The staff of the pharmacy was very nice, but they refused to give us a single dose of my wife seizure medication to prevent her from being hospitalized, as the insurance company is been giving us hoops to jump through for 5 days and still hasn't approved it. They told me that it was in part because it is their managers day off and only their manager could approve giving me a single dose to protect my wife from hospitalization. How does a pharmacy run open hours withpit giving the staff power to help!

I would give this store zero stars if I could, due to extremely rude customer service and several other issues. Despite spending $43.98, the treatment I received was far below acceptable industry standards. The store's operating hours are also misleading—they close at 10 PM, not 11 PM as expected, causing inconvenience. Additionally, the checkout process was inefficient, further diminishing my shopping experience.Comparatively, I’ve always found Walgreens staff to be friendly and attentive, often reminding me of coupons and offers— a stark contrast to this store's service. I strongly believe the community would benefit more from this space being repurposed, perhaps into a gas station, where customer service might meet or exceed expectations. Overall, a disappointing experience that could significantly improve with a customer-focused approach

There is a pharmacist guy who works in this pharmacy which he is never helpful or do any good customer service . I go here for my meds for 6 years and I never had any problem until this new pharmacist start working here .His answer is “ your med is on back order .”“ your doctor didn’t send us paperwork .” He needs to be let go 🙁

This pharmacy is a joke. They never answer their phones. They’ll put you on hold (without even asking you to hold) and then they don’t even take your call after several minutes waiting on hold. This isn’t just a rare occurrence either this happens all the time. So you can’t reach them, you go in, and what do you see? Employees laughing and talking story with each other, ignoring the lines of customers, not answering the phones, looking at their OWN PHONES. I come to pick up a prescription and get told there’s nothing there, the next day I’ll get a phone call telling me come pick it up it’s the last day. Seriously. If you have a life threatening condition you take medication for, DO NOT TRUST THIS PHARMACY TO FILL YOUR MEDICATIONS… Everytime I’ve come in there’s just one girl running back and forth doing a million things. When she’s working the counters that’s the only time I don’t wait in line for 30min. And she’s literally the only one who treats me like a human being. Her name is Diane. But when she’s not working the counters she appears to be the only one answering phones. The other workers usually don’t even say hi just “date of birth?” as soon as I walk up. No one else back there has a clue or a care in the world… I see them sitting on their lazy a$$es. The other day I came in and waited at the counter for help and the heavier set girl Brenda was too busy finishing her story about a customer she hates and in her own words ‘needs to get a life’. Everytime I see her she’s yelling and complaining about customers. Even if she is waiting on me she is having conversations with the other people and yelling and complaining like I’m not right there. They always say “we’ll be right with you” and then they just go back to laughing and telling their stories to each other while you wait. They act like you’re inconveniencing them by showing up to pick up your medication as if that’s not how they have a job. I really hate coming here but my old pharmacy stopped taking my insurance. Do better RiteAid. And clean the plexiglass at your front counters they’re gross.Edited to add- if you ever need help finding something don’t even bother asking the pharmacy. They are too lazy to learn where anything is.

Absolutely the worst of all rite aid stores.Consistently mixing up med orders and dosages. I could have taken 4x the amount of medication had I not noticed and had serious health ramifications. They didn't seem to acknowledge there kistake or apologize.

I don't know why this pharmacy has a drive thru when they can never staff more than one person covering the inside counter & the drive thru.If you have such staffing problems just close the drive thru, at least then you don't have cars waiting for more than 30 min to get help while they leave to help the customer that just walked up inside. Makes no sense ....Also, several times when this has been the case it was Cecilia working this individual seems especially slow at getting already filled prescriptions, as it can easily take her 15-20 min just to help one car with 1-2 prescriptions, waiting 30 min with only one car in front of me is just silly, & this has happened several times with her.

This Rite Aid use to be amazing. I don't know what has happened but that pharmacy has gone from the best to the worst pharmacy I have ever seen. My scripts were sent in 6 hours before they close. I give them a while and hear nothing so I call 4 hours before close to make sure I can get my meds. He tells me not until tomorrow..........you mean I have to have a horrible night, wake up and go to work, work all day and finally get my medicine over 24 hours later as I sit here dying and not able to breath with bronchitis but I sure bet 100 of those pain pill scripts they are really filling those people don't truly need ... Absolutely sick of this place!!! Anyone know a better pharmacy in town????

I switched to Rite Aid because the pharmacy at Albertsons had problems every single time I tried to refill my dog's seizure meds. On the plus side, Rite Aid always has the meds in stock. On the down side, the call-in refill system is absolute garbage. I always call a few days in advance for refills. The call-in system tells me it will be ready on a certain day and time. I go in, and it isn't ready. Last time it was because they needed to call my vet and get authorization, but instead of calling in advance, they called shortly before I was due to pick up the meds. Of course my vet couldn't drop everything and fax them an authorization in time. So I called them from the pharmacy and asked them to expedite the fax. I went to do other errands, during which time my vet faxed the authorization. An hour later, I'm back and the fax from my vet is sitting there ignored and Rite Aid wants an additional hour to count out the pills. What is the point of calling ahead? If there is a problem with my prescription, that would be the time to let me know, NOT when my dog is out of his medication. I'm extremely annoyed with this inefficient system.

Was told to wait 30 min just to price a prescription, There was no one in the pharmacy waiting and no one at the drive through. Then I was told to come back in forty five minutes to pick it up still with no one waiting. When I did come back the price was twice as high as they had quoted me. When I asked for my prescription back I was then rudely told I had to waiting instead of just them giving it back to me. The young woman had dropped off was incredibly rude

I've never had a good experience with this store. Always leave not happy. Either they are trying to charge a rediculous fee. Like Syringes. They are like $2.00 without my insurance I start using insurance. Bam $12.00 I said no way. They deleted transactions and reentered them guess what $2.00 and I've called at least 8 times with no answer. My response when I ask is we are short staffed..lol so I guess the customers on the phone Are not important. Well today was the last straw. My Testosterone is 6 for $30 they charged me $53 they said they can't order generic Testosterone anymore. So an extra $23 everytime to go through Rite aid. Un not worth it. But customer services unfortunately are not good anymore. But bad customer service and extra money. Goodbye.

I was so disappointed with our experience at this pharmacy today. It took 8 hours, 4 visits and 2 phone calls to get one prescription filled. The woman at the window was incredibly rude and not helpful at all. I would highly recommend going to a different pharmacy in the area. This experience made an already stressful day so much worse.

Worst pharmacy in WA state.I have to change to Walgreens or something. The quality of the pharmacy has tanked in the last year. This is beyond covid stress and staffing. They just actively are worse at everything a pharmacy is supposed to do than they were a year ago.

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to!! They have no phone etiquette they put you on hold without even saying hello or could they put you on hold. They have extremely high wait times to fill prescriptions it could be anywhere from 1 hour to two days and that’s after the doctor has sent in the prescription. Twice it has happened where I asked if my prescription was in they said it would be an hour wait and when I go there the next day it still hasn’t been filled and then they say it will be another hour to fill.They are very rude and unprofessional and I have worked in a pharmacy before as a tech and would have never treated anyone the way they treat their customers. I chose this pharmacy because it had a drive thru and with covid going on I was trying to stay safe but I will be taking my business to Walgreens across the street instead. Just want to warn people that this is a terrible store and to avoid it.

I love how they are open until 10pm on weekdays, However, upon arrival around 8pm we drove to the pick up window. The window appeared to be closed for the evening. We read, it states"push botton for service. >we proceed. (Rinse) and repeat 5x later. Nothing! I proceed to dial the store number (yes I'm being LAZY, picking up my MOM'S medication she recently was discharged from Hosp. Non stop care. Love is patient love is kind. It is my turn. She raised me right!) Asked if PHARMACY was open, ya need to go in at this time. I go in, I inform PHARMACY tech of misleading window info and suggested an update, not to mention 2 sec it would have taken to intercom us at window saying gotta come in, as being ignored is not a good feeling. The techs response was less than desirable and highly disrespectful. Ok bad day ? COME ON PORT ORCHARD LETS HELP EACH OTHER BRING BACK SMILES AND SUPIRIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.LOVE AND HUGS,TEE N EMM

I've had two instances of great service at this location in the last two months after having had to walk out of another Rx across the road. The people here have gone out of their way to make for a good experience and make sure I got the meds I need in a timely manner. After 30+ plus years with another Rx that was frustrating, I am now a full convert to Rite Aid. Thank you to the entire team on Bethel in Port Orchard

Rite Aid pharmacy in Port Orchard Sucks. The drive thru has not been open for months, they say it's because they can't find anybody to work but I go there late at night and they have 4 people working. I have seen that drive thru open many times with only 3 people working in the past. They are just lazy. Tonight I go there after checking the hours, says they are open until 10pm but when I get there at 8:30 they are closed. Poor management and lazy staff can't even update their hours. Changing to Walgreen.

Today, May 3rd 2021 around 445pm Pacific, 2 cashiers were operating the 3 pharmacy registers, one woman in the middle register and one on the right register with 3 people in line. Meanwhile there's about 6 or 7 other people in the back of the pharmacy. Upon completing a transaction, the woman promptly stepped away from the counter and ran out of the Rite Aid exclaiming "I gotta go, my kids"Not only was this unprofessional in the sense that she left the other cashier to operate 2 registers and help 2 customers at a time, it was ALSO unprofessional in the sense that she ran out like a bat out of hell in front of a store full of customers.If you can't stay at work for your full shift and do your job, helping customers AND take care of your kids either:a. Don't have kidsORb. Don't work.Your children are NOT the customers' problem NOR do you deserve special treatment because you have children.Oh and the drive thru is massively inefficient, taking 10 to 15 minutes PER CAR. If every drive thru at every business operated like that, NOTHING would get done in the world. If the long wait time is because of covid testing, the testing should be happening inside leaving the drive thru available for people who actually have places to be.It seems inside or outside, this store doesn't want to operate efficiently.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but this is warranted. We showed up to the pharmacy for pre-scheduled flu vaccines. Due to lack of any signage, we stood on the "pickup" line for 20 minutes before getting to the window where we learned that vaccine people are supposed to go to the "dropoff" window. Despite having booked all four appointments from 5-6 pm (family of four), we still had to wait an additional 30 minutes to get the shot despite bo one being ahead of us in line. There has to be a better way to do this that increases revenue for the store and doesn't waste consumers time. At the very least, put a sign up.

Went to get our child a covid test so she can return to school. Pulled up to drive in and was big line . By the time we got up there the lady helping us must have got bored. She gave us the swab and tube and rests her head On counter did not watch or catch up on work just took quick nap.

So normally I don't have any issues with this pharmacy. I actually love it. But today, I got an automated call about one of my medications that said it couldn't be filled today and that it can be filled on April 10th. Well, today is April 10th. So it was conflicting information and I was confused. So I called and the girl who answered the phone was super rude and snippy with me. I mean, I had a legit question. And she hung up on me while I was in the middle of speaking. Her name is rhiannon. I know they are busy with covid shots but that's no excuse to treat a customer who has a legitimate question about a medication. If she can't handle her job, maybe she should find another.

I was picking up medicine for whatever crud it is I'm fighting, and was just tested for covid yesterday (negative!). As you go through the drive thru pharmacy, on the pick up window there is a sign that reads: "Need something quick? Just ask!" With photos of tylenol, OTC meds, things that you could grab in the store. The gal was very unhelpful. All I asked for was tissues and decongestant. She told me she wasn't able to help me and that I just needed to come inside.... AS I'M PICKING UP MEDS BECAUSE I'M SICK, DURING A PANDEMIC.Yeah, sure. Thanks for the stellar service. And for not saving my insurance on file the first two times I gave it to you. What. A. Joke.

Waited over 3 hours on multiple occasions an lack of communication between employees an other locations. The line is extremely long. There's an issue to get my prescriptions an my husband's every time we go in now besides waiting extremely long wait times. Used to be my favorite pharmacy.

This review is for the phone number. I attempted to call the store and it kept sending me to the pharmacy only. You have to wait through the pharmacy updates, hours and other BS just for it to finally say "press 2 to speak to a store associate". They should consider separate numbers for the store and pharmacy.
