My dog likes the treat selection, there are a few that are unique to the area. It's a great pit stop on a walk downtown with a fur friend. I'm a big fan of small businesses and they are very friendly, I mean not as friendly as the dogs in there, but close.

Our pup is a nervous little guy and Kirsten is always so good with him and his nail trims are over before he knows it. Plus the yummy treats that he gets from the bins afterwards, makes it all worth it! We have 3 dogs (2 large, 1 small) and a cat. We always find fun treats, toys, and accessories for them when in the store. All of our animals sport bow ties that we change each season, and we always get compliments! The NW Dog has a wide selection of anything that you need, and if they don’t have it, they always have wonderful recommendations.

The NW Dog Poulsbo has an amazing selection of everything one would ever need to keep your dog happy and healthy at a competitive price. Kirstin is a trained Veterinary Technician with years of experience and is knowledgeable and always helpful. Store personnel are also friendly and have a treat ready for your pet. A wonderful boutique pet store!

The lady was very professional and knew what she was doing. It only cost $10 per dog. If you are looking for a place to get your dogs nails done then this is the place. 10/10 star rating from me. Thank you.We will definitely be back!

They don't seem to thrilled about dogs generally or too interested in people either...like they can't be bothered. The service is deplorable. Unfortunate because also not affordable, so the only reason to choose this would be for great service and to support local. Won't go back. Have been 4x, just to try to ensure it wasn't just a bad day.

Been struggling all morning with EVERY pet store in western Washington and felt pretty helpless. The NW dog was last on the list but I'm so thankful I called. Kirsten (apologies if i spelt that incorrectly) really went above and beyond for an upset stranger calling asking all kinds of questions and not only did she take the time to make sure I understood her but she was incredibly pleasant and understanding about the whole process. Thank you so much!

Calling all dog owners! I love coming to this store! Not only does the NW Dog carry brands that I've never seen of dog apparel and accessories they also can recommend the best type of food for my dog. The owner is a vet technician and also trimmed my dogs nails for me in a pinch. I love that this is a family-owned business and I will come back for all my dogs needs.

This shop is adorable! And the owners puppies are so cute and friendly! (Not for sale they are her pets lol) but I love all the toys and patterns on the leads/collars/harnesses. They also sell clothing. Have all sizes for small and large breeds.
