I had the most delightful experience at The Mountain Goat! This coffee shop truly deserves a five-star review for its outstanding qualities. Firstly, the staff was incredibly friendly, making me feel welcome and appreciated from the moment I walked in. Secondly, the coffee was exceptional, and they offered a wide range of drink choices that catered to all tastes. I couldn't resist indulging in their delectable assortment of pastries, which perfectly complemented my coffee. Lastly, the vibrant and busy atmosphere added to the overall charm of the place. If you're looking for a fantastic coffee shop experience with friendly service, great coffee, and an array of delicious pastries, The Mountain Goat is the place to be!

Oh my god the savory breakfast scones fresh out of the oven are SO GOOD! The perfect pre hike breakfast. They have three different kinds of chai too - we liked the mix so much we ordered it on Amazon! Friendly staff but be prepared to wait in line in the morning. Outdoor patio is cute and good if you have a dog. Only / best place to go in Packwood for breakfast and coffee - we went here every morning for the four days we were in town hiking Rainier!

I absolutely love this place. I stop in every time I drive through Packwood (about twice a month). I even got an adorable lunch bag last time I was there. They have amazing fresh-baked goodies, and their coffee is wonderful! I love the atmosphere in there too. It's so relaxing. The stress of a long drive just melts away. Definitely worth the stop!

I love the hand lettered signage. My soft serve was really tasty, family enjoyed their coffee, and there was a good selection of local souvenirs including a ceramic mug that I purchased. The baristas were very friendly and it seemed like a very down to earth local hangout. Modern tables and chairs kept it from feeling stuck in the past

Fantastic service, home made pastries which are delicious. Would definitely come here again if in town. It's also very rare to get prices this low in Washington state.

House roast coffee beans. Great espresso and cold late. The pastries are out of this world, everything is very fresh from the oven and extremely delicious. Staff is friendly. Great atmosphere if you decide to sit in and enjoy your coffee and pastries. Oh, the soft serve ice cream is silky smooth and delicious as well :)

Loved it As many times that we have driven through we had never stopped. I'm glad we did. The fresh baked goods were fabulous... Fresh croissant, blueberry muffin... and a green onion ham n eggs bread. Not to mention my coconut espresso coffee as well. Nice friendly ladies that helped me with my love of coffee. Loved it.

Excellent stop on road trip journey. Warm baked fresh homemade cookies and pastries. Beans roasted on site. Locally sourced masala chai. Had it with hemp milk. Highest recommendation.

No idea how this place has so many stars. Got the breakfast scone - dry, not good, not horrible but not good.Drinks: mocha. Tasted like coffee with creamer in it, watery. The server was rude. We didn't finish our scones and had two sips of our drinks before throwing them away and going somewhere else.Again, no idea how this place has good reviews. Maybe because it's the only place serving any breakfast type things.

Mountain Goat is one of my favorite places to stop when traveling over White Pass. Convient location, with plenty of parking and a great covered outside seating area for times the weather is accommodating. Their breakfast scone is amazing, and the coffees we've had their are excellent too. Great place to stop for refreshments and to simply refresh before heading out. They have some cute kid wear items and some nicely chosen gifts for sale as well. Everyone was friendly and made you feel at home.

I love this place for the coffee and the location. You really can't miss the giant sign and classic log cabin appearance. They make a selection of delicious baked goods and serve up a full menu of coffee drinks, tea and smoothies. There area few tables inside and a couple more on the deck outside. I stop here every time I am heading to White Pass or staying in Packwood.

Couldn't find a quick grab and go breakfast in Packwood, but I saw the bakery word on their sign and stopped in to see what they had. Didn't need or want coffee, but I saw they had breakfast scones and pop overs, so I got one of each. My taste buds screamed for joy while eating each item. Definitely worth grabbing some breakfast from here, and you can watch them make the food as well from the counter. Nice place!

The perfect fuel stop before heading into Mt Rainier Steven's Canyon. They had several alternative milk options, and could mix them (may I recommend hemp and almond milk breve) for a refreshing latte. Buying one of their trail bars was the best decision I made all day and was a perfect snack on the long Three Lakes trail, nearby in the park. They also had a small farmer's market outside when I came on a July Saturday.
