Safeway, Port Angeles, Washington. It’s way safe. Safeway is one of our regional groceries located throughout Washington state. This one is one of the better that I have visited. Good produce section and well maintained. Meat department is also one of the better for this local. The store also includes a great bakery and supplies most major brands.

They have ill placed sensors for their anti theft wheels on their shopping carts. This caused me to tweak my back again when it suddenly stopped. Do not part near the parking lot borders and expect to make it all the way to your car.

Good selection of items that you can't find at Walmart. Overpriced everywhere so check the app for sales. Staff is rude behind the deli, they could use some training on customer interaction, or take up a job where you aren't forced to deal with the general public. As someone who works with the public myself, nothing irks me more than people who go out of their way to act miserable to those around them.

This Safeway is a great grocery store. It is large enough that should be able to find what you need. The quality and appearance of the food is excellent. The store is always clean. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I use the Safeway pick up option for most of my Orders, the team is always so helpful and nice! They really communicate and call you if you didn’t fill out your substitutions properly. They have really come a long way since this service first started, and have improved any little inconveniences in the initial system. Very happy to shop here, the pick up service is great 👌

The fresh produce section was impressive, offering a variety of high-quality fruits and vegetables. The bakery and deli had tasty options for quick bites. Prices were reasonable, and the loyalty program added extra savings. However, checkout lines during peak hours were a bit long. Overall, Safeway provides convenience and quality for all your shopping needs.

Order the 20 piece mixed chicken for my family for dinner. Once we got home we found the chicken was horrible over cooked, dry, and tasted like it had been left in the warmer for over 12 hours. It was disgusting. I have been professionally cooking for years and this was just horrible. I don't know anyone with pride in the craft who would serve this to anyone.Now going on to the general atmosphere, The amount of homeless Lottering outside asking patrons for money etc. is getting out of hand. I always remember loitering being strictly enforced. Apparently at Safeway it's an ok norm.

This was a great place to shop but went downhill fast. It was always a nicely laid-out, really friendly place with quality stuff at reasonable prices and nice weekly sales. Now it's packed much tighter but with many empty shelves and the fewer staff there don't have any time to be friendly if you're stubborn enough to actually be checked out by a person. Meanwhile the prices are now permanently obscene but you can get a few great deals if you're foolish enough to delve into the multilevel "Reward" scheme. I'm only a very little way from the Lincoln Street location and I used to get 80% of my groceries (- a few Costco faves) from there and now I treat Safeway like a convenience store to be avoided except for occasional quick grabs. It's very disappointing to note that now I go to Walmart for similar quality at far better prices and, I never would have thought, a better shopping experience.

Since my disability has gotten worse I am unable to venture out much, infact, when/if I am able to get to the store, I almost always just stay in the vehicle. Update,,, Thanks to my medical team I am able to get around a bit better and Thanks to SAFEWAY for continuing to have disability parking.

Extremely incompetent lady in the deli section. Waited 15 minutes to have 2 sandwiches done, seasoned with a couple coughs aimed directly at my food. The result was as bad as you’d expect. I had to ask for a refund (which I was given).

Shout out to our Cashier, Mickey. Her professionalism & dedication to us as patrons, was phenomenal. We had been incorrectly quoted a certain price over the phone for a meat dept item that we had purchased a large quantity of, & when we went to check out, it became very confusing for all of us on how this could be handled to make the situation fair, so we were all satisfied. We had come quite a distance for this very item. Realizing this, Mickey took the time to figure it all out, & even when it still did not appear correctly in our favor, she summoned a manager & together they both worked it out. It took a bit, but we were so grateful.When an employee takes the time as Mickey & that Manager did to insure we were satisfied customer's...we know that that store is where we want to continue to shop. And we will!Thank you Miss Mickey & whomever that male Manager was that came to our aide. The men’s bathroom at this Safeway is like a crime scene…. The lights are broken, there was no toilet paper, the level of filth on the floor and walls was next gen. Truly awful. Shows the management of this store take zero pride.

Pharmacy really needs to get it together! They tell you a time to pick up ur prescription you show up wait in line for them to tell you it will be another 45 minutes! (Not something someone wants to hear after a long day at work) then after waiting the extra hour the pharmacist was to busy on a personal call (yes I know a personal call she was asking how the kids are laughing and giggling!) to come over to push the key to ok order to help move the line along!

Safeway Starbucks - great job! Young person at cash gave me the best regular no frills cup of pike with cream. You would think you can't mess it up but others have. Great service too - she asked if it was done the way I like it. Made it special.

Best bakery in any of the grocery stores in town but sometimes the staff here can be a little rude late at night. I get that they are tired and want to go home but after a long day I'm tired too and don't appreciate being made to feel like my business is an annoyance. Normally I wouldn't even mention something like this because I know not every employee is to blame for one bad attitude but this has happened here on multiple occasions... maybe they could try letting some of the more cheerful employees work the closing shift instead of those who act like serving customers is such a chore.

They are doing everything & helping everyone. The Corporate is only interested in bottom line. The Corporate is at home on holiday, enjoying family meals.

The supermarket to do your shopping in while you're in the Port Angeles area. Big clean well-stocked chain grocery store with fresh produce, friendly staff, ample parking, and it's own gas station with competitive prices.

Great store good customer service. Have lived close to this location most of my life and have been a patron of the store since I was a child. Many of the long time employees know my family and I by name which makes our shopping experience there that much more enjoyable. I also get my prescriptions filled at their pharmacy and the pharmacy staff is exceptional. They are informative, friendly, and timely. I love this store!!
