This is the place to go! The energy in the shop is way different than others I've been in, real positive & upbeat. But not overly cheery & fake. Donna is phenomenal! She's done 1 tattoo & has started to rework another tattoo I have that is a mess & was a horrible experience. I didn't realize how poor some of my tattoos were until I met Donna. Her art is exceptional. She will be my forever artist. I'm so grateful I met Donna. I can't wait for our next appointments.

First, it is important to know a few things. I haven't had a realistic piece in the 10+ years I have been getting tattooed. I met Ben Stanton (@benhawaii) when he first became a customer at a butcher shop I ran. I've always admired the realistic work he has done and collects himself. It is becoming more popular for those of us in the food industry to receive food related tattoos. There isn't anything wrong with them but I never took a liking. The tattoo been gave me is a reminder of the time I lived in New York City. Ironically, it happens to have a food element, an apple. Ben consulted with me through my ideas. There were items that wouldn't have worked for the placement or size of the piece. He guided me into what my options were and how he could still provide me with a piece that I love. In addition Ben took the extra steps to make sure I was comfortable (at least as one could be during a tattoo). I don't trust many tattoo artist but Ben is someone I will return to (in a month to be precise). Ben is obviously passionate about tattooing and professional in the service he offers.

Just had my appointment with Andreah and I couldn't be happier with my experience. She was so friendly and down to earth, really felt like I was getting tattooed by a friend. My experience started on 2/3/18 meeting Dillon Irwin to have a talk about what I was having in mind.The shop was inviting and good energy two things I look for. I and Dillon talked about what we we're going to do and we set up an appointment for the 2/24/18. I had a last minute change of the tattoo on the day of and he was quick to ask what I had in mind and set a new fair price.This was a surprise tattoo for my mom so I took her with me, she loved the energy of the shop right away. Dillon was very open to all the questions me and her had andhe answered them right away.He was all around just an amazing guy. I got along with him very well.He even mixed his tattoo colors to make just the right color my mom wanted for the heart on my tattoo. I'll always come back for more tattoos by Dillon best tattoo artist I've met!Can't say anything bad about my experience.-sean

This is a super clean shop with great artists. I was actually there when a health inspector came in and there were no findings. Rhe inspector was very pleased with the shop. The staff is friendly and I love my tattoo. The shop has a nice waiting area separate from the area where the artists work, so you don't feel like you're on display to anyone who walks in the door. I had a great experience here and will return for my next tattoo!

First impression walking into this shop is how clean it is! It smells clean and looks clean. The artists display their stencil work openly as well as provide photo albums of their tattoos. These guys are true artists! Give them an idea and they will work with you to sketch up exactly what your vision is. Give them free reign to get creative and you will NOT be disappointed! These experts are also skilled in cover ups that blend so well, you can't find any traces of the old tattoo! Dillon easily turned my 25 year old black panther into a gorgeous dragon and tiger! This is where you should get your next tattoo!!

Dillon and Donna are both super rad artists, and they really, really care about the quality of the tattoos they do (unlike a couple other shops in Port Orchard). These two are genuinely kind, and they love what they do. Don't get tattooed by some asshat who does not care about your life-long art and just wants your money. Go to Dillon & Donna.

After doing a bit of research I settled on American Pin-up for my first tattoo. It's a small very sentimental piece that ive been thinking about for nearly 5 years. Wasn't sure they would even do it. Went in and talked to Ben. He listened to what I was after and asked alot of questions to make sure he understood as fully as possible such I absolutely did not expect. He then made recommendations to accommodate what was actually feasible and would look the best and still meet my heart's desire for the outcome. He even stayed a little late to do this for me. It was just before the 20th anniversary of the event for which I wanted the sentimental tattoo. I really appreciated his understanding and valuing my reason. He made it important to him too. He's a REAL artist with thought and emotion and depth behind his work. He even very sweetly told me funny stories to keep my mind off the pain (on my foot)! I absolutely LOVE my little tattoo. The quality even in the smallness is beautiful. It's a sweet reminder of my long time ago sadness and an encouraging reminder that there are people like Ben with compassion who are kind and sincerely empathetic. I very much recommend this shop for the people, the actual customer care and the quality artistry you will receive. The team is just awesome!!! Thank you guys at American Pin-Up Tattoo!

Had a mustache tattoo done by Ben, he had just gotten here from Vegas... I paid $100 each for me and my 2 friends to get mustache tattoos on our fingers. I understand that hand tattoos don't last as long as others, but ours lasted a total of 2 weeks before they scabbed over and completely disappeared. He would not even do a touch up, wanted to charge another $50 each... finally went to Sam off of callow and had mine redone and she said I could come in for one touch up for free. Not saying this is a bad place, but I won't ever return.

I will move to 5 stars when I have more input from my outline apt. So far, everyone was nice and the inside was inviting. The one con that I found was that they can't take card or check. They will take cash and Facebook pay if you know how to do that. I paid the initial down payment in cash and had to take a picture with my phone the cash and store card for proof of payment.

Incredible work from Ben (IG: @benhawaii) proficient and skilled in a variety of styles. Go to guy if you're a long time collector or a 1st timer or anyone in between. Really cares about his work and the art he creates. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a long lasting piece.
