Took my Amazon return to Staples. Amazon and 2 banners in the store promised a $10 coupon.Return took forever. Clerk tried 3 time before she got it right and I was handed a 15^ off coupon.When I asked, I was told the promotion was over and that they "would try" to take the banners downVery bad customer service and first experience.

I have been shopping at Staples for over 20 years and today I was blessed to be served by the best employee that I have ever been helped by. Her name is Indika and she was more knowledgeable than any other associate at any Staples store that I've done business with.She managed to help me and 5 or 6 other people all at the same time. She definitely gets 10 stars and above from this happy customer!!!This is the first time I have ever let a review for an associate at this store

Did TSA pre check here and it was quick and easy. (No more than 10 min)Asked where car cell phone holders and was told were they were but service was nothing special.Received coupon after paying.

I have elderly parents that were doing medical paperwork, had to fax...not lots of understanding of how faxing works. Always when I have taken him in they were helpful throughout the process helping and explaining. It had been a while, he was having trouble with the whole process this time and i thought oh it will be okay as they are helpful but, when they went in they got a lady that was rude, parked them at a huge machine that was totally intimidating and was very rude when they had to ask questions. They were very upset when they returned home..on top of that it was 46 dollars for their "med assistance" paperwork. We will find another helpful place to fax. Maybe Office Depot...it is not okay to get that kind of treatment, especially with one in a walker and the other a cane. So disgusted......also she was a manager or something not the girl behind the counter..

Not a great Staples experience. The staff was not very helpful or knowledgeable about what the store does and doesn't sell. Went in looking for corrugated plastic (material for signs) and trying to make things quick asked the first employee I saw telling them it was to make signs. She had no clue and called someone else and was told that they don't sell it. Decided to do my own search and found it in the sign section. Very frustrating and over priced.

Thank you so much Tevin for coming in during your day off so everyone that had an appointment could get their appointment they had for TSA.He was very accommodating and kind to those who walked up and those who had appointments.Really appreciate the effort and commitment to help customers out when he did not have to cover for anyone, as I drove from far away 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

My wife and I like this store a lot. As with other Staples reviews we don't get the low ratings. This store usually has what we want in stock. I recently bought a keyboard online that I picked up at the store. Great email communication and the associate who retrieved my order was very nice. Every cashier here has been very friendly and fast. The one exception is the cashier who was working the register on our last visit. But it was his first day on the job and so when he was having a problem finding the right buttons to press on the cash register for first purchase I suggested he ask for help. That's how you learn the ropes on a new job. Another associate talked him through it and he was fine. Hey, I've been there myself many times.This is the only office supply store in town. We're grateful it's here so we don't have to shop at other stores that attempt to be all things to all shoppers.

I can see why they are going out of business and closing stores.Business card design process is way more of a pain than it needs to be.Costs are way to much for what your getting, especially when you can order online.Staff doesn't seem to happy to help their customers the few times I have been in there. Or they don't know how to help.

I went to do tsa precheck and the woman works there is a little unprofessional. She doesn't seem to understand the difference between an alias and maiden name and when I started to get frustrated trying to make sure she got everything correct she snapped at me and told me not to get mad at her because it wasn't her fault and had nothing to do with her. I had to explain I may have sounded annoyed, but I was getting very frazzled by the experience, was doing my best to keep it together, and didn't need her purposely pushing my buttons.

For many years we have shopped at Staples in Port Orchard. For a short time the staff was less than friendly or helpful. More recently we have had wonderful experiences with those who work here.The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, yet not pushy at all. They offer suggestions, or just politely listen to what the customer wishes to purchase. Sometimes we just browse, other days we purchase. Regardless which we do, they are extremely helpful, courteous,and willing to do the extra mile.Although we do not shop for all of our electronic or office-type needs, we do shop there quite regularly.We highly recommend Staples in Port Orchard.

Shout out to Valentina in printing. She took the extra steps to make sure my business cards turned out great! On a Sunday she called me to let me know my file didn’t print well. She emailed too, just to make sure she could reach me. I sent her a corrected version and she made sure it looked perfect. Thank you Valentina for helping my business cards look their best. I’m proud to give them to my customers. I normally don’t like Staples but this was really awesome service.

Woman who was helping with with Twix card was extremely rude and unprofessional. Making fun of my name, saying it was stupid and ppl would be mean to me cause it sounds Mexican. I wish I had filed a formal complaint. 😔 She is racist.

I needed copies made of an almost 400 page document. I checked prices online and found that they offered a high volume discount, and upon reading the chart o saw that my copies would cost me around 7¢ per page. I asked at the counter if I do them myself or if they do them behind the counter, and the clerk told me either way would be fine. I asked how long it takes and she told me that it could be about an hour or two, and then said they're the same price. So I went to self-serve to make my 396 copies. I was assuming the discount would be applied after I was done copying my documents, and it was not. So I talked with the clerk behind the counter, and that's when I was informed that the high-volume discount is only available online or behind the counter; not with the self-serve machines. Meanwhile, there are no signs ANYWHERE in the print center which shows the prices of the different services. The only time I was given a price is after making my copies. I was then told there was nothing SHE could do herself, but if I wanted to talk to a manager, I could. And then I had to go find a manager on my own, she wouldn't even call one to the print center counter. Once I tracked down a manager, he seemed really put-out that I stopped him to talk about an issue. After I told him the situation, he begrudgingly called over another manager, because he didn't seem to want to deal with me. When he explained my issue to the other manager, he made it sound like I was an idiot and a problem customer because I didn't know the price prior to making my copies. The second manager told me it was my fault, and that they don't honor the high-volume discount at the self serve station. It wasn't until I was visibly upset that she decided she could have someone re-ring my purchase to give me the difference. I ended up walking out. I was planning to make several other purchases at this Staples location because I needed to buy file folders, hanging folders, labels, markers, post-its, staplers and staples, tape, paperclips, and a filing cabinet. But I will just buy everything from Walmart instead.

If the store seems empty it might be due to their terrible customer service. On friday the 6th of march at 3:27pm, we came here to purchase a desk. We requested 3 different customer reps in a period of 5 min from entering. Timer on... its been 15 min with no one to take the bin number of the product while customer reps inventory the store with no customers around but one couple walking around. Finally at 20 min we took the tag to the customers help desk to see if they could help us after they had told us to wait for help that never came... terrible service.

It was super thanks to Casey and Larry. We are here on vacation and needed some assistance with my phone down loading pictures to make room. They took wonderful care of me and showed me how to access everything. We even got recommendations as where to eat in the area. Very personable group😄

I called the store to see if they sell a cable port bend protector (the kind that's rubber or plastic and is about 2 inches long that goes on both ends of the cable by the plugs to prevent the cable from bending/pinching) after going through the automated menu, a lady answered the phone. She was very polite, and I made my inquiry and she "I'll go look" then put me on hold. I was on hold 5 minutes and then a guy picked up the phone and started the entire conversation over again. Clearly the lady didn't tell him what I was looking for. So I made the same inquiry to him, and he told me they didn't have it. He was very polite. However, I feel that it would have been more professional for her to do one of the following:A.) Put me on hold for a minute while she got someone who could answer (if she didn't know)B.) Went and looked for it on the shelf and then came back and put me on the phone with someone more knowledgeableC.) Looked it up in the computer while on the phone with (And if that is not possible, that needs to ASAP)D.) Had the guy who came on the phone (already knowing my inquiry) and then ask me to explain further what I was looking for (if she didn't understand my inquiry)I ready to come in today and buy the product if they had it, but if they did end up having it, I would have gone somewhere else.I'd give a higher star rating for the fact that both the lady and the guy were polite, and that the guy "knew his stuff", but the unprofessional way they handled my call outweighed the aforementioned factors.

Great. They had what i was looking for that wasn't anywhere else i looked. They opened a registry when the line was long which is always nice.Most of the stuff they sell you can get foe the same price or less at Walmart while buying toothpaste and gala apples. Staples though has a few specific things that occassionally make it worth the trip. For example if i need anything in the copying/business cards/etc. area wherw i need to actually talk to someone, Staples is the place to go.

I live in Gig Harbor but I was in Port Orchard today and went to Staples . My copier at home had quit working so I stopped in to get a ticket printed I had purchased that was in my email .After waiting at the counter for a bit a lady ask if she could help me . I wish I would have got her name , she was around a 60 yr old ( my age ) with bifocal glass w/ a strap on them . I explained my situation and she was not happy ,I on the other hand have a smile for all I meet ,but not her . She said the only thing that could be done is I would have to go home ,forward the email to them and return to get my tickets .All the while she appeared very angry and put out . I told her that I lived in Gig Harbor and that was aweful lot of driving ,she just shrugged . So I replyed ok then ,I will find someone to help .That is when another girl who doing so work on copier or something spoke and said ( while smiling ) Sir ,you can just go over to the computers that are on display and send it to us . But I don't believe Staples deserves my patronage anymore .I went to office depot ,told them my dilemma and they SMILED and said "no problem sir" ,spun the computer around and ask me to get up what I wanted and less than 5 minutes I was out door with my tickets ,it cost me 26 cents .I will never step in a staple storeagain..

Stay away from this place if you care about the staff respecting your family.Went here with my daughter who is in the sixth grade and the cashier was asking to get her number?! I told the manager and the dude just played it off like nothing happened.Pathetic place and I will never be going here again.

Went in to pick up a few last minute things fir the kids for school.... By the time the SECOND employee just stood behind me staring decided my money should be spent elsewhere. Rude. Very rude. Too bad for them. The manager will definitely be receiving a call from me.

I just had copies of garage plans scanned and transferred to a thumb drive for way less than fed ex and they did it for me instead of making me do it myself. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
