This store is well organized and there is something for any pet you have. Tractor Supply recently aquired them so I hope to see more wholesale options. I would love to shop here all the time. Prices are mostly fair. And competitive with Amazon. The two gentleman in the shop were kind, helpful and knowledgeable about products. And my cat found a new bed! Im glad they have available discounts in shopping and online. You may also join a rewards program.

They are an awesome pet store. The people who work there are always helpful and friendly. They have dog training, and they have pet adoption, which I prefer over buying from breeders. There are too many homeless animals in the world already, so good for them!

Finally, a chain pet store that actually takes care of their fish~ I am someone who hates supporting pet stores that are chains because they typically keep their betta fish in tiny, unkempt cups that can quickly devolve (aka all of the dead and sickly bettas at Petco).Because it's such a small amount of water, the parameters can change very fast and if not tended to regularly, can lead to the fish getting sick or dying.Most pet stores see that as the cost of doing business, and honestly I was shocked when I saw their betta fish selection. In a good way! I have never seen better fish husbandry in a chain store, ever.All of the bettas looked healthy and had clean tanks, and all of the animals looked really cared for. I appreciate the team that goes out of their way to care for the live animals in their possession, because even smaller pet stores do not.A really joyful thing to see :-)

The shorter gentleman working sat nights needs to consider his tone. I came to look at cat supplies and a cat I noticed in the cage. When he asked if I needed anything I said I came in to look at the cat and in a rather rude tone said it wasn't for sale. I wasn't trying to buy it, I'm a cat person I like to just look. But I was also there to look at cat supplies and that put me off to that. If you're going to keep your kitten in the adoption cages he could have in a more polite tone tried something like "oh thats my kitten, not for sale but you can look". Instead I walked out of there with no desire to come back.

Our pet Star had an injury so she needed a professional to groom her. The groomer at Petsense did an amazing job. Akasha was gentle and thorogh. We will definitely bringing Star back to her. If you use my name you for Akasha Thomas you can get $5 off your first visit :) For $42 Star had her ears cleaned, paws trimmed and polished, and bathed and dried; scrubbed, shampoo, conditioned, and blow dried.

Great place to get dog food. They have a loyalty rewards program so we get free dogfood after every 10th bag purchased. Small selection of reptiles and reptile pet supplies. Clean bathrooms and they even have dog grooming services!

The short guy with the hat is always so incredibly rude whenever I go in. I see him chatting it up in the office and to other employees and customers but when I go to check out, he never speaks to me. Honestly really off putting and comes across as eerie

I got the best most loving kitty in the world from here. :) they were helping the humane society sell some kittens. His brothers and sisters all got taken earlier that day. And I got the last boy! Hes a pplodactyl kitty, super loving. Confident. Smart. And just the cutest tuxedo kitty ever. Definitely will come again! Definitely recommend checking this place out as wellll!

I brought my badly matted labradoodle into to Aly and Akasha. They worked miracles. They gently got her from tangles to pristine while retaining the length of her fur. If I lived nearer to them, I’d be thrilled to have them as my regular groomers. Thank you!

I recommend Kelsey if you're having problems with your pup. She's a fantastic dog trainer and has given me some very good advice that has helped me with my Juniper. She's also a great groomer and does an awesome job with deshedding and keeping my girl's nails trimmed.

When buying a bearded dragon all their staff went so far above and beyond with information and I went back numerous times needing bugs and questions answered and they always took the time to explain and answer my questions. Great staff there!

We bring our doxie here to get his nails trimmed. He absolutely HATES anyone messing with his feet. The groomer with the cool blue hair is always so kind and patient with him. She has never made me feel bad or judged me as an owner and I truly appreciate it. Whenever anyone asks where we go, I’ll always recommend Petsense. Thank you so much for the great service!

This store is Anti Breeder. Every single Breed in the world was created by dedicated, passionate people who often spent lifetimes in the development, protection and preservation of their specific breed. The German Shepherd Dog was created to be a Police Dog, Military Dog, Search and Rescue Dog, Seeing Eye Dog, Bomb Dog, Cadaver Dog, Drug Dog, Companion Dog and did NOT 'just appear," but took 100 years of True Breeders who Love the Breed, just as other purebred breeds were also created, The Dachshund took 300 years. While they want to diss Breeders, while crying adopt dont shop, the true culprits are Puppy mills, and backyard individuals who do NOT love a breed, but are run on Greed and Avarice. True Breeders Hate these people as much as anyone. To be this closed minded is disgusting and This Store can keep its products.

I like the staff here. The prices are slightly higher than what I'd like but the products are worth it. The grooming service did my pup justice as well. He's 105lbs and they were able to handle him just fine

I just brought my 6 month old Chihuahua/Poodle in to have his nails trimmed and the groomer was AMAZING. My puppy was terrified (I have never been able to clip his nails myself) but she was so calm and good at her job we were all done in about 3 minutes! Great service! Great pricing!

I can’t be more thankful for all the positive and helpful staff that work in the Port Angeles Pet Sense! The staff is always willing to answer questions, help with whatever they can and definitely have been instrumental in surprising my little girl with 4 lizards throughout the last year! I was leery of lizards and especially crickets...but they have made the process a positive experience and I am as excited about our new bearded dragon as my daughter!From our dogs, to bettas and lizards....this store has been fantastic for us! It’s always clean, always met with smiles and they answer questions so I feel comfortable with all my purchases!!! Great Place and Great Team!! Thank you!!!!!!

The grooming is an absolute cluster and apparently they have no idea they they give customers the option to schedule an appointment on the website. I scheduled 2 different appointments in TIME SLOTS THAT THE WEBSITE OFFERED AS AVAILABLE.... Now I'm being told that neither appointment is going to happen and they have no openings until the end of JANUARY! Seriously? This is 2023..... you don't know how to use your own online booking service??? Wow man.... just wow

Update 4/2019: I took my dog Mia in again to get groomed, and had to reschedule as they only booked me for a bath even though I told them I needed her groomed and bathed. They also had the wrong name down for her. I will see how grooming goes tomorrow as they have a new groomer and not Hailey who I dealt with last time, but I am not happy that I drove all the way there today just to reschedule.2/2019: I took my dog Mia to get a flea treatment and a full groom here today, and I am very pleased with my experience. Hailey the groomer was amazing, friendly and went over the moon to take care of Mia. When I came to pick her up she was styled and cut exactly the way I wanted, and Hailey also went the extra mile which I more than appreciate. The pricing is also super reasonable, and I am happy to say I will be coming to Petsense to to get my dog groomed again and again. I also will take my cats here to get groomed once they find a cat groomer as after my first experience here I am a very happy and satisfied customer.

We are glad to have our Port Angeles Petsense store. They are our primary source of food and all other needs and wants for our 2 dogs and cat. We also use their grooming services for one dog and she loves it! They are kind, accomodating and professional.

Great variety with competitive prices.Dropping my rating because of what I witnessed today. Swung in quickly to grab a collar. An employee removed her mask while talking to a customer, proceeded to rub her mouth with her hand while talking, then went to touch products she wanted to recommend to that customer.NOPED right out and immediately left.

We took our little mix breed dog there and she spent so much time on the Golden doodle we got a discount and a free nail trim. They do excellent grooming. Milly always looks great!
