Fun Day to be shared by all visiting... great deals Thousands of items and food galore! If you can think it you'll find it here. Yes this is elk country and yes these elk were just walking around town!

High mountain fun and a flea market all through the town. Hard to find a place to eat that wasn't full to the gills.

Thought we would give the largest flea market in the Pacific Northwest a try this year. If you are a reseller, this is not the place for you. You can expect to pay at or above full retail prices for nearly everything and double for food and drink. Knowing how to work a sale, we were able to find a few deals after an exhausting effort and literally miles of walking. The vendors were unwilling to move more than five bucks to make a sale the first two daysuntil Sunday morning when we noticed may 50% off signs going up on our way out of town so if you go, do it the last day or two if you want a deal. Several vendors had no pricing so you had to ask repeatedly which is very irritating to any buyer. One clothes vendor had a box van with a "Wizard of Oz" in there...the employees would take clothes to the back of the van and the Wizard would bark out the price...a total turn off! Examples of food pricing at the flea market...we did dinner there one night. Two large lemonades $14, Two BBQ corn cobs $10, Two Chicken Kabobs with rice $30 for a grand total of $54.00 dollars on dinner for two so be prepared to bust out you wallet if you want to eat on the fly. The market environment has a good mix between newer stuff antiques and junk but more of a carnival feel to it rather than flea market. If you are a retail buyer looking to save a buck on a tool this is a good place to go. If you are looking for a Coleman lantern, hunting knife or ax blade this is the State Capitol for those three and if you want expensive carnival food this is your place. All in all this was a fun weekend away and we did make the trip pay off but only by leaving the flea market and working the surrounding area garage sales so I doubt we will be back any time soon...love the Packwood area though, very beautiful country and we saw a cow elk walking from yard to yard chowing down on grass, how cool is that?

You have to see this to believe it... canopy booth tents practically as far as the eye can see. The town is a huge flea market. And with a hodgepodge of everything imaginable selling. It's like a mix of yesterday's swap meet and a street fair or country carnival. I expected the food would be priced high and it was. Parking was $10. Not a lot of haggling but I think the best deals would be found on the last day. And traffic was non-stop because it's one of the biggest small town treasure hunts around. Spend the day, have some fun.

This is a very fun experience and I highly recommend it. Though do keep in mind that due to the fact that it only happens twice a year (Memorial and Labor Day weekend) it is extremely crowded. So if you go I advise getting there early (plenty of places to eat so don't worry about breakfast) because the roads leading into town get very backed-up (when I left at around 1pm there was about a ten mile line just waiting to get into town). Still, if you're looking for a fun day-long adventure on a long weekend this is a great choice.

Over priced yard sell. The only thing worth going for was the fair food and olive guy. So many people selling animals which your not supposed to do. People selling food saying they make it on the cottage law. Can’t sell pickles under cottage law!

An interesting experience! A true flea market where 90% of the vendors are just selling random stuff. You never know what antiques you might find. If you're a collector of old stuff, look no further. Lots of people with dogs, but carry your own water bowl and water - some vendors are nice enough to have water out, but please don't force your dog to drink community saliva. Not too hard to find parking if paying $10 is no big deal to you, but getting back onto the highway can be rough.

Highly recommended to visit Parkwood every labor day and memorial day! The entire town turns into a swap meet/garage sale/antique sale/fun shopping experience. So many people set up booths with everything from high end antiques to tools and everything in between.

We, Becker's Woodcrafts, have been vendors at the Flea Market-Street Fair several times. The range of products from the vendors is amazing; handcrafted, brand new, swap meet items, including decor, clothing and vintage items. It's a great place to shop for unique, one of a kind gifts.

We had a nice time. We talked with some of our favorite vendors and discovered new favorites. The atmosphere was upbeat and happy. It's like everyone had been locked up for about a year 😉.Can't wait until labor day weekend!

Happy to see the Flea Market is back. Not as many vendors as pre-covid but hopefully it will get better. There were still lots of vendors set up. More food vendors than I remember. Looking forward to next year.

We had actually camped out and joined with all the shops. SUCH an amazing experience. Seriously anything and everything you can think of buying when walking through all these shops. From treasures, little trinkets, big things, everyday things, food trucks, the list goes on and on and on. Was truly a great experience.

One of our favorites!! We go at least once a year and quite often, twice (Memorial Day and Labor Day)!! It has a wide variety of finds! It's literally a city wide flea market with old, new, used and homemade goods/items, not to mention yummy food (Authentic Mexican, Thai, Greek, carnival foods, icecream, coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner along with local restaurant/tavern's)!! We also like the fact that this is a very pet friendly event (a lot of venders have water set out for dogs/domestic pets)!! Highly recommend!!!

Many vendors. Had a good time. Probably 25% collectibles, rest were crafts, kitchen, Fair type items.

It's HUGE! Crazy number of vendors and shoppers. Parking was $10 for the whole day in a number of fields. Food choices were straight up fair food. Traffic was backed up for miles with one way in & one way out. If I could choose one phrase to describe it, "It's a madhouse!"

This market is one of the best ive been to, if not the best. There are tons of stories in each tents, the people are nice, there are tons of really cool items there. And just a few miles away are some lovely hiking areas, i recommend taking a hike to packwood lake, it has beautiful, crystal blue water and the scenery is just beautiful.

Hot weekend, lots of junk to look through, if you like to junk this is a great place to do it. Some people selling new stuff, but mostly junk and crafts. Some food, it's kinda spendy. Looking to spend a day out and not lots of money? Pack a lunch, some snacks and head out here.

Always a good trip memorial weekend is usually better than labor day, but both are great. Me and boyfriend go every year to at least one of them. And kettle corn is a must!!!

It was a lot of fun. Met some pretty nice people. Lots of walking from one end of town to the other and back. Pretty much anything you need. Next swap meet from my understanding is Labor Day weekend.

We were vendors for the first time here at the official site. The coordinators are very organized and professional. We made some friends with long time repeat vendors and had a good time. We are coming back next time as well.

Good inexpensive entrainment for the weekend. If you go try to park at the school; it's cheaper than other places and the money helps the school. I've noticed that it seems like the stuff there is getting junkier every year but there are still lots of good finds.

If you like kettle corn, temporary tattoos or food this is the place to go... otherwise no many different vendors to choose from. I feel its lost it touch over the years. Not as many different booths ... seems to be getting smaller and smaller every year

We were here Labour Day and honestly, even though there were interesting things, seeing a huge Confederate flag hanging by one of the stands made me not want to go in any further.
