Checker tried to over charge me on chicken when I tried to ask her to separate the items she gave me a attitude and made some jesters with her hands at that time I had enough and left the store. Horrible customer service!!

Great overall with service and value. Produce guy was very helpful. They have some nice organic selections. Meat prices very competitive. No wait for checkout, they immediately called for backup when the line started forming at lunch time.

I love this local store! Their meat department is great! Plus, they make their own Italian sausage, which is amazing. The produce is always fresh and well stocked with many organic choices. There are tent sales with fruit and veggies from locale farmers in the summer. Twice a year there are meat sales wth huge cuts of meat. The butchers package what you buy in smaller portions with no extra charge. I look forward each week to their weekly specials. Jeff (the owner) and his crew are courteous, friendly and quick to help customers. Inside improvements to the store are on-going. Mary 🙂

They still bag groceries, which is a needle in a haystack. It's so relaxed here, not stressful at all, I can finally enjoy grocery shopping again! Great prices, great produce, great people!

They have a friendly staff and great location. This is the place you stop real quick on way home to grab ingredients for dinner. Their selection is a bit limited due to the size of their store, but if there is something you want them to carry they will order it for you. Totally worth it though, because there is always close parking and rarely much of a line. Quality produce and meats.

This is an old style grocery store. Small but carries the essentials. They do have a great beer and wine selection. The cashiers are friendly like stepping into the past when customer service was king.

Good for staples if you run out and need an item quickly, but the expirations on some things isn't checked and their produce is ok, not the best but it's good for consuming same day.

Best place to go. I go here almost everyday to get last minute things for work because it is right next door to my job. Friendly staff and very helpful. I highly recommend this store if you work on Viking Avenue because it just a nice small store that has basically whatever you need.

They carry brands other stores don't. The meat department has excellent choice and quality. It's not a huge store so you're not exhausted by the time you find what you need. The employees are always great too.

Such an easy store to stop by on the way home and grab that last thing I need for dinner or to grab a dessert for a party I'm on my way to. They're always great about getting you in and out, and they have a lot of items I don't find in big box stores.

Red Apple is today's version of the old time country store. They're friendly local folks who remember what good customer service is. I love coming here to shop and support a store that thus far hasn't been shut down by the big box stores. My favorite thing to buy there are the 99 cent bags of old fruits and vegetables I use those to make dehydrated foods. #shoplocal

Employee "DAVID"---I think if I remember correctly by name badge was very helpful finding what I needed and kindly offered recommendation on which brand to get based on his experience. He was knowledgeable and couteous. Will shop there again!

It's a friendly market... I go in every now and then to just see how things are going. Red Apple is the last of it's kind when you think about it... not very many left compared to the others in the area... Still I like how its quiet and the staff are always friendly...

RETRO!!!!!!!! You'd better shop here while it's still open. If you do it'll stay a viable business. Stores like this are in short supply. The big, fancy, pretty, new guys are pinching them out of the market. This store is truly a jewel. Enjoy it!!!!

pouwksbo Historical market with quick access to grocery. well laid out, except for the entrance and exit door which need to be swapped. thats bothered me for years. all employees are always nice and helpfull.
