My husband and I have stayed at this resort multiple times, and the prices are always reasonable, especially given the fact that each room has a huge jetted tub and fireplace! The views and scenery are gorgeous even in the winter. It's so peaceful and quiet. The only thing you hear are the birds singing. The service is excellent and I highly recommend this resort!! It's quaint and has the southern charm that will make you feel like you've been transported to The Notebook movie. The only down side is the fact that there aren't many restaurants nearby. There's a Shell, coffee stand and a Mexican restaurant down the road but that's about it. The Firestone at the resort is a great farm to take restaurant but doesn't offer much vegetarian options.

Very nice getaway. Not alot around it nearby but for getting some quiet space and beautiful scenery, it's great. Can take some beach walks or rent a bike or rent a boat or kayak at the marina. There are some fun towns a short 20 minutes away like Port Townsend I would very much recommend visiting. Very cool historical town.Nearby activities: Boat and kayak rental. Hikes. Beach walks. Bike rental.

This was our first trip staying in the Port Ludlow area and it was such a lovely experience. The town is quaint and the area is beautiful. We loved our stay at the resort and have zero complaints. The room was cozy, yet spacious with a nice wet bar area and small fridge. The fireplace was nice for ambiance and the view was so pretty. We stayed in the king room with a view of the marina, and were fortunate enough to have good weather, so the marina view was nice. The jacuzzi tub was just big enough for two and I loved that the tub overlooks the main room. The bathroom is spacious and the separate shower is also large. Bonus, the Fireside restaurant is on the main floor, so you don’t even have to leave the resort during the stay. We really enjoyed everything about our stay.

The rooms are nice, though pretty dated. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, especially Ester and Morgan. The location is great as long as you have a car and/or want to be isolated. The restaurant food is absolutely horrible. Do not eat here unless the ly revamp the menu entirely. The room wasn't very clean but at least the bed was comfortable. The location is pretty and the grounds seem to be well maintained.Nearby activities: There is nothing nearby unless you have a car. The closest anything else is 1.2 miles away, so walkable, but it's just a gas station, a coffee trailer, and a Mexican restaurant.

I stayed two nights a few years ago while I was exploring the area. It was a nice room with a view of the Marina all lit up with Xmas lights. I would stay here again.

My husband and I were given a one night stay as a gift. We can't wait to go back again. It is so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony and just enjoy the beauty and peacefulness, the birds chirping, at night we watched the tide come in, excellent customer service at front desk. They have a restaurant called the Fireside, best to get reservations before you arrive for your stay. Service at restaurant was excellent,,someone noticed my husband's napkin had fallen off his lap and offered a new one. Our server was Robin, excellent. We loved the clam chowder which was on the happy hour menu, also best Mai Tai ever, very strong, definitely not skimpy on the liquor. For our entree we had the burger, very good. We took dessert back to our room, the apple tart and the chocolate cake, both excellent.

Went for lunch after the noon time croud. Order clam chowder. Another couple was seated after us and also ordered clam chowder. They got their chowder before us, and it was the last order of chowder. We waited a long time for the soup to come, and we were told the cooks are warming up your soup. You don't run out of soup. You have to make a new batch. No thanks, bye bye!

This Inn does not have a microwave, coffee pot, or continental breakfast. The price you pay is not worth the stay. I would recommend Paulsbo or Port Townsend. Don't waste your valued dollars here. They don't even have room service. You have to come down to the lobby to get your food that you ordered from the restaurant. I won't be staying here again. I grew up in Port Ludlow, and I'm ashamed of the lack of service and neglect of services they don't provide. Shame on you The Resort at Port Ludlow!!!

Not worth the price. We were unfamiliar with the area and were looking for a place to stay around Port Hadlock last minute. We tried the Old Alcohol Plant Inn but they were booked but suggested Port Ludlow Resort, they called for us and they had one king room left, waterfront view. The room was $399 same day price and it was totally not worth that. Our room was over where the cars pull in (kinda like over a carport) so was noisy. There was barely a water view, more like a view of the parking area with a sliver of water. The room was ok, like a Holiday Inn. TV was very small, chairs were super uncomfortable and there was a spa tub that weirdly opened up to the bedroom. The one cool thing was the view from the little park down by the water. You walk out of the hotel and there's a little coastal trail. There is a really nice totem on the water near the port and the sunset was beautiful, one of the more beautiful sunsets we saw on our OP trip. I wouldn't have felt so bad about it if I didn't pay so much. I kind of felt like I got taken. I just don't think it was worth $450 with tax. In the future I would just drive to Port Townsend and find something more affordable. My fault for booking last minute but at the end of the day it felt waaaay overpriced and I left regretting my stay.

Driving along the Hood Canal and saw this beautiful resort by the marina. We had reservations in Poulsbo, but we had to stop and visit. The resort and restaurant are very lovely and welcoming. All the amenities. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh local produce and seafood. Would be wonderful for a romantic weekend. Amazing area and views. We will definitely be returning here.

Pretty good place to stay. Feels upscale. No AC and they use fans. Comfort is part of the experience so having AC is still important even if you are on the water. Balcony felt super flimsy while walking on.Very quite and beautiful views. We walked to the water and were able to see some crabs and otters.

Our favorite quiet getaway! Just had our first summer visit, and it was a treat to eat on the patio while watching the sun set over the marina. Previous visits in fall and winter did not disappoint though as eating in by the fire is so cozy. The restaurant is one of our favorites, and the rooms are beautiful with spacious, spa-like tubs. Highly recommend.

From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out it was amazing. The front desk employee was beyond nice to us. The room was clean, comfy king bed, the jetted tub was a bit small but made due. The microwave was in the vending room but we made due. The coffee pot was a warmer with coffee bags. The restaurant was to die for. I had the shrimp with spinach and risotto omg the best. The staff was incredible too. A bit pricey but we would stay here again, nice and quiet. Thank you for everything you all did to make our stay magical.

We were pretty disappointed with our stay. We came here for our honeymoon and the location itself was breathtaking. The resort, however, was largely disappointing. The service at the front desk was very rude and service to the rooms was slow. They aren’t servicing rooms during stays, and when you ask for towels they are a bit snarky and slow to actually help. The room was VERY hot and the only fan provided is tiny with so little power that’s it’s laughable. The room also wasn’t the cleanest. The toilet had a tissue in it when we came in, and several of the walls were beat up. The TV was extremely dated (talking early 2000s). Everything at the hotel was expensive. Like $30/hour for a bike rental. For the overall price of the place, we were expecting a lot better. It would be easy to find nicer places with far better service to stay in the area. Give yourself a favor and skip this one. We also stayed at the Inn at Langley and the Westin in Seattle, and they knocked our socks off with how great they were. We were hoping this would also be good but sadly, NOT the case.

Very nice get-away. We visited in the winter and am quite sure it is beautiful in spring and summer! Loved the big tub in the room and walk-out balcony. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was also surprisingly very nice. We recommend the steak!! :)

For starts: I bought a king room, $100 voucher for the Fireside lounge plus a bottle of wine from their cellar. $400+/ one night. Staff n service: very friendly, very accommodating. Fireside lounge: Food was delicious however I requested a table by the fire. There was only one right in front of it and I was told it was reserved but we sat opposite the fire in a mostly empty room and watched the table remain vacant except for all but the last few minutes of our hour+ experience. The room: cute enough but NO, not for the price. Wall heater near the floor that you have to get down on your knees to open the panel to adjust. No door on the toilet to the rest of the bathroom where the only sink is plus the large view doors over the jacuzzi tub that open to the bedroom. No privacy separation. Uncomfortable Adirondack chairs in the bedroom for awkward seating. TV sounds doesn't work half the time, staff says " oh yeah it happens. Just unplug n replug". Really? And COFFEE? A couple of steep-style tea bag coffee packs and a leaky hot pot? Seriously? In Seattle? Look, I'm not Mr. 5-star but for what I shelled out, the details of this place stink frankly. The place is cute, scenery is great but they're getting by on location because their amenities aren't worth their rates.

We spent Labor day weekend at the Inn. It was very restful and quiet. Dog friendly. We enjoyed walking in the area spotting birds, deer, and plants.Safety: This area felt very safe.Walkability: There aren't nearby things to walk to. You will need a car. We stopped and bought water and snacks for the weekend prior to arriving in Port Ludlow.Food & drinks: There's a restaurant at the inn. We had breakfasts and dinners here. So many great meals! Farm to table.

Took an old friend there for birthday lunch. The Fireside is a beautiful setting overlooking the water and the Marina. Great service from our waiter Brandon. Excellent Steak Frite and very good shrimp with risotto I have had in a while. Ambience of this place is wonderful.I’ve held a few parties at the Inn and they do a great catering job as well. Highly recommended

Beautifully appointed rooms overlooking the water. Such a wonderful quaint little spot, it seems like it's an hour away from civilization so you can really get away from it all. Except if you want to eat... you have to make reservations for every meal at the one restaurant on the premises, or order room service, so not a lot of variety. But that is the only complaint. The front desk service is top notch and extremely friendly, it felt like coming home every time we walked through the front door!
