Greatest grocery store I've ever been to. Especially Marcus in the meat department. He helped me out tremendously with the selection of seafood. My cashier Nellie is so friendly and fast. This is the best place around. Best produce dept, best bakery, best meat dept and efficient and friendly cashiers. Only place I go from now on.

Don't order pick Up. The items are over priced and selection is very limited. The employee shopping for you isn't going to pick a decent cut of meat they will just grab whatever matches the order. It's what you get for being lazy and letting their uneducated staff shop for you. Will never use pick up again, and honestly Fred Meyer and Walmart are close to me anyways.

Annoyed. Had issues at the self checkout and employee forced me to give her a “10” on the employee rating as she watched over my shoulder. She literally said I had to give her a rating and wouldn’t leave me alone.What good are employee ratings if they coerce you to give them specific ratings?

Went there around 8 am on a Saturday morning to grab a few things before they got busy. The entire store was a complete disaster with freight all over blocking isles. Saw a few employees actually working the freight but most were standing around talking. Just about everything I needed was not put out yet in the service departments or on selves. Including their digital deals. When I had to ask about items in several departments the employees were rude including the cashier when my digital coupons didn't come off properly. Which is a common issue at the store because apparently their Wi-Fi isn't good according to employees.

Albertsons has a pretty cool bakery department. I love all there creative cupcakes donuts and cakes ! Very FRESH ! There are also a lot of cool unusual vegetables and fruits and herbs and mushrooms. The flower department smelled wonderful. And don’t forget to get your flu shot and COVID shot at the pharmacy. Each department was VERY friendly and helpful. My husband loves to get his lunch from the hot counter.

This morning Abigail (Abby) in the floral department went above and beyond. We were getting flowers and a balloon for our daughter. She filled the balloon a bit more without us asking, and when my husband asked for a little green in the daisy's she got more, rewrapped them in daisy paper with a pink bow. Made my husband happy (to the point he asked her name and asked mr to do a review lol) and my daughters face when she saw the flowers was priceless. Thank you so much.

Convenient location, usually quick and easy to find stuff you need and if you need help finding things then staff is always willing to help. Staff are polite and caring too. If you come here often, the staff will start to remember you and see how you are doing. Currently in the middle of remodeling/moving things around inside the store so some things won't be in their usual place time to time, but staff can assist on directing you to the temporary location or the new location of the items. The app gives decent discounts and special discounts just for you based on things you normally buy as well as month long discounts with no limit.

Since the remodel and "take over" by Safeway the quality of service, food in the deli and cleanliness has gone by the wayside. I will never step foot in this store again and highly recommend anyone that see's this does the same. It is a very convenient place for me to shop and grab a quick bite for lunch or groceries on the way home from work but I will drive out of my way to go to WINCO in Bremerton or even Silverdale before I step foot back in this store.

I did a return here, had my receipt, got the return receipt and threw them both away for the manager that assisted me, she was very nice and got threw the process quickly, after I got done I still had the empty plastic bag which I put under my arm, well I walk towards the exit passing by self checkout and this employee felt like she was pacing me, I thought it was weird but just ignored the odd feeling then this woman tries to push a vacant cart out in front of me and yells CAN I HELP YOU PAY FOR YOUR ITEMS!?! I was shocked! And embarrassed, and mortified that this "employee" not only accused me, or attempted to assult me with a cart, or slandered my character publicly, making a display in MY TOWN, where I have to she my face everyday... Now she labeled me as some common shoplifter, when that is not the case... Even when she basically tried to get in my face and block my path, I had to make it clear to this mad woman that I had just completed my transaction at customer service and I had to pull my empty bag out from under my arm and say, "excuse me?" "I just went and did a return, this is an empty bag" and continued my route out the door appalled! and I will not be returning... Never have I been treated in such a way at my local grocery store that made me so furious that I refuse to ever return again.

4/8/2021Ok someone gets a big thank you for putting a new usbank atm inside the store.This has saved me from wasting gas and my time from traveling to other location in Port Orchard.Thank youAs of 2/1/2022 I went into the store and us bank and atm is gone..thank you..now I dont have to complain and I get the pleasure of drive across town now to the other Albertsons in Port Orchard..thank you us bank.Just a heads up, this atm has constant downtime, and the branch has been closed.Branch still closed..atm good, thank you. 1/24/2022

I walked in, asked about the $5.99 chicken Monday and was given an entire run around. I was just trying to feed myself and my two granddaughters, and asked a simple question about the chicken tender meal. I was HUNGRY and just wanted some chicken and jojos but after trying to communicate for like 10 minutes, I just left, frustrated. I don't usually make bad reviews, but I am so upset, I don't think I will ever come back here.

Went to pick up a prescription and it was out of stock. Doctor switched prescription to a equivalent and it's not filled after a day. Tried to call ahead to check if it was filled and they didn't pick up the phone during business hours. Not impressed with the pharmacy! We'll need a third trip to fill 1 prescription!

The staff is great (5 stars)at this location. If anyone ever goes out of their way to help you make sure you point it out to the manager and they will be rewarded. The new setup/ floor plan at the store makes me want to go elsewhere.

Had a worker here make fun of special needs people in front of me and when i asked for a manager to let him know of the outrageous behavior the manager continued to tell me that i have to leave the store. Wouldn't acknowledge what was being told to him about his workers inappropriate behavior or anything. The manager was a guy named SHANE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE IN A MANAGER POSITION OR POSITION IN POWER IF HE IS INCAPABLE OF HANDLING HIS OWN WORKERS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANOR TO KEEP THE PUBLIC HAPPY AND FEELING SAFE TO SHOP AT THIS LOCATION.

This store has been totally remodeled, updated, and rebranded as Safeway Sidney Meadows. Corporate headquarters in Idaho (perhaps with its corporate owner in Florida who's trying to unload Albertson's/Safeway in a merger deal with Kroger) were given the go ahead. Out of the three Safeway/Albertson's stores in Port Orchard alone, this store is clearly meant to be the crown jewel. It looks like one of the other two stores is intentionally being starved to kill it off. That's my opinion from how it looks to me.'m impressed. The corporate powers took a middling store with no identity and transformed it into an openly-inviting grocery store that's pretty well-stocked with many items--with some glaring omissions. More on that later.I've talked to a few employees and they're very happy with the new look and feel of the store. Things just seem easier and it's a better place to work. I can feel that vibe when shopping there.But the big problem with Albertson's/Safeway remains that all store orders are handled at the corporate level. Store managers have told me they can request certain items be sent to the store, but outside of that, regional management determines what items are shipped to each store. Some of my favorite products are omitted. One example is my beloved Philadelphia Salmon Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Spread. Safeway/Alberton's carries a bunch of flavors EXCEPT for the smoked salmon. Why? I don't know. The Fred Meyer/Kroger store in town has plenty on its shelf. What about Alden's Organic Ice Cream (out of Oregon)? Safeway/Albertson's closed out the entire line. But again, Fred Meyer carries it. So, while SW is my preferred store, I have to shop at FM occasionally to buy the items that my favorite grocery store chain refuses to carry. Why? I don't know--ask them. Maybe it has something to do with cost control prior to closing the merger deal?Which the federal government may not allow to BE closed. If Kroger buys Albertson's, it will have a monopoly on the four supermarkets in town, leaving only Wal-Mart as the non-Kroger option--and I never shop at Wal-Mart.But the bottom line is that this Safeway has become a really nice store to shop in. Many of the employees are happy and friendly. There are still empty shelves in some areas which could be corporate-caused or supply-chain issues--who knows? To summarize, for my rating three stars goes to the store itself, the fourth star is for the cashiers and courtesy clerks who've made the checkout process actually fun.

I went to Albertsons in Port Orchard because I remember the old Albertsons stores used to have good prices boy have they changed.Every aisle I went down was overpriced I ended up doing some shopping there because I drove out of my way to get the good prices I will not go back to the store because everything is so overpriced. I don't know the employees or enough about their mannerisms to critique them but they seemed friendly enough. I did notice the parking lot had a lot of electric car charging stations but interestinglee enough I didn't see any handicap spots in the parking lot I did look around pretty good. I do no for sure there weren't any by the front entrance. I'll stick with the local Safeway. I used to do my shopping at QFC but their prices have gotten out of control also. It seems like a lot of stores the food quality has gone down. But the prices continue to rise. More than likely I won't go back to Albertson's in less it's unavoidable.

Every single time I come here, 9/10 Strawberry cases have white mold growing due to improper refrigeration.This has been an issue for a very long time. They finally got rid of the cardboard underneath that would block most of the cold air. But still, tons of white mold and discolored strawberries out for sale next to the other fruit!!!I know for a fact they wouldn't buy these themselves .

I like Safeway. Maybe not YOUR store (cuz it's not Albertson's anymore, lol) but it is A store, and that works! But, truth be told, Safeway has the best ground hamburger of any other grocer. It is one of the main reasons I started shopping at Safeway.

The prices have greatly increased. It appears they inflate the prices and put the items on sale. It's obviously inflate the price on the buy one get one for free. Produce is overpriced.

Horrible pharmacy. I got my wisdom teeth pulled. Was trying to get a prescription.They said no. My insurance wasn’t accepted neither is my ID.All valid. I work at a grocery store for gods sake in Seattle.I rolled my eyes also called district.xoxo

Awesome!! Competitive prices!!! The only store with fresh bakery products. Mostly everyday!!!! Even little bread rounds. They go the extra mile and even slice your fresh bread if you ask!!!!

I enjoy the people that work here. There cheap chicken on Monday is great. I get three bag's and it lasts us 4 day'sAlbertsons is being turned into a Safeway ☹️ I DO NOT like it at all. The prices have gone up up in some items by $2 to $3 dollars. I'm very disappointed. But there cheap chicken Mondays are still a bargain.This Albertsons has officially changed to Safeway. I'm still not expressed that it's become a Safeway.

I love this particular Albertson's because of the workers. They all go above and beyond to help and they are fast. Food is pretty good, get my meats here. Never been treated ill. The managers are very sweet and show the best customer service I've had the blessing to encounter. Thank you all.
