Olde Central Antique Mall is located in the old Central Hotel Building in downtown Port Orchard, so it's a perfect place to house an antique mall.Most people only notice the items for sale, but I am enamored with the historic value of the building itself, noticing the original layout of the rooms that used to host guests. I find it fascinating!The mall consists of many different cubicles operated by different vendors selling their own unique finds that are paid for at one central location downstairs.It's one of my favorite places to find unique gifts for myself and others.There are a few other antique shops in Port Orchard, so treat yourself and make a day of it.

Yelp should let you give zero stars. This place doesn't deserve even one.Okay. Still shaking as I just returned home from that place. But at least I can see I'm not the only one. Maybe I should've checked before going here.Do you always mock those with a disability?!?I was just in there with my friend and I had four small dessert plates. And I even showed them to my friend who saw the same price. When we got to the register where it was brighter and easier to see, I noticed there was smaller blue writing on the top and bottom of the big red "6".The gentleman (I assume he's the owner and if so his name is Bobbie Stewart) because I can't imagine any employee lasting with an attitude like that. He removed one price tag and started to do the others but I caught that there was additional writing. He basically chastised me for not knowing that the big red six indicated the merchant number. Telling me that all tags have the price on the top with the sale price on the bottom and the merchant number is in the middle. I explain to him that I had vision problems. He went on mumbling angrily at me. I was apologetic, telling him that I was sorry, I have a disability causing me chronic pain that worsens my eyesight at times. He remarked… Well it's easy! ... rolling his eyes at me.And my friend and I travel all over the Kitsap peninsula to antique shops looking for items for her business. And we document our travels on social media. Yesterday I received my loan for my own business and it will never be spent here. Not a dime.

Like walking through history. Books, dolls, fishing gear, furniture, wood working tools, vintage glass wear, lanterns, even an old self-playing piano! Lots of natural lighting through the huge windows.This place has it all!

Best antique mall ever! There are hundreds of books and crannies to explore. Each one with its own personality and flavor. Genuine antiques, some just fun old stuff. This place is beautiful and brightly lit.The women who run the shop are sweet and kind. Seriously, my favorite place to explore!

Wasn't impressed. Prices are ridiculous. Way too expensive for what they're selling. The items may be antique, but they're still way too high priced. I won't recommend them.

I love visiting this antique Mall. Iv been shopping here since I was 15. I always find unique Christmas gifts. I love that the building used to be a hotel.

Took my family from out of town to browse around and everyone was having a very nice time. My husband found some sports card that he wanted to purchase. I hadn’t planned on getting anything and had no cash on hand. The man rang us up and I presented my debit card and he wouldn’t take it. I asked if it was okay to use a card (very understandable if purchases for lower amounts required cash. But I didn’t see a sign that stated that). He was extremely annoyed and in a huff agreed. He turned around and started making disgusting remarks about my ‘generation never having cash..’ and being all around extremely rude. After I heard his disgusting remarks I demanded my card back and he was extremely hesitant to give it back. If you are bothered by me using a debit card for a small purchase…maybe make that your policy and post it somewhere. Don’t turn around and make rude comments and act like you’re better than someone over 4.00.

It's a great place. Lots to see and the prices are great. I wish they changed more often than they do. I've been coming here for 3 years and I feel like 90% of what I see was there the first time I went. Otherwise, it's still worth revisiting.

I loved this store! I could've stayed for much longer but the hubby was waiting. 😄 Air conditioning and a little bathroom! Next time I'll check out the upstairs!

Lots of variety, so much to see. Though we were there an hour and 20 minutes, we never even made it to the 2nd floor! Prices were mostly reasonable. The ladies at the register were very nice. A good place to wander or kill some time...with all that stuff, there has to be something for everyone.

While I felt the store itself was nice, had a nice selection and reasonable prices, one of the clerks there was very rude. After purchasing an item I thought we could go out the back door and she just said "No, No, No!". I told her there was no need to get angry about it and walked out. The other 2 clerks were very pleasant. This angry lady needs to take a lesson from them in customer service. 03/31/17

We spent hours here browsing, then buying. There's so much to see and something for everyone. Upstairs and downstairs vintage and antique items. Lots of sales in various booths. Friendly ladies to help with items in locked cases. We will be back! Thank you. :)

We were there this Sunday night. They close at 5pm. We found an item we wanted to buy and left it at the counter for check out. At 4:55 they announced they would be closing. We happened to be at one of the booths right near the register. When the 4:55 was announced we walked over to pay for our item. The women at the cash registered said in a very rude way, "you'll need to wait. Were closed. I'm already doing the deposit. We didn't even know you were here". Even though we were not the only customers in the store AND we were next to the register are looking at items. She then finished counting money, then puts it in the office, THEN starts counting change in the cash register. Mean while we're standing there waiting, while two other workers were just milling around. After waiting, watching in shock and then waiting some more. I had to say something about the horrible customer service and how rudely the women had spoken to us. Needless to say we walked out without purchasing the item, because of how we were treated.

They do have a fair bit of interesting inventory here, but the employee I encountered (I assume the owner, but no idea) when I visited was pretty rude.My wife and I were new to tPort Orchard and had friends visiting from out of town so we took them down to the waterfront for lunch, and decided to peruse the local shops afterward. At this antique mall, we found several items we liked and did purchase them, but when I asked the employee whether the silver butter dish I had asked her to retrieve from a locked display case was solid silver or plated, she said "It's plated. If it were solid silver, you couldn't afford it."Aside from the facts that this butter dish and lid weigh no more than a couple ounces and the price of silver has been hovering around $16-17/ounce for some time (making my purchase an easily affordable $35-50 tops even at the high end), this would have been a horribly rude way to treat a customer even if she had good reason to believe that statement were true.One of our guests had also found a record she wanted, then found the same record in better condition in another part of the store, so she went to return the first record to where she found it and with a less-than-friendly tone and approach, the same employee tried to chastise her for putting an item back in the wrong place. When our guest explained what she was doing, the employee offered no apology.We all went ahead with our purchases that day, but although my wife and regularly visit the waterfront and take visitors there from time to time, we always steer clear of this antique mall because of that experience.Three stars because the prices we paid were fair, the store was clean and well-lit, and the inventory seemed interesting, though mostly not very rare or wow-inducing. There are lots of antique stores in Port Orchard, and in my opinion, the one on Mile Hill Drive is much more worthy of exploration.

There’s a lot of interesting things to look at and most of the sellers are reasonable. However, the staff doesn’t seem aware of the fact that everyone can hear them. I “got to” listen to them say some nasty things about customers and it made me reticent to ask any questions. A gentleman asked them if they had something. They didn’t know and when he left, one of them made a snarky comment about how they don’t know what everything is. In the world of antiques, it’s impossible to know everything, but you don’t need to let others know that you have no desire to learn.

I got what I wanted for a fair price. However, that one lady that everyone here seems to talk about was very rude to me as well. I simply asked if they preferred cash or card and the lady said "I don't care, just pay the damn thing." Very rude and not welcoming at all.

I love looking around here cause it's always had something that's popped up at me. Whether I'll buy it or not simply being around all these collectables is worth the trip. Affordable and homey, definitely keeps me revisiting.

I have been a patron of the Antique Mall for about 20 years. I have never had a bad experience with either staff or purchases. It is always exciting to explore the entire mall. I never fail to find a treasure I cherish. Highly recommend

We found the selection to be ample and the prices to be fair. The only issue we had was the courteousness of the lady who checked us out. She seemed demanding and not very friendly. If not for that, than an average shop.

Won't EVER be back. My hip was killing me after climbing the stairs so I sat on the step, out of the way. I was told to sit outside. In the cold, wet January air. I left what I was going to purchase on the stairs.
