So Point Roberts is incredible, especially during the off season, during which the tavern was the only spot open in the evenings so I ended up going several times during my short stay. Everything I had was lovely!! The burger I got my first time here was far better than I had anticipated!! And I ordered the poutine which, although wasn't my most favorite, still came out good and was a very large portion. They also have a dog treat menu which simply makes me happy as well as I was able to get some amazing sunset shots!! I specifically returned to take a few sunset Timelapse videos. All the workers are incredibly sweet and very helpful!! And they even have a small arcade area, which I hadn't explored but did see some folks playing pool.Parking: Huge parking lot directly out frontWheelchair accessibility: All one level and very open floor plan

This was a delightful visit to one of the best, albeit the only one open later at night, restaurants on the point. The outdoor seating is fantastic, the water views and islands and rolling hills in the background look great as well. This truly was a hidden gem to go and see in such a unique part of America only accessible via Canada. Will visit again!

We love the food at this tavern our server brenden was awesome and super welcoming. Our second night we decided to go back we were a bit off put by the server who asked for our id's before we had even ordered drinks but we overall loved this place and the view. We really didn't mind giving id's but my husband simply asked if the tavern made white Russians the server said "no I need your id" like we were criminals. My husband loved your gf burger and I loved the fish and chips.

Nice spot. Great place to sit out at the waters edge with beautiful views. Food was tasty, staff friendly but service was very slow. Unfortunately they didn't have several of the advertised menu items available any more.

If you’re visiting Point Roberts, visit this gem of a dive bar. HERE’S WHY: (1): Awesome history, (2): Friendly service, (3): Kid / Baby friendly, (4): free parking, (5). reasonable prices, (6): BEST SUMMER PATIO, (7): pool and games. ~> the only downside is that there are no specials... which is a bummer <~

Lunch review only: A Point Robert's landmark. Good basic food and drinks in a familiar tavern setting. Super friendly staff. Nice view of the ocean from the outdoor seating. Ample parking.

Wow, what a difference a visit makes! It's July 2023, in one hour I've been asked to change tables twice as I'm only drinking beer and not eating. One of my 2 beers was appreciatively a full pour one à dismal 80 %! Should we Ned to ask for full value on a $10 beer ? Wrestling fans will appreciate all the memorabilia of the great Gene Kiniski from Stampede and Allstar tv wrestling. Staff today we're 2 from last visit, the man, consistent, the woman, bipolar version from my last visit. Outdoor staff were also buy more or move attitude. Be warned, summer days get you classified, if you ain't forking out dough, kindly make way for those who will.

Pros and consAs the other reviews noted, it's a very nice view. Big area for outdoor seating. Typical dated west coast beachfront bar and restaurant inside.Has a lot of potential to be a fun and rustic experience. But.....The hostess is trained to ask every customer if they are staying for dinner, or if they are just having a drink. If you choose the latter, (why not🙂) you are directed to stand at the short bar and order. Be sure not to stand anywhere near the area that says servers or you will be scolded. They curtly told us that the "drinks only" area is not serviced by the staff and we would have to get our own drinks at the bar and go outside. We were then sent to the designated "drinks only" area where a few Adirondack Chairs were set up. The lawn where the chairs were was watered earlier and the chairs were so wet we couldn't sit on them. In addition, fresh dog poop was in the wet lawn near the chairs. So, we stood, looking at the water, with no shade, no servers, wet chairs, dog poop and thought to ourselves. Really? It's hard to blame the staff for the unfriendly attitude, since they were working under the direction of the owner. Kinda of a shame for a neighborhood bar. I (we) don't recommend Kinsky's.

This is a very casual and comfortable bar with great food. It is open only on weekends (beginning Friday afternoon) and Canadian holidays. It seems to be popular with locals, many of whom are Canadian or have dual-citizenship. The interior is somewhat dark, but nearly everyone has a view of the water through large picture windows. Beer prices are great ($5 drafts, $6 pints), and food prices are reasonable. A chicken burger was $16 and a ham panini was $13. Both meals were tasty and attractive, and included a choice of fries or an excellent garden salad. Prices are in whole dollar amounts, which I like.Service was good, though we were surprised that the server did not deliver our check. Instead, we were expected to approach the bartender to pay for our meal. Locals would know that, but we didn't. Decor on the walls included the typical assortment of historic photos, as would be expected in this type of establishment.

It was a pretty windy day but server told us that we must sit outside if we wanted food. We ordered some gravy for our fries,it came out cold and watery. By the time we got our servers attention we were halfway through our meal but she took it back to heat up and came back with it lukewarm. Don't understand why people need to bring their dogs to a restaurant and I know we are outside but still could of done without that. Probably won't come back

The only place in the greater Vancouver area where you can sit and eat lunch where your feet are touching a remote and rugged looking beach. This place is a throwback to the past and I hope it always remains open. The good was great too! Try the salmon burger! And it is dog friendly.

Was totally disappointed. Food was ok but place seems rundown Dust covered everything . Waitress was wearing filthy clothes with paint stains on her shirt. Girl behind the gambling bar looked like she hadn't changed her shirt for a week or so either. Didn't seem like anyone there took pride in where they worked. The ocean and sunset was pretty though.
