I absolutely love Petco Pet's Hotel in Puyallup when I tell you they are the best, and they have treated both of my babies very well and the grooming as well. I love this place they are so sweet to my Diamond, and they were sweet to my Cinnamon, so thank you, staff, for everything. We are The Happy Camper's?

We board our pups here roughly twice a quarter. This is by far the best choice for pet boarding in the Puyallup area. Prices are fair, the facilities are safe, and the folks running the place are always so friendly. We love the goofy report cards on pickup, and we love that we know our pets are safe whenever we leave them here.

My pup (Coconut) had horrible anxiety and came home vomiting. She wouldn’t touch her food or drink water an entire day. If you have worries about dropping your pet off with others, you may want to read this. The younger women were very gentle and kind when we dropped her off on Monday afternoon (9/11/2023), and my wife and I were okay with leaving our baby. But on Thursday afternoon (9/14/2023, @2PM), during our pick-up, I noticed some concerns. The older woman who was doing our checkout seemed pushy. At first, I thought she was having a bad day (we all have bad days). But she dragged my puppy across the floor by the leash (she weighs 5 pounds, and the other women would carry her in). Coconut is a Shorkie breed with a very loving temperament. Our pup is a little bigger than a “teacup” breed. The woman came through the door and muttered under her breath, “If you don’t walk, I’ll drag you.”My wife was not paying attention, but I noticed the woman’s irritability. Our puppy is nine months old and still learning. She is a house dog who uses the potty outside off the leash. She is still being trained in this area and isn’t very well aquatinted with walking on the leash. When we got home, she kept on vomiting and shaking. The rough handling that I witnessed left a bad taste in my mouth. It was only this one individual who I was concerned with. I have no idea how she handled our pup when we weren’t around, but I know my pup’s behavior was far more than separation anxiety. We have been leaving her with another doggy daycare company, and we have never experienced anything like this. I will honestly say that this was not worth it. I’m grateful our pup is back to her old self again, as this is an entire day later, but I am heartbroken that I let this innocent animal endure this individual who utterly lacked patience. I will never forgive myself for talking my wife into this. I can only pray for this woman and that she treats no one else’s pets like this.

Have been taking my yorkie there for a couple of months now and the staff is the very best always so friendly and their love for pets is so evident in how they greet each dog and shows so much care.

My dogs had a great time and came home happy and falling asleep on way home. Pricing was pretty good at 22 for a full day for each dog. Half day (under 6 hrs) is 16. I wish for two things though. One that they should do a temperament test like camp bow wow where they make sure they are okay with other dogs instead of just descriminating against breeds. Also if they could have online cameras so we could check in on them (also like Camp Bow Wow) during play hours.

I have tried my dogs here many times for daycare. They always come home clean and tired. I tried boarding my dog here for a 5 day trip and they were able to take my dog to the grooming salon to get his hair cut and bring him back just in time for pickup. They did a great job.

The people are nice and it's clean but, when I made the reservation no one told me I had to pay extra for my dog to have play time. If I didn't pay for it he would just be stuck in his tiny room all day except for the 2 times they took him out to use the bathroom. It cost an extra $17 a day for him to be able to go into another room with the other dogs and play. I don't see how they justify charging that much because there isn't anyone hanging out in there with the dogs for the 8hrs they are in there. Won't be bringing him back here.

Do NOT board your pet here. My dog came home sick! He got kennel cough from here. I now have to keep my dog away from other dogs and my cats, For 2 weeks! I'm paying a ton for meds and antibiotics for him. I will be calling the facility in the morning and speaking to the manager to let them know. Btw. The oy place other then my house that my dog has been in over 4 months is this place and the only other place he's has been is the vets office. My dog doesn't sleep in a kennel at home he freely sleep where ever he chooses. Now he's coughing and barking like a seal uncontrollably and has no energy and is so sick it's unreal! My dog was boarded here on May 23-may 26th

Indiana Bones had so much fun at the PetsHotel, that I’m pretty sure he was angry that we came to pick him up. He’s an “only child” at home and doesn’t get daily play time with other dogs.Thank you to the staff there for taking such amazing care of him on such short notice.

Took my dog here since i flew out of Washington get back and because i picked her up after noon i was charged an extra fee I've never been charged before and I've picked her up a lot later than i did today. They lost a customer today and i will have nothing to do with pet smart ever again. I have spent alot of money in this store but i will go to petco or actual veterinarian offices from now. When i picked her up she had a ton of gunk in her eyes and that's something that needs to be taken care of daily with any dog so my guess is that they dont really care about the animals that come in they are just after money on them. My dog is my family and i treat her like family.
