If I could give no stars I would! Their website is very misleading and lead me to believe they were a wholesale seller by advertising cases of 6 cages for a certain price then when I get them in I only received single cages for that price so I call and the guy on the phone proceeds to mock me and say did you really expect to pay that price for 6 cages? Well yes I'm a retailer and that is the price I normally pay for 6 from a wholesaler and he says we'll I'm not a wholesaler well if that's the case they need to change their website and stop advertising like they are!

Amazing small little business. They take wonderful care of the birds that live there. Very knowledgeable and so kind. I love to visit and spend time with the birds, makes me so happy. They have great things to purchase for your birdies as well :) Always love going here.

I would give 0 stars if possible. All of the cages were in awful condition. Just walking in you could tell the cages hadn’t been cleaned for a while, the smell and dust hurt my lungs. There was only 4 birds out on the floor and the fact that it was that disgusting is shocking. Birds should not be kept in this condition for any reason, especially when they advertise boarding birds. Thankfully I’m just passing through and won’t have to go to this store again but I feel so awful for the birds that are housed in these conditions!

I went today, and was very surprised. I read the yelp reviews, and I had been scared. A green cheek conure went onto my shoulder and would not come off. The owner is kind and nice, and told me a great place to get a bird from. (A breeder btw)It was not stinky, but was a small store. The pawn shop that shares the place is 1/4 of the shop, but then again it's a small shop.I would recommend for wanting to be around birds if getting one for the first time, but not recommending for food. Those prices were a bit insane.Sweet birds, and I will be coming back soon!

Absolutely wonderful business. Tom is so helpful and kind and the birds are well loved. I take my cockatiel here any time we're out of town, and it's great knowing that he'll be watched over by someone who knows how to care for birds. The rescue birds are friendly and love visitors, and it's good knowing that they're well taken care of by the staff and volunteers.

I have wanted a parrot for a long time but I needed to do my research to see if I would be able to be a good parent. Yes, the store needs some TLC but, I have been in several times. .my . each time the owner answered my many questions. The.parrots all looked .healthy and very alert. Quite a few were cruising outside their cages. I know now I want a bird and will be able to care for it. My thought appreciate the effort. The owner is making to provide a safe loving atmosphere and help him build his volunteer crew. I will continue to support this small local business.

I’m completely horrified by the conditions in this place. Cages crusted with food and feces, birds that were dirty and crammed in too-small cages. It flat out stank. They had a blue and gold and a severe macaw in the same cage together, and it wasn’t fit for anything bigger than a single African grey if I’m generous. Plus there’s a coin seller in half the store so everything is crammed in together.I have seen someone named Todd responding to reviews from a year ago saying the mess is because he can’t get in volunteers. I realize the pandemic made it hard, but there are no restrictions anymore. If it isn’t feasible to maintain these cages and it’s been this way for a year or more, it is time to stop accepting birds and reduce the number in your care. Everyone acts like rescues are above reproach but this looks more like a hoarding situation.

To all the bad reviews, animal sanctuaries take a lot of work and cant be done by one person. Hes clearly giving that store everything he has if you truly want to see the animals be in better conditions, then you volunteer and help, not write bad reviews and waste his time and energy that he can be using to help the birds by making him read and reply to it. I really hope that someone who reads this volunteers cuz I would if I could but I live too far away.

Bad service. I ordered an item from their website and waited for 2 months for it. After the first month I emailed them to ask when it would ship and they never replied. I also left a voicemail they never responded to. They eventually cancelled the order without sending me a notification saying it was cancelled. I never should have wasted my time waiting and should have just bought from a big-box retailer with reliable service

My daughters have both wanted to visit this store for awhile as they are avid bird lovers and we own several birds. Todd was both knowledgeable and personable and a joy to speak to. We will be back!

Purchased a large coffea wood floor stand for $566+free shipping from online shop and received order confirmation after a couple hours. No shipping confirmation or any communications afterwards, however, the price of same floor stand marked up from $566 to $844 instantly. Called them more than 5 times, all calls transferred to voice mailbox and never call back. After 4 days, the order got cancelled due to staff shortage. Fortunately, I got my money back but very disappointed and will never buy anything from them.

I found Port Orchard Parrots I want to say back in 2008. I have a 12 year old blue and gold macaw....I needed someone to trim her nails and clip her feathers. My first experience was wonderful and Cappie came home a happy bird. Over the years I have boarded Cappie every summer for 3 weeks...the occasional weekends when I needed to get away.In a nutshell they are awesome 😆 the 1st thing you see and feel is the love they have for all the critters.Best place for your feathered friend!

I thought initially that it was a pawn shop... and when I walked in, neither person looked up. I don't think they knew I was there. However, the parrots ALL looked well-cared-for and healthy! There were also a LOT of interesting coins and one tray of jewelry in which I found what I was looking for.

This place was a joke. They got told me I had to volunteer before I could adopt a bird. I was trying to suprise my girlfriend with a bird since she stays home. I don't have time to volunteer at this guys shop. I work 60 hours a week
