Nice local market uptown. Grab a coffee, sandwich, or sushi to go. The original building had more funkiness to it. I always enjoyed going there as a kid to get candy and as a teen to get coffee before school.

What a super fun store! It’s got everything from toys and gifts, to wines and chocolates, to produce and specialty cheeses! Also has a ton of local specialty items from the peninsula.Will definitely come back when we visit Port Townsend!

Off the top of my head I can't recall exactly what this place is or why I was there. No doubt, though, it was for something real cool and I am certain I had a good time. I gave it only 3 stars for not being more meaningful and for lack of an impression being made.

Small store. A variety of tourist trade items. Lots of fixings for party foods. Pleasant people. Coffee/tea bar with homemade food offerings(cookies, muffins, etc.)

Still a PT landmark... unfortunately, except the fresh-squeezed orange juice has been replaced with a wall of liquor. Tourists seem to be drawn, as always, only now they can find plastic dinosaurs to take home to cherish the PT experience. I miss the creative deli food

Alrichs is awesome. My only suggestion is the store needs to work on staying ontop of expiration dates. I found many of things from hot dog buns to the hot dogs expiried and re stickered to not be expired which is a bit weird. Peel back the paper expiration to see the true one made by the manufacturer.

Great neighborhood store, we always visit when we come to town. The refrigerated carrot cake in the little cooler at the back of the store is some of the best in the state with no qualifiers. There is a great selection of chocolate bars, decent coffee and the people are always very friendly. The store has a great layout and nice high ceilings that make things feel great. Would recommend.

Great little shop, very decent selection for the size and I like that they try to have stuff the other grocery stores in town don't carry- like the delicious yuzu Japanese barbecue sauce! Lots of fun finding new specialty treats. However the stuff that other stores also carry is usually more expensive here so it's worth strategizing. The sushi and coffee options inside are also good.

Best sushi in town. Also all the packaging (for the sushi) is compostable! And an excellent coffee bar. I love the view from the upstairs balcony, both inside and outside. This place has an amazing history and the current owners seem to honor that, which is lovely.

The variety that this store has to offer is amazing! It felt like a gift shop at a museum (don’t expect Port Townsend themed souvenirs but really some general cute gifts). It’s also a coffee shop, a sushi deli, a liquor store, and a place to get some healthy food. Prices are a bit high but other than that, I liked it all.

The sushi here is the best in town. You will pay sushi restaurant prices. The store is cute and fun and is also very expensive.They have an adorable eating area upstairs with a swinging picnic table and carousel whale.

Downstairs there’s fresh produce, great coffee and all sorts of other goodies. If you need a gift there’s also a unique selection of items for that too. Most importantly be sure to visit the upstairs lounge and enjoy the Tower of Giraffes Balançoire glider or give your child a ride on the galloping humpback whale.

Best place to get treats, gifts, local and just plain fun. Sushi is amazing. Friendly people. Great soup. Lot's of wine and spirits. Also one of the oldest run stores on the Peninsula. Pure fun. A must go and see. All employees have share in this store as far as I am aware. :)

Fantastic having a local store again, many new exciting items here. It’s nice to have some staples too.Large selection nicely filled shelves.The prices might seem high but they probably have to be for them to make it.The staff is very friendly and helpful, they greet and get to know the regulars by name.The sushi is outstanding, Dave the sushi guy is awesome!Really nice neighborhood store, I recommend it!

Sushi! The best in the area. It was similar to some I have had in very highly rated sushi restaurants. The rest of the store is great also. It has a lot of specialty ingredients, healthy food and gourmet food. The customer service is excellent. I was really impressed with how much they helped us at the sushi counter. The cashier was also great. They are very friendly and helpful. I see in some reviews people commenting on high prices. They seemed good to me for the type of quality they offer and the location.

I was going to go with 4 stars because this place is BEYOND "a little on the pricey side" it is honestly ridiculousFrom $10 for a loaf of Dave's Killer bread ($6 most other places) to $130 blankets that I see for $80 elsewhere. Shwew!!In reading other reviews, I have to agree that it is what it is.If you want to enter an AMAZING building, full of energy and awesome home town goodness, this is your spot. I learned that it burnt down years ago and has had some struggles, but the locals do their best to show up and pay too much!My major hope is that they give better than average jobs. If they aren't paying staff $20+ an hour, then we need to talk. Because even at that wage, they can not afford to live in the town they work in.They are stellar. Every employee I've seen is top of the line, and their coffee ROCKS!
