Valley Nursery is truly my happy place. The environment is so gorgeous and welcoming. The gift shop is actually one of my favorite stores in Poulsbo. They have such a variety of plants and their employees are so knowledgeable and helpful. In the summer, Viking ice cream hangs out — and there’s always chickens to look at and a resident kitty!! Plus their rewards system rocks! I’ve saved a ton with it. 1000000/10

We spent 2 hours here! Lots of plants to choose from. Each area is broken up so you can find the type you are looking for. Moderately priced. Local flora as well as some hard to find. Their gift shop is cute and offers plenty of different items. Even my teenagers found items they wanted. Not stroller friendly. They have large gravel down so it can be hard to push a stroller through some areas. But this also makes it good for wet days as you dont get muddy. Staff were friendly and talkative. The butterflies and bees were happy as well.

First, everyone should know that this nursery is watched and protected by their security guard named Plum! I'm sad I didn't capture a picture of this protector, fierce investigator, lover at heart, the one and only beautiful cat named Plum; next time!Ok, onward to this family-owned, insanely gorgeous nursery. Two hours there, and I cannot do this place justice!This gorgeous nursery offers acres of fruit trees, plants familiar and exotic, shrubs like no other, a wide variety of veggie starters, flowers, and more flowers, herbs, garden supplies, and décor; can't forget a cute little country store with its own wonders!The employees here are outstanding and knowledgeable, and everything there looked well cared for and healthy!If you can't find what you are looking for, call or come back, they continuously replenish items. Also, the only time they are closed (aside from at night) is during Christmas time.This brings me to say Halloween; they bring in pumpkins and more and a selection of Christmas trees at Christmas time!This place is definitely a gardener's paradise!So, would I recommend this pretty-as-a-picture nursery? Most definitely so!Valley Nursery is located in Poulsbo, Washington, at 20882 Bond Rd NE.

This place is great with a wide selection of plants and trees along with knowledgeable staff. If you don't see what you want they have a special order email that you can special.order items. You don't have to pay till they are at the nursery and you like themPretty sweet. Right now they have the viking ice-cream booth.

Great selection of plants, indoor and out.Some unusual plants that you might not find at other nurseries.My only complaint. The prices seemed a bit high. But aren't they everywhere?Spend time browsing lot's of fun stuff to discover.

I would love to give this place a five-star review because they do have beautiful high quality plants. I've only been once before.with a friend who lives near by.However, this morning I drove all the way over there from Sequim because I had received a sale flyer in the mail. What a zoo! After I sat in my car for half an hour trailing behind a long line of other cars winding their way fruitlessly through the parking lot looking for a place to park, I just left at the first opportunity without even bothering to shop. Here's a hint: the next time you have a sale and take the trouble to mail sale flyers over 3 counties, think about renting space somewhere nearby for the weekend and running a shuttle back and forth for your customers. Waste of time and fuel. 👎

I used to shop there but the owner, Brad Watts, has publicly revealed that he is bigot and a racist. He stopped one of my colleagues randomly in the parking lot of another local business. My colleague was driving a tribal vehicle with a logo on the side and Brad approached him and started ranting against the tribe and treaty rights.He also wrote this in a letter last spring to the Poulsbo City Council: "You think flying rainbow flags is not about politics? EVERYTHING is about politics today. What's next? BLM flags? Tribal flags?" Yes, all of those would be appropriate especially tribal flags since your business stands on ancestral tribal land.So Brad, being inclusive and showing support to people who do not look like you is not politics. You choose to make it about politics.I'm happy to have discovered a wonderful nursery with a small produce market just down the road, the Olmsted nursery, and won't go back to supporting Brad and his antiquated ideologies.In response to your question/uncertainty: yes, it is a true story related by one of my colleagues. We can probably easily come up with the time and place this confrontation with the owner has occurred. It is the reason some of the tribes’ department vehicles no longer have logos. The letter stating that supporting minority groups and those who are / have been persecuted by society and governments is political was written by the owner of Valley Nursery. Do you deny this as well?

If you live in Jefferson or Clallam County, THIS is the nursery to drive to. The variety is wide. The health of the plants is always superior. The icing on the cake is the availability of master gardeners to answer technical questions.

We’ve used this nursery for years and always appreciated their quality even if they’re prices were much higher than competitors in the area. However, after reading the owners bigoted letter to Poulsbo city counsel I will not be spending any more money here and I’ll make to dissuade anyone else I can from doing so as well. Hate has no place in Kitsap.

Employees are nice. Ceramics and outdoor deco is often damaged and in poor condition, and is mostly items from aliexpress or wish priced much higher than you'll find them at the Rite Aid down the road.Any other nursery in our area is worth patronizing over Valley Nursery, as it's owner is currently on a scorched-earth rampage on social media targeting other business owners and community members. Oh well.

I swear I just stopped by to check out the peach trees, yet somehow I still came back with a box of new plant friends (as usual!), this time in the theme of purple. Fantastic place to wander around and see what catches your eye.

While I don’t know him personally I am encouraged to shop at his business if I ever need anything nursery minded after learning of the letter he wrote to city hall in support of freedom, diversity and the real meaning of inclusion!

This nursery has a large selection of plants. There are lots of beautiful arrangements showing how one might create garden displays at home. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. One star off because of the high prices.

Can't and won't recommend to friends, family, or even enemies. Disappointing customer service and unwelcoming environment. The selection and health of the plants was underwhelming. Side note, I was surprised the business wasn't supporting pride month as downtown seems to be? I hope no one stole their pride, BLM, or tribal flags.

I love this nursery, tons of outdoor plants. I only buy indoor house plants and they have a really nice selection that often changes. It can be a tad bit on the pricer side, but I’ve never had any issues with pests and they are all very healthy.

This is an excerpt from a letter written by the owner in reaction to the town displaying pride flags during June. He signed this letter as the owner of Valley Nursery, so let it be a reflection of his business. "You think flying rainbow flags is not about politics? EVERYTHING is about politics today. I will never set foot in Valley Nursery again.

I love this place. I usually plan at least an hour for this trip, they have everything and anything you could want for landscaping/gardening. I end up wandering and learning so much each time. You'll pay a little more, but the product is far superior to plants and supplies you'll get at big box stores' gardening departments.

An amazing creekside location, spacious, inviting, wonderfully stocked, knowledgeable staff, very helpful and friendly. Maria and Hope are exceptionally professional and fair. This spot has everything you need to sculpt your yard into your wonderland. Warning, it is hard to leave this place!

valley is great, lots of selection and very helpful staff. They have something for everyone. The only down side is they are a bit more expensive than other places. basically don't expect to shop here without spending an average of $80 per visit.
