed part lab and we're not sure what else but very big pause and very big ears. They were wonderful and if and when I come back to Quincy and they're still there I will be more than happy to donate my time to help with the animals and anything else that I can is something I enjoy doing. I adopted little 2 month old Ali Now named Misty.. She is my baby girl.. Love at first site and she loves her mama very much.. The staff was a pleasure to work with.. Thank you for my precious little girl..

Jessica at Quincy Animal Shelter was SO kind and supportive when we needed to chat with her. You can really tell how much this shelter cares for animals and puts their needs first. So grateful to live in a town that has such a wonderful support for the pet population ❤️

tried adopting for the first time. The manager made me an appointment to see the dog i wanted. When i got there, she did not want to show me the dog & wasted the quincy police department time as i was being as polite as possible. I was just showing up to an appointment she made me ! The young man helped us much better than the manager. The manager eyes just got watery of how furious she was. But she was in the wrong & she does not need to be Manager of a business she has no love for ! Police Chief manages shelter & he is not the best.

I could tell Jessica actually cares about these animals and I’m so excited to get my new dog from here in a week plus adoption fee is very affordable for having them fixed and vaxed. ❤️

We only went here the once to get my wife her first 2 dogs and they are very well behaved. (Ages 2girl and 6boy) they had never met until we asked to see them interact in the shelter.(There was only 1 other dog in the whole shelter so if you see one online try and call or get in asap)But is very hard to get ahold of someone over the phone, and you CAN'T pay with cash.Very friendly staff and there is no adoption waiting period for dogs or cats. We were in and out in one day. You can even pick out a free collar or outfit WITH your adoption fee at the door.We plan to return for a cat.

Visited the Quincy Animal Shelter with a friend who went to meet a dog that was up for adoption. Sadly he ended up not adopting her because they didn't really click but I was very impressed with the shelter. It's small but the facility is quite nice and the staff were wonderful, even staying a few minutes late to give him more time with the dog.

I love this place, the animals are well cared for, the staff is very welcoming and they are one of the few shelters that charges so little for all the services they provide. I don't think anyone can understand what it's like to care for a place like this unless they have been here and helped out all around. Over all I definitely recommend this shelter to adopt and save a beautiful animal💛 (they are a cat and dog shelter only)dog adoptions cost 100$ and cats adoptions cost 60$ unless spayed. This shelter is run by the city of quincy and for the city of quincy.

Friendly and informative staff. Since we are from East Wenatchee we were able to put a travel hold on a dog, which worked very well for us. It is great the shelter works with WSU Vet school to spay and neuter the dogs. Plus the adoption fee is very reasonable for people with fixed incomes.

Our Boy Scout volunteers here. The 2 younger boys go read to and play with dogs as well. The staff genuinely cares about the animals. Like all pet shelters they have a "needs" list and they gladly accept pet food donations.

Very nice place clean with nice peopleVery chip to adapt an animal there.And also for the same price they send the animal to be fix and get that vaccination.Highly recommended for animal adoption.

Unfortunately we found a sick dog that was lost but the people working there refused to help us rescue the missing sick dog so unprofessional and that’s sad knowing the dog could of possibly died so we kept it and cared for it and now it’s very healthy.! Pls so be so cruel
