Our go-to on our way to Crescent Bar. Generally, it does not disappoint. The fresh made donuts are great and their pre-made meat department grab and go items are easy and good.

The breakfast burritos were a decent deal at $3 and not too bad, but the donuts were the best I've had in a long time. Legitimate cream cheese fillings instead of the gross foamy cream other bakeries use, and the yeast donut part had a good texture and good flavor without being overly sweet.

A nice place I've been going to since I was a child. Atkins has really evolved from where it was when I was younger, from a little bit of a dinky small-town store to a more classy setting. They have all sorts of fruits and vegetables, stuff that I don't really see other places, and they all look fresh. They have pizza in the deli between $5 to $11, at the time of this review, all 14 inches with different topping. They have chicken and various sides as well. As well as tons of different cheeses and butters. Fried Chicken is magnificent. When it is fresh, it has this tasty buttery crunchy skin. Super Juicy and Delicious. They even have a small sitting area, right next to the bakery with all of the cakes and donuts and cookies.

Very courteous & kind staff. Everything is very easy to find and nicely out on the shelves. Great alcohol selection. Breadmaker for fresh bread at your fingertips. Deli & bakery is 5-Star!

I'm not from the area and only passed to buy something really quick on my way home, two hours away. When I dropped by, in the early evening, the store was nearly empty, which makes sense for a Friday evening. Even though I went in for only a few minutes, the store looked well-stocked, and the interaction I had with the staff member who helped me find what I needed was professional and she was able to help me find what I was looking for. This looks like it is a good place to buy food, and seems like one of those stores where you can go find something you might be missing in between trips to stock up on food.

From the fresh bread machine that bakes loaves, rotisserie chickens freshly made, and Mexican pastries it's an amazing little grocery store to find out on the Eastern side. Staff has been friendly and helpful in our trips.

The store is nice for a local market, but it lacks a wide variety of products that you would see in a larger store. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would be back again when I’m passing through.

This place had great prices, great food, and if I lived closer to Quincy, it would be the only grocery store I ever shopped at. It was awesome. I bought a 9.8lb head of cabbage, a family size fresh flan, the best Chile Relleňo I've ever had in my life (from their hot case), and the had fresh sugar canes. I will be back every chance I get.

I've been going to akins for many many years of course I was born and raised in Quincy and so used to go to Harold's thriftway for many years then things changed different names different owners and the grocery stores in Quincy both are great

Over $20 for a melon?! Used to come here everyday for groceries to make dinner. Looks like I’m switching to weekly shopping and visiting my nearest big chain grocery store every weekend. I’ll save money even making the trip and paying the gas.

So this store is nice, and that's great, but the REAL treasure of this place is their donuts. These donuts are life changing. A spiritual experience waiting for your tastebuds. I'd add a picture, but I already inhaled 12 of them. If you're within 50 miles of Quincy, head here for donuts. They'll change your life, you can thank me later.

Who shops here! $3 for a gallon of water and $14 for salad dressing! Wow.And usually at a store this expensive you can at least find quality products such as organic beef. But nope, none.To top it all off there are no staffed checkouts. Self checkout only. Pay top dollar then do all the work yourself!

Nothing but expired food on the shelves. Wasting my time and money having to keep returning, expired food. Same day bought or having to dig through expired food, to find non-expired food. Do better please

I absolutely LOVE their donuts, their not standard by any means, and I just love that! Especially in our lil tiny town! Nice treat, and I look forward to them several times a week, eeeek! Sorry not sorry!

Only complaint is I was putting change into the self check-out machine and it undercounted the amount of change I put in. But other then that really clean and neat. Very nice and clerks.

Great little grocery store. Perfect spot for the city and very friendly and helpful staff. They even had their spirits in a separate enclosure. Definitely came in handy when I needed some steaks for dinner. However, there was some questionable looking juice on the juice shelf (non-refrigerated).

The staff is friendly and efficient. The shelves were well stocked. The place is clean even when buses of customers are there.The exterior is kept tidy as well. There are plenty of parking places, including handicap parking.

Friendly, lots of the usual products & some extras too. Great bakery. Deli has different offerings on different days of the week plus regular favorites, so never mundane. They also carry their own line if spices, soup bases etc. The best part is the prices are unexpectedly low for a small home town grocery.
