I’m not sure that I’ve ever stayed anywhere with better customer service! Getting here was so hectic, after paying for a night and not being able to show up, they moved my reservation for me so it didn’t go to waste and sent me the email confirmation to let me know they did that for me. Every time I called them, they went above and beyond to make sure that everything was set up for me, the rooms were very roomy and comfortable and it’s close to White Pass. They have free wifi, a pool, and a nice little TV in the rooms. I would absolutely recommend this place to stay if you’re going to white pass, want to stick around for the swap meet, or just passing through. I’ll definitely be back here again and I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me the way you did!!

The rooms are what you would expect of a typical motel. Everything was clean and worked fine. Staff was nice. We arrived closer to 12 am I believe as we were coming from the mountains. You have to call a number after hours as they lock the door after a certain time at night. My legs were super sore from the hike and the agent was nice enough to bring us extra covers. My only critique is that they need to update the bathroom floors. They were in terrible condition. Other than that, not a bad stay at all. We just needed a place to sleep through the night so that we could continue our mountain trip. Would not mind to stay again if in the area.

I don't think this is the worst place I've ever stayed, but it leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms aren't the cleanest. They have no ice which sucks after a long day of hiking. They don't give you hand soap. When we asked for some, they offered us lotion. Apparently they don't understand that lotion and soap serve two completely different purposes. The bed is very uncomfortable. And on top of the fact that it isn't nice, it isn't cheap either. You'll pay the same price as a 3+ star hotel for worse than 2 star quality.I'm not sure that there are good places to stay in Packwood since they have a captured market in a small tourist town, but I'd try to find somewhere else.

I stayed at the Packwood Inn overnight in a king bed room. The room is your typical 1970s motel, with all old furnishings and appliances. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and functional. The management seems to have put some thought into making the place comfortable despite its age. The AC was turned way down so that it was so comfortable and inviting as we entered the room on a hot day. There is a tiny tabletop ice machine in the office and coffee, but other than that there are no amenities. The BBQ grill in the backyard was broken but the BBQ area was nice. The room has one single cafeteria type chair, so there is not a comfortable place to sit though. The bathroom was small was everything was working, shower was comfortable

This property is located in Packwood, a small town located just outside of The mount Rainer National Park. Rooms are big with small kitchen and some utensils to cook food. It was sufficient for 4 of us. It's location is what makes it worth the high price. Now talking about down side. The window AC was terrible, making rattling noise all the time. So, it was annoying and we had hard time sleeping. Moreover, the window in the bathroom had no locks and anyone can sneak into the room from outside, which could be security threat. By the way, there is a nice grocery just next to the building, which is very convenient.Rooms: Decent big rooms with poor lighting.Safety: Bathroom window had no locks, so could be security threat.

We stayed here for one night during our roadtrip when visiting Mount Rainier and really much enjoyed it. Staff was very welcoming, friendly and professionel. Rooms simple but cozy, very clean, calm and well equipped. Would stay here again anytime and recommend to everybody who is looking for a good nights sleep when visiting the area.Walkability: Grocery store, gas station, restaurant, coffee shop nearby

We have stayed at this location a few times so we know what to expect...The pool and hot tub are broken and looks like they will never get repaired...The TV on the wall has wires hanging from it what looks like a bowl of spaghetti has been thrown at the wall. The over head lighting is florescent fixtures which is typical for a garage which also highlights the stains on the carpet floor. The AC was nice to come into a cool room but it was noisy and was difficult to get a good nights rest. The price for such a room doesn't really reflect the quality. With that being said the location is great. Near Cruiser's pizza and a store near by is convenient. There is a large grassy area with a covered sitting area. Parking is easy to get in and out of. The staff is a bit disheveled but friendly. After staying at the Packwood Inn twice we might look at other options.Nearby activities: Came to Packwood to hike Mt. Rainier.

When I got into the room I found the door locks did not work. The deadbolt was missing and the entry lock, when locked and closed, would pop open when you pushed on it. I went to the reception desk and found the door locked and the lights out. I had to resort to using a chair to secure the door for the night. I checked out the next morning.More than 24 hours after I checked out I received a call from the hotel management saying I had stolen the TV remote and they were charging me $49.00! That's ridiculous, I did not take the remote. I am thinking the management is running a scam.I will not be back!

Save your money, youre better off at a motel or something cheaper. My TV didnt work, got help from a staff real humble dude really nice guy. He was the only one who helped me but he was like afternoon/nightshift. I asked for room service, some lady knocked on the door and said "Yes what do you need" im like "well idk service? new sheets? towels? soap? etc?" She sounded confused like if thats not a thing, and she never came back with any of my stuff. Never got the service either, my trash was piled cause i didnt know where to dispose of it. So i had to wait for the afternoon (humble guy worked) and asked him for stuff and he was able to help me. Give him a raise

I’ve traveled a lot and stayed in a lot of places and experienced the absolute worst and awful beds and buggy rooms. This was clean and didn’t smell of smoke at all. The towels are soft and smelled clean. The beds were so comfortable and didn’t make noise when I as a bigger woman moved around. The pillows are new enough I wasn’t sneezing all night. The bathroom was large and clean including the bathtub. I had to use a plastic covering from a cup and a wash rag to plug the tub because the drain plug was broke. But, it was hotttt water and they provided soaps and lotion! I’ll be back! Oh, and the best pizza is right next door. (Get the bread sticks too)

Decided to stay at the Inn for a birthday weekend getaway. The staff are friendly and helpful. We did the suite with kitchenette. Beds were comfy and honestly the best night sleep I’ve had in days! Love the rustic look in the room. Everything was perfect. The hot water was amazing after a day of hiking Windy ridge. The front desk staff are so kind and accommodating. I loved the added touch with birthday flowers that made the stay feel more personal. Will stay here again! Thank you Packwood Inn for a wonderful birthday weekend!

I will preface my remarks by saying this place is under new management, so some of my experience. So, the location of great, right in the heart of Packwood, and right next to Cruisers. We were initially placed on the second floor and had a heart view of Mt. Rainier. There was a strong smell of patchouli in the first room, and we were offered another room on the bottom floor which was much better. The room was very clean, has a comfortable bed, mini fridge, and pint sized microwave. There is also a small coffee maker in the room, which I had to relocate to plug in, but was otherwise fine. It was very warm in the new room and the thermostat did not seem to work. There is also a warm water, indoor pool on-site. No hot tub at this time as they are working on getting a commercial unit to comply with regulations. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will certainly stay here again when I travel back to the area.

Didn't get any sleep. The guy above us was slam banging things from midnight until 4 am. I called the next day to complain and they said there's nothing they can do after the fact. I was so mad at 2 am I had to go outside and take a breather. They lady I talked to said I should of called when it was happening, and I should have. When your so tired and PO'd. You don't think straight. I'll never ever go there again. Plus the bed was broke and the slightest movement made a ton of noise.

Beautiful area, convenient location, and probably the best service I've ever received at a hotel. I told the owner I wanted to go swimming but that I was worried the water would be too cold and he personally heated the pool up for me. Also, there is a nice backyard where you can grill, relax in hammocks, or even have a bonfire. Will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed at this place last year during our annual Fly and Ride trip. First of all rooms are nice and clean. Pool with warm and clean water was and excellent bonus after the long day in the saddle. Every employee and the owner of the place are professional, friendly, and courteous. We are planning another trip this year and will stay at this Inn again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this motel, the rooms were clean and the bathroom had been recently updated we got the family suite 2 Queen size beds and a leather couch that had a hideaway bed in it, a dining table and a full working kitchen with dishes and dish soap to clean up after yourself. If staying in Packwood again I would definitely stay at the Packwould Inn. My daughter's absolutely love the indoor pool.

We stayed here in order to ski at White Pass. The staff here were awesome. They bent over backwards for us numerous times over the weekend that we stayed. Rooms have been recently renovated. The beds were really comfortable. The heated pool was awesome after skiing. I'll be bringing my family back.

Wonderful and friendly staff! I had called and they didn't have any rooms, but they kept my number and called me when a room came available. I didn't answer when they called and they saved the room for me anyway. I called back and they had said they saved the room. Now thats what I call great customer service. The Inn is walking distance to the town which is convenient. They have great parking. There is a very clean indoor pool to swim in. The rooms are clean, a little ran down but clean.

Quaint hotel. Clean beds and room with a small bit of mold in bathroom. Only place in town that would let 3 adults and 4 kids with 2 dogs stay in one room (with only 2 double beds). Only 3 other people stayed at the inn during our time and there was no roll away, and the staff supplied us with only one extra set of sheets so I could sleep on the floor. The pool was enjoyable for the kids, but so cold it wasn't for the adults. Maintenance was supposed to turn the heat on our 2nd day, but even when the 3rd and last day came, the pool was just as cold. There is a fantastic barbeque area behind the hotel with both propane and charcoal grills. It is covered and even has several hammocks. All in all, it would be 3 stars but the lack of accommodation for as many people as we had, and the fact we paid an exorbitant amount for the room. In fact, turns out there are rental homes in the area, that during the week, are comparatively priced. One specific house sleeps 12 and costs 10 dollars more a night. In summation, the inn Will do in a pinch, but not for large groups. Unless you get 2 rooms. Staff was courteous and helpful, but not overly friendly. The cold pool and lack of spare bedding was probably the worst aspects. Everything else was nice. God bless.

Awesome hotel. Stayed 1 night, so we can see Mt. Rainier (mostly closed) and Mt.St Helens (completely closed), as of May 10,2019. However, this inn was beyond great. The mattress was memory foam and was better than my mattress at home. Had the best sleep ever. Looks newly renovated, but was clean and nicely up-kept. Ignore all the other negative reviews, as they are old and outdated. Customer Service was great, especially the person at the front desk! Recommend to anyone!

So last minute, I was able to get a room for myself and girlfriend for packwood days thankfully. The staff was very understanding and friendly. This hotel has just gone through a management change in the last month, and they are renovating the rooms and updating them as well. So be patient with them, and they will return the favor for sure. I'm overall very happy so far with my stay, and I love the water pressure in the shower is amazing.

This in such awesome place!!! The new owner is very accommodating and friendly. He and his son are renovating the property and it looks great. He is also upgrading the pool and Ramona area. Anything we wanted was offered from directions to extra towels. He also opens his heart to help the hikers that are on the PCT hiking from Mexico to Canada. I can't say anything bad about our stay.... it was wonderful. 10*'s

Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable, but several things give it only two stars. The only light, besides in the bathroom, was a florescent tube light on the ceiling with the light switch by the door. No bedside lamp. I'm a reader and the lighting made that nearly impossible. There was only one chair in the room, we did ask for a couple more and they brought some in. No ice maker on site for guests and no coffee maker in room. They have coffee in the lobby but didn't open until about 8 am. For the price of the room, I expected more than we got. The people running the place are really nice and friendly.

I arrived late at night with my two children, my dog, and no reservation. The owners answered their phone cheerfully and were very helpful and accommodating. They came out immediately and quickly got us situated. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the ac worked fantastically.I do not know what the inn was like before they took over three months ago, but it is now on the way to becoming a quaint and enjoyable stop On our way to the mountains. I can’t wait to see it again next summer after they have completed the renovations! Also, good place for well behaved dogs with a very reasonable pet deposit!
