I went into the Safeway deli for some vegetarian eggrolls. The deli clerk put three large eggrolls in a bag, I asked her if she was sure that they were the vegetarian ones (I’ve had them before and they’re small) she assured me that they were. I took two bites and thought they tasted weird, ripped it open and sure enough there was chicken inside. I went back into the deli and showed them that they given me chicken eggrolls. They were confused on which ones were which. I haven’t eaten meat in fifteen years so I was extremely upset. I didn’t ask for anymore food, I just walked out. You’d think out of public safety, you should know what you’re serving people. I’ll never go to any Safeway deli again.

The store seems clean enough......but then I entered the bathroom. Terrifying at best.....the door was unbelievably gross. Smelled of urine. Just. So. Unbelievably. Dirty. Honestly don't think corporate has inspected these restrooms in 35-45 years!!!!Meat looks fresh. Produce looks good and employees are friendlySafeway used to be my go to.But now their prices are TOO HIGH.Stopped for convenience. Kroger's digital deals are better and I earn fuel rewards faster.

Safeway Chinese food isn't what it used to be. The prices for the quality of food don't equal up. It's worth spending the extra money to get good Chinese food.

As a kid mom shopped exclusively at Safeway. As an adult I pretty much did the same. Sadly the Port Orchard Safeway on Bethel has ruined that! Their Express Special takeout is often inedible and now day to day food items are less than stellar as well. A gallon of milk that was spoiled in three day two weeks ago. Rotten grapes last week and now an avocado bought last night found to be rotten this morning. What the hell is going on over there?

Why did I have to stand in line for my prescription to find out your system was hacked and my insurance information is compromised? In addition; I’m indefinitely unable to use my insurance for my prescription and have to either pay out of pocket or have it transferred or wait until you fix your problem? Bad deal Safeway!!

Great selection, quality fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, and other food items. Very friendly staff. An enjoyable place to shop, and this is from a person that hates to shop for food. They have a pick up and go service which is very convenient, if you just want to pick up your order and be done with it. Delivery to your home is also available.I should comment that I have always been given the "Red Carpet" treatment from all the employees. Super group of people at Safeway. They always make me happier than when I came in. Because of how much I enjoy grocery shopping (I don't), my rating for my local Safeway says a lot.

This establishment is probably one of the last places in town that features a public restroom that you can go in all by yourself and lock the door. Once inside you immediately realize why nobody else does this anymore. Always gross and evidence of drug use but I hate when stores don’t have a bathroom.They lose a star having some issue that prevents me from getting a money order half the time and and I don’t appreciate having to get on the app to receive certain prices.

Some creepy employee was stalking me while I was here the other day, to the point where I couldn't even finish my shopping because he made me so uncomfortable. I've already filed a complaint with corporate HQ because I deserve to have a safe shopping experience as a paid customer

First, the store is really clean compared to what it was years ago. The cheese selection is amazingly good compared to the other local grocers.The customer service was OUTSTANDING! I had a few questions and need help reaching a couple of things. I asked for help, and because I was in a motorized cart, due to leg surgery, I pretty much got a personal shopper to follow me around and reach stuff.

So.. @Safeway How you gonna advertise a meal for $8.99, and then charge your customer(s) .99 more for an included advertised item, and then direct your CSR's to tell customers Sorry, the "Pot Stickers" don't come with the meal due to a "Policy Change". Without first changing/modifying your posted signage to notify your customers? Literally not even a sticky note. Was it because management didn't want to waste the budget they used on your new signage? Bait and switch much Safeway? Posting for the little guy that wont. 2 stars because the food was hot, and the CSR Rep was polite, but you don't get credit for their efforts.

Google identifies this as "Safeway"It is obviously "The Grey Gull" in Ocean Shores, WA. This was a postpandemic trip to celebrate my 20 year old granddaughter's ongoing recovery from severe brain trauma. It was a perfect place to get away and enjoy the beach. The Grey Gull has been our "go to place" for 30 years. We just got home and are already looking forward to our next trip.

The staff was unhelpful and acted like they were sucking lemons. A rude and scary person parked in the fire lane blocking the ramps, which was a huge problem for me because I am disabled I could not resolve the situation. I asked for management. She was indifferent. I had issues with trying to find things and how to use the check out while traveling a Styrofoam box and a pumpkin. If I saw a customer of mine, struggling like that with a shopping cart, the first thing I would do is run to them with a smile and offer to help I’m in retail so I know how this works. I will never shop at the store again.

Define this store to be one of the greatest in our neighborhood. Philip the store manager is probably one of the kindest gentleman in the world. He actually donated ice cream to the veterans administration over at retsil transitional housing, a number of different times. I love you guys and I'll continue shopping with you and you only. Tuesday March 21st 2023 your butcher went above and beyond to help me get fresh dog bones. You were out both in the freezer and meat shelves. He stopped what he was doing and went and cut me fresh ones. Kudos to this butcher who put the customer first. Do not know his name but he is an exemplary employee of Safeway. I got one happy standard poodle because of him👍🐾

Used to be my go-to store. That was until the stopped manning the checkout lanes at night. I’m there usually around 7:45 and every lane is closed and they make you self check. Oh TS only a matter of time before I’m unpacking their shipments too….I don’t mind self check when it’s my choice or when I have an item or two, but with a cart full and when I have no other choice it’s really aggravating. Especially when the plastic bag thing isn’t functioning and you have to set up each bag. I never applied for Safeway so I’m done working there.

There is no real reason to shop at this store, when Walmart is rite behind in the next parking lot over. I stopped in here to get some things, those items were priced $2-$3 more than Walmart, Hell even Fred Meyer has better bargains, the manager refused to even price match.. if u want better deals and discounts SAFE WAY is not the place u want to shop at..

I really like this Safeway store. Though I live in Port Orchard, it is not where I shop on a regular basis; but this mainly because I live on the other side of town, with several other grocery stores more easily accessible to me. What brings me to this Safeway store is typically that I can't find something (like a specific brand) elsewhere. The produce here is top notch. Their frozen vegan department is far superior to others! In general, I have always had an easy time finding what I want in stock, an excellent selection and great customer service!

Made an order for chicken 3 hours ago come to pick up and they haven’t started on it. Waited and other people getting their order. 39 minutes later asked about my order and they said sorry I’m going to start frying it now. Like wow

I went for the sole purpose of the deli Chinese food. The rice was dry, tasteless garbage. The chow mien was disgusting and dry. I understand it's cheap deli food but edible would be a plus.
