3/23: Leaving this review hoping someone will see it. Went here for the first time today and ordered several donuts and a cheese/pastrami sandwich, just to try them out. Every single piece tasted off in some way. (All except those rolled/fried tortillas) The bread on the sandwich was SO salty--saltier than the pastrami itself. The crullers were uncooked/wet in the middle. The long chocolate donuts were NOT sweet and lacked salt, basically flavorless dough. The "Bismark" was chewy, but that may just be personal preference or because we ordered later in the day. I'm hoping whoever baked these just had an off-day or maybe didn't taste test what they were baking, because it's so weird that everything would *taste* so off. We might give this place one more try in the future. Will update this review next time we visit.

I have never had a better chocolate covered cruller ever. Most doughnut places dont even make these, so when I saw it….Had to get one. Soft pillowy inside with a light crisp outside. The chocolate icing was delightful. They really understand how to make dough for sure. If you really want a special treat, go get yourself one of these. They have days where they don’t make raised doughnuts so make sure you call ahead if you’re looking for these.

The name says it all. Delicious donuts, cookies, bread, cakes all made fresh daily. I was impressed with the wide variety.The Friendly staff, Plenty of room to sit, Read the paper visit with friends.Real easy to get in-and-out parking is good.The friendly Baker also recommended calling In your order For those of us who have a busy schedule.The location is right across the road from South Kitsap High school in the plaza.A must try ,,,

LOVE this place. It's got an old school, small-town vibe to it. They have plenty of room to sit and eat too. I order my kids class birthday cookies from here every year. I send them a pic on Facebook messenger (Pokemon, Minnie mouse and unicorns to name a few) and they make them just like the picture or better.

Ordered a custom birthday cake on short notice and was blown away with the results. They were able to accommodate the order during the holidays and the cake came out perfectly. I requested a mossy, mushroom covered themed cake and it looked so good. Everyone at the party absolutely loved it, and it tasted great too! Very moist and flavorful.When I arrived to pick up the cake I was a little early so I also decided to get a half dozen donuts and they were sooo delicious. We got the Boston cream, maple bars (with and without nuts), and classic glazed. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of their donut offerings.

We ordered a cake for our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration: lemon cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. Not only was it delicious and demony, but absolutely stunning! I took an invitation that I had designed and the cake decorator NAILED IT!! This is a female-owned local business in Port Orchard & I highly recommend them!Dietary restrictions: They also made 1 dozen gluten-free cupcakes!!

It's cute, price-friendly, and the donuts, sandwhiches, and bread are fresh.The staff are very friendly. There are some unexpected items for sale, including frozen pizza dough, sandwhiches, and some savory hot items as well. There is an ample selection of juice, milk, soda, and water.Absolutely worth stopping by if you're on the water front and need a quick lunch or sweet snack.

Their cakes, doughnuts, and cookies look amazing and are delectable. Customer service from start to finish is excellent, and the prices are very competitive. Nostalgia is out of the way for me, but I will continue to order my cakes from there because they are simply the best.

I have really enjoyed coming to this bakery every year for both my boys birthday cakes for the passed 6 years. It’s really sad that I won’t be back. Very disappointed in the customer experience and the cake itself. The picture of the cake I originally sent was a large sheet cake- to feed 30-35 people. This cake was very tiny and barely fed everyone. Not the size of the cake I had thought it was going to be. Not to mention I get a call the morning of my sons party that we needed to pick the cake up at a later time because it was not finished. Which I accommodated of course (even though we ordered the cake 4 weeks prior) once we picked up the cake all the figurines fell off and smeared the frosting. $52 for this small cake that barely fed our party of 30-35 people. Sad. We loved this bakery. Very disappointed. I have boughten cakes in the past from here that were much larger for the same price. Time to look for a new bakery! 😢

We finally had a chance to try nostalgia house bakery after hearing about them all these years! Located in the heart of Port Orchard, their bakery is small with several seating areas. I try to stick to classic flavors because you can’t really go wrong there. Lol i placed a phone order and was lucky enough to get a dozen of their assorted flavors. They are so soft and yummy! The flavors weren’t over powering like many other donut shops out there. Definitely a must try but be sure to go in early to get most of their other pastries!

I stopped by Nostalgia Bakery today and got a mix of delicious pastries for the family. We all enjoyed them immensely, you really can’t go wrong with anything you pick out. The service was also warm and friendly, I definitely found my favorite bakery ❤️

Probably one of the best cakes I've ever had in my life. 2 months before my wedding, the bakery I had set up for the big day flaked out and couldn't come through. I called Nostalgia and they stepped up to the plate. Not only did they beat the other company out with their pricing, they OVER delivered on the quality! The red-velvet cake we had was AMAZING and so beautifully made, and the cupcakes we ordered for our guests matched perfectly. We'll keep them in mind for any future events, 100%!

I’m forever on the hunt for a great doughnut, but this is a challenge in the PNW for some reason. Grrrrr.The interior of this little bakery in Pt. Orchard is kind of funky (not necessarily a bad thing) but it’s clean. The baked good cases were small with limited choices, but again, this is not a bad thing per se. I wouldn’t say the layout was particularly mouth-watering or inspiring either, BUT they’re not a chain (hooray!), the service was cheerful/friendly, and while the apple fritter I ordered was small for $3, it was tasty. Solid 3 stars.Despite the bakery being located in a drab strip mall, lots of people came & went while I enjoyed my fritter in the car, so the people-watching was also decent (definitely a win and worth a 4th star). Would try it again next time I’m on the peninsula.

We requested a Halloween themed cake for our daughter's birthday in July. The folks at Nostalgia House Bakery were happy to accommodate, and they went the extra mile with this cake. Our daughter was so happy with the cake. I definitely recommend this bakery for any events.

Was not impressed. Sorry! Thought I might get a birthday cake here after their plea on FB for helping local business during the roundabout construction. They had no cakes ready to purchase, nor did they offer to make me one. The display cases were fairly empty. Don't think I'll be going back. Drove to my favorite bakery in Bremerton, which is McGavin's, for a beautiful and delicious champagne cake!!!! Nothing compares quite frankly!

Had a random stop in at this bakery and wasnt disappointed with quality whatsoever. Not the cheapest donuts but that's not what they are going for as your going to find alot of different varieties you wouldnt see in the grocery store.

A peer suggested Nostalgia bakery one day and got curious if their baked goods are really good. I love donuts and last weekend my spouse and I drove to buy some. Their customer service was great and he gave us a couple of donut holes for us to taste. They were so far the best I've tasted! It melts in your mouth! We bought a dozen assorted donuts and those were really good as well. I want to try their cake too so I'm planning to order one for my dad's birthday soon! :)

The BunCo Dice cake was outstanding 3 different flavors Pineapple the other dice was lemon and the other nice raspberry dice also llama cookies we all enjoyed.I gotta admit I just found my favorite cake bakery
