Everyone is so helpful here, so lucky to have you guys a mile down the road. Locally grown grains and feed, not to mention those little metal yard arts my mom fawns over. Great for bird seed and pups even when I didn't have a horse. I try my hardest to avoid the W-store and the TS store when I can to support these guys. Not to mention how many local rescues they help also!!

Penny is so knowledgeable, and fun. Everything here is at least a dollar less than Walmart. The plants are healthier and cheaper. It's local and better than a big busy store , very relaxing to shop.

I bought straw for the stray cats to nest in. (Hay is for horses, straw is for strays) Price was fair and they loaded it into my car. Would've given 5 stars for something smaller than a 3 string bale, which was way more than I needed.

Great store and I’ve always received good advice on dog products. Also got the cheapest and healthiest tomato starts I’ve ever seen. It’s August now and I’m rolling in beautiful tomatoes!Thank you!

Staff was very helpful, was shopping for someone who was unable to do so themselves and wanted cost sensitive cat food. The lady that helped me used the calculator on her phone and broke down the price by pound for each bag to find the difference, (which i did not ask her to do) so I could get the best price per pound. That was above and beyond, and very good customer service, which seems to be a lost skill these days.

Love this place. I was born in the last century and appreciate a REAL, old-fashioned farm store. And, of course, non-ethanol gasoline for my machines is a wonderful plus. We're lucky to have them...

The people at this company are very nice but seem to be pretty disorganized when it comes to propane fills. I asked to have a monitor placed multiple times and each time they forget to install it. They keep saying the next full they will do it. I am switching to another company because without the monitor, getting them to come out timely is pretty tough. We were without our heat a couple of times this winter.

Staff are friendly and helpful, though I feel I can't contribute much by way of their selection because I own a cat, not a farm. I go there for the selection of high quality cat foods at good prices, and my mother with a dog assures me their dog selection is just as top notch.

During the snow storm, they denied us service for not having a mask, and were unwilling to provide one for us so we could make our purchase. The fact they were so unwilling to help a paying customer coming to buy something to help with this ice and snow, truly shows who they are as people. Absolutely willNever give them my business again and will make sure friends and family don’t either.If you forget your mask and still need to feed your animals, Viking feed in Kingston is the place to go.

We all know chs is one of the main go to places around here for feed, fuel and other plant/animal needs. They also have a fun gift area! It's a great place to easily access (traffic and parking in Poulsbo...) for a lady minute trinket, birthday gift etc. Who knew!? Me ;)

Propane..first time closed on mondays, no refills. The second time Thursday at noon the employee just handed the lady in front of me her receipt. Told me they were closed, no refill for me, as they were taking lunch. I went inside and asked when I could come back, they said in 2 hours(at 2:00).Three employees behind the counter, and a couple standing outside to load merchandise.Way to hard, and a waste of gas.

If it were possible to give fewer starts (or negative stars), I would. I went there this morning to fill up a couple propane tanks. While I counted no less than 2 people in the warehouse and 2 more in the retail store, and having to wait more than 10 minutes for anyone to even notice I was standing at the front counter (as well as being the only customer there), I was told "We don't do propane on Mondays". Just to clarify, nowhere on their website nor any signage I could find onsite indicated this lack of service availability. Since I was able to get propane from another source (and cheaper btw) I can be certain this practice is not regulated by governing bodies. This means I have to assume the employees here are just lazy.As this was my first visit to CHS and will be in need of other farm products/services since moving here, I'm certain I will be looking for another retail establishment to spend my resources at.I would like to thank CHS for so clearing expressing the level of desire they have to serve this community. I'll be taking my future business elsewhere.

Hit and miss. Their employees are super friendly and obviously work hard. BUT I've had the wrong feed put in my car on multiple occasions (like more than 3) despite the loading tickets. Also 50% of the time they are out of stock of what I need.

Open and closed times need to be updated for the paving. Saw the hours here and the sign on the door saying sorry for the inconvenience while paving but we'll still be open so I went in and was told they weren't open to the public. Pretty misleading.

The staff are helpful and friendly. They are in process of a remodel and have greatly improved the product lines and variety available at this location. I wish they would add more western apparel or workwear though. Great selection of rubber boots,and feed choices, feild amendments and seed. Many get fire logs here during the winter.

I have tried other companies in the area, and Cenex offers the best prices and most of all...the best service. Our tank got too low and the pilot went out, they're there to take care of it. We love that they carry our favorite bird seed in large quantities too.

Excellent service. Cheap propane, friendly and professional service, also have the only non ethanol free gas in the area. Worth every penny. People, do not be deterred by the higher gas price, ITS ETHANOL FREE! Do you research on it. I only use ethanol free. Ethanol is a scam and actually hurts the environment and your gas milage-by a lot.

I get my compressed logs here every year. Had been getting them at the fireplace store, but the prices were better here one year and I don't bother waiting for the inconsistent sale at the fireplace store anymore. Also this place is must for tax free diesel for the tractor and for ethanol free gas for lawnmower/weed whacker/chainsaw.Finally, the only place I've found the Gripple for doing the tension wire in my fencing/projects. Look into the Gripple if you don't know what I'm talking about. They are awesome.

Very busy place, like their dog food selection: Victor and Arcana. They always have a good selection of stuffed farm animals. I go there usually for propane (good price) and dog food.

I never get good service here I don't understand why it's so hard to treat people with some respect. Every time I go in here the blonde lady behind the counter treats me like dirt. She is super rude and short when she speaks to me I don't recommend this place if you can avoid it. the warehouse staff is nice and seems to know what they are doing but their customer service staff is terrible
