Last few times I’ve been to this location employees have been super disrespectful to my significant other. Not only is this disrespectful but completely uncalled for especially when she only laughs once, and short laughs at that. Mind you not all employees are bad, but if they aren’t by the registers or a greeter by the door. This is probably the most unwelcoming store I’ve been in.

Having a self-checkout that allows for email only receipt and then illegally detaining people at the door who don't have a paper receipt is some next level nonsense. I paid for my items 4 ft away from the security officer and he still wouldn't let me leave because I had dropped my paper receipt. That is illegal. But of course no one fights you because you have the upper hand. Yay capitalism

Got 2 winter sleeping bags great deal, a butane stove still unused as finding a covered picnic table that doesn't cost a fortune to use is tricky,Got a nice canteen set. The smaller pan makes a great bowl full rice chrispies. The sleeping bag liner is just a silky bag. Miss my polar fleece one. Got a top of car carrier.

Rude old employee at self checkout stopped us from buying gift cards for our family. Was very aggressive like she assumed we were money laundering. Poor service. Another lady came up and explained better, and was much nicer. 1/5.

Their pickup and delivery has gone downhill. So many items are cancelled that are in stock. Things that are heavy or awkward, like watermelons, are cancelled when they are in stock. Anything out of the way of grocery gets cancelled when in stock. The delivery fees aren't worth it when you have to drive to the store to get the items that are in stock that were cancelled by the shoppers... You just can't count on the service.

This is one of my favorite Walmart. Top 3 for sure. Beware, they stopped using bags, so you will have to bring some or buy some. They have a wide variety of things from electronics to clothing to jewelry to food to garden fishing etc. This building was extended a few years back so it is one of the biggest in the area. Best parking ever. Great staff.

My husband and I were at self checkout 4/21 around 10:30 ish, my husband accidentally walked up to a closed checkout stand (the closed sign is so small and was angled so we couldn’t see it right away) and whoever the woman was working self checkout that morning was SO unnecessarily rude. She scoffed at him and was aggressively saying things like “did you not see the sign?? It’s CLOSED.” even after he apologized. She even said “are you blind or something?” I was so taken aback at how frustrated this small mistake made her — I’ve never had a customer service worker lecture me before. never going back to this location again.

April 2, 2024: I was attempting to find either a hand carry basket or one of the smaller carts at the Port Orchard store and was promptly informed by customer greeters that the store removed them all due to increased cart thefts. I understand many retailers have experienced this pervasive problem; however, the solution is not to burden customers, particularly those of us who cannot manage using a large heavy metal cart. I didn’t realize Walmart profits were down, forcing the company to institute economies no matter the consequence to customers. Must I purchase my own folding shopping cart because Walmart won’t provide one I can maneuver without risking injury? My personal issue is a torn rotator cuff, so I must be careful not to lift or push/pull anything too heavy. I am also a senior citizen and my shopping needs for a two person household generally do not require using a large cart. The store greeter suggested I use my own cloth shopping bag for my purchases! Shame on Walmart for putting the customer’s needs ahead of profits. Apparently Safeway and Fred Meyer are able to maintain their supply of small carts. That’s where I’ll be shopping.

I love Walmart but this place in particular is mean to everyone I mean first of all they don't even give out free bags you have to pay for them and I just mean like plastic bags I don't mean like special bags also every time I go shopping at Walmart or any other store I always plug my bike in because it's electric I just moved to the area which is out here in Washington so I'm up in the mountains and my battery doesn't last that long which is what I found out thanks to the security guard who unplugged my battery right after I started shopping when I came out after 2 hours thinking my battery would be charged it was not so plugged it back in security guard popped back out again told me I couldn't do it which I know is not true and then threatened to call me answer on me which he did and the manager number so and so I left and I will never return because my bike was dead and thank God for Safeway because they allowed me to plug my bike in and chill while I was shopping, thank God for Safeway Amen

As a frequent shopper at Walmart, I have unfortunately become all too familiar with the discriminatory practice of receipt checking at the door. Despite being a loyal customer, I consistently find myself subjected to unnecessary scrutiny based solely on my race.On multiple occasions, I have observed an unsettling pattern: individuals of certain races are targeted for receipt checks while others are not. The most recent incident occurred when I witnessed a Filipino woman warmly greeting another Filipino couple as they exited the store. However, when it came to me, despite being of a different race, my receipt was scrutinized without fail.This disparity in treatment is not only unfair but also deeply concerning. It sends a distressing message that certain customers are deemed more trustworthy based on their race, while others are automatically viewed with suspicion. Such practices not only perpetuate harmful stereotypes but also create an atmosphere of distrust and division within the community.It is imperative that Walmart corporate address this issue promptly and take proactive measures to ensure that all customers are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race. Trust should not be based on superficial characteristics such as race, but rather on the actions and behavior of individuals.

Paper bags must come out of the workers paychecks. 🙄When your using WIC or EBT the bags are free but don't forget to input it before checking out or workers get aggressive.I'm sorry I'm not a Walmart worker and knew that. Maybe get rid of self checkout and open the registers. You have enough workers breathing down necks to cover a few🙄

I love Walmart but this one is the stingy store..no bags offered for free and we are in the middle of nowhere beautiful mountains so what the heck would security unplug an electric bike my battery was dead cause unused it to get there and go shopping , I've always plugged my bike in at Walmart but admittedly this was my first time here, not only did security unplug my bike but then when I plugged it back in after I was done shopping and had extra time to back my groceries up but then security came out again and told me I couldn't plug my bike in which I know was not true cuz I had done many other places before that including Walmart. I've been proceeded to tell him this and then he just starting to get the manager which I told him to go ahead and do so and then he disappeared this was awful because I have cancer and I needed to have a boost in order to get back home which was about 14 mi away down by minter road and like I said I'm new here so I didn't know how much power my battery would need needless to say it did die a pound of 5 minutes after I started moving which then thank God for Safeway because they let me plug my bike in and chill until it was done thankfully they were only about a few miles northwest I will never shop at this Walmart again these people are terrible.

We have outstanding young professionals working this store. I'm disappointed that all the new security cameras don't automatically scan out my cart. The lighting in the store makes me sick. I'm not greeted at the door only awkward situations as I am leaving

I was not happy with the prices and selection at this store. I couldn't find much that didn't sparkle, so if you're just looking for something simple, try somewhere else. When did we all become princesses?

Another nice Walmart. The only negative I can share is LACK OF CASHIERS. I don't want to do my own checkout. This causes a nightmare...with price checks etc. PLEASE WALMART, HIRE MORE CASHIERS.

By far the worst Walmart ever. Today proved why I don't do online orders. The order was incorrectly picked, numerous things left off, I paid for express delivery which did not happen and customer service refused to pick up when I called. I then received a hostile driver who not only yelled at me but also attempted to break my screen door.

I understand its wallmart with that being said there are still required to sell fresh products, i purchased ribs turned out they where bad. Couldn't get refund. Story short pay alittle more by shopping elsewhere, at least you know its not bad

Never enough help. You can find most anything, but much of it is poor quality. Grocery has very limited good quality organic or healthy food.Just what you would expect from Walmart.Staff is helpful

This store is looks like a homeless camp. Smells worse then a rest area. People either begging for money or there in the parking lot arguing. Don't feel safe here. Management say they can't do anything about it. Good luck hopefully your car won't be broken into like mine while shopping. Yes watch out for the urine stains.

Worst store ever. Especially the Port Orchard Walmart. So much is always going wrong. Ive had multiple issues here. Can’t exchange items even though the receipt clearly says you’re able to within 30 days. Having toys out on shelves, but when you try to buy one, the barcode doesn’t work. Why? Apparently they put them out early, and can’t let you buy it. Now, it sounds like they’re completely throwing out their return policy. I asked an employee today, if I buy something and don’t open it or use it, can I return it? She straight up said “No, I don’t know, but normally no.” And went on to explain that they’re using a new return system. Big yikes. Don’t spend too much money here, because they do not follow the normal Walmart policies that are listed on Walmarts website. It’s a no from me, and I’ll be sure my friends and family all know that Walmart is not the place to shop.

Folks that are complaining about returns… download the app, keep your receipts IN the app, you can scan on way out, you don’t need to use the app to pay. When you want to return an item, you locate the receipt within the app, click return, it walks you through. I’m no young buck and I figured it out.If your returning a food item, 9/10 it instantly refunds you, other items will say “bring to store and show barcode” that’s all. They do accept returns. Worse case, drive to Bremerton or PB. Poulsbo has the best Walmart super center. Happy employees and great service. I never have issues there. Just moved to port orchard for the views and kind of not looking forward to shopping at this Walmart. I’ll see what happens though and give those employees all my smiles, it sounds like there’s a lack of training at this location.

Pay attention to your receipt. I bought boxes, all the same. Yet when I got to the register, it rang up with a different UPC number and price. When I questioned this, they simply tried to void it out without explanation. But after voided and re scanned, the correct box UPC showed up. I wasn't upset with the .20 difference. I was concerned that an item I didn't have was showing up on the screen. One employee assumed that another employee put it into the system incorrectly. As a way to explain off the mistake. But... if that was the case, then the box would have continued to ring up with the wrong price and barcode, which it didn't.

Went to buy a few cheap electronic items like a flash drive that a microSD card under $15. Every single item was locked up, requiring me to go find an employee so they could unlock these particular items. Instead, I went to Staples where they keep these items in security boxes that the customers bring up to the counter. This way, they don’t waste customers’ time trying to find associates, and associates can better spend their time doing what they should be doing. When loss prevention becomes sales prevention, you’re not doing good as a business. This is a very bad decision in terms of customer service and in terms of utilizing the hours associates are given.

It's okay. The food is warm, not hot, like all buffets. You can get hot food at the Mongolian grill here. There is a wide variety of food choices available here as well as desserts.
