Had a wonderful outing with my dogs, they got all the attention & pets. Employees were great! Even though I forgot my dogs rabies vaccine info the groomer was kind & helped me to find the info for next time. I love the treats by the pound, they're healthy & Inexpensive.I'll definitely be back to this location!

Got an email from Petco for my cats birthday, it said I can stop in at any store to get a free small can of Acana wet food for her. I stopped in my local one in Puyallup & also got a few other cans of clearance items. Went to the register to check out & let the cashier know I had a free can for my cats birthday. The email also stated to just show the associate the email & they can type in the code for it. I showed the cashier my email & she put it to the side to do last because she didn’t know how to do it. After scanning the other 6 cans I was purchasing she got to the free one again, asked i show her the email. I show her & she says normally there’s a barcode I can scan, let her know that no unfortunately no barcode just says to show you & you can type in the code. She glanced at it again & said no this is online only. I show you where it says I can take it to any store & redeem it. & she gets irritated & says well I don’t know how to do this so I don’t know. I just stood there expecting her to maybe call for manager help or something to figure it out. But she just looks at me & says so do you wants this after all or what? & I got really bummed & said I guess not. & then she asked if I wanted my receipt I immediately said yes & when I say that she pushed no I don’t want the receipt & she says I can’t go back, you can’t get the receipt & I walked out. This girl seemed so untrained & wasn’t even willing to be customer servicey at all. She had a poor attitude & didn’t even try helping me get my free can for my cats birthday. The words are in the email “take to any Petco, show associate the code & they can redeem it.” How hard is that? If you don’t know ask your manager on duty! She clearly was not the manager! Petco do better. Hire better employees & maybe pay them better so they have a better attitude. I get it was one simple can & i couldve purchased it but that wasn’t the point. I got this email for my cats Birthday & instructions were literally in the email for her to follow.

Hi, I would love to tell you my experience with Richard that woks in the Fish Department. He's a great guy, I love talking with him everytimeI come in the store he is very kind, and knowledgeable about the fish & care of them. Honestly I will not buy any fish unless he is there. Keep up the good work Richard you are awesome.

Just about Every time I shop there the sale items ring up as the regular price. This has happened several times. I now take a picture of the sale item and tag to show the cashier.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the store was very clean and organized. However you were out of the products I really needed. I was looking for superworms in the 50ct. All that was available was large mealworms in 12ct. I did ask if there were any available and unfortunately, the store had recieved its shipment that day but they had not been unpacked yet. It was close to noon and I couldnt wait around for them to be unpacked so I ended up having to leave. I wish more could have been done.

I forgot the employees name, he runs the aquarium department. He did an amazing job helping me with me betta fish. I didn’t know much going in, but he told me how important heaters, proper substrate, and filters. I’ve done a lot more research on bettas now and everything he said is 100% accurate and helped me ensure my betta is healthy. He deserves a raise!

I was in Petco in Grooming for our sweet Kaylee. She is a rescue with alot of love. The staff in Grooming (Victoria) are very caring. It is reassuring to us that Kaylee is well cared for. The trainer, Joanne is very caring and we are starting the puppy and adult dog classes. Exciting times ahead. Looking forward to it. The best for our Kaylee.

We came to this petco with my kids to return their pet mice and get new ones. Just feeder mice, no big deal. After waiting half an hour before anyone had time to help us, trying the whole time to get someone's attention, we finally got someone to help us. They took the return no problem. Next we headed over to the mouse tank where my kids eagerly started picking their favorites. We waited, and waited, and waited. Other customers were having the same problem. Nobody was helping anybody. Mind you, there were five or six employees standing around. Another family finally got someone's attention and was able to purchase a snake. That employee told us he would be right with us when he'd made that sale. So we waited more, only to be told that it was too late, they aren't making any more sales! We asked to speak with a manager and explained that we had been there for over an hour, we wouldn't have returned the pet mice if we didnt think we were getting more mice tonight. The manager told us it doesn't matter, they arent making any more sales.Boo, Puyallup petco. Thanks for making my kids cry. It was just a vouple of feeder mice, how hard would that have been? You ignored us until you could clock out and got away with not having to do some paperwork. I hope you're satisfied.

This store has a behavior on cancelling grooming appointments on the same day of the actual appointment after you made a booking month in advance and when you are saying that no, I need the appointment that I have today, to be done today, they can just reply: that’s your problem and hang up the phone like it happened to me today.The store manager never returned my call, when I requested it! And that’s after 5 years I have been Petco customer and had no problem with any other locations!

The employees are either worked to death, or just don't want to be there. They had fish with incorrect tags/pricing but didn't even care about that (not to mention the fish were sick and not being medicated).The company is fair, but any time you purchase something it's worth checking out Petco's online price which is usually cheaper. They'll price match if you show them, so again, the company is fine.

Hi my name is Finn! (Pictures attached I can't believe my mom is showing my bad photos). I just had the most wonderful time with Lula. She was so nice and gentle with me and let me lick her all over her cheeks. I just moved here with my humans and I'm excited that Lula is my new groomer. I think mom is too because she couldn't stop taking photos of me and saying how relieved she was. My last hair cut mimicked a 80s hair band on a bad drug trip. Thank you Lula! Now I can meet my new puppy neighbors with my cute new do.

I can see I’m not the only one, who got a call from this super unprofessional groomer in the morning with the information my booking for today being cancelled. Instead of apologies, she just hung up on me after I said that my appointment have been made a months ago and that’s so unprofessional to call me and tell that their groomer called out today and my appointment has been cancelled. Store obviously has operational problems, but instead of solving the problems inside the store, they just find the simpler way by calling their clients and cancelling. I left a voicemail with request to get a call from store manager, but still no response. So hopefully someone will see this review and finally decide to work today.

Always love coming in to this store!Spent some time speaking with Richard, in the aquatics department. He is extremely knowledgeable about his work! A wonderful attribute to this store, Richard was able to answer a lot of questions about several types of marine life. Very impressive!
