We did not originally plan to eat here, but I’m very glad we did. This place has great vibes. The menu is small, but the food is tasty. The cider/beer is great too. This was definitely what we needed after a long day of hiking and driving. We also saw some elk behind the building.

Great food. Good service! Sweet to see the bartender/owner? Interact with his sweet little people (his kids) as he picked one up! ♥️ love the poblano chicken taco and grilled steak taco and the poblano chicken bowl.

Great beer with great ambiance and awesome food. Try their awesome breakfast burritos on the weekend. Also, great place to stay in rooms above. The Tahoma room was huge with private entrance, 2 bed and one bath.

Stopped in on our way home from Mt. Rainer and treated my boyfriend to lunch on his birthday, which I later felt bad about. Looking online the atmosphere seemed great and the rustic feel is right up our alley, which attracted me to go there for lunch. The atmosphere was great and the details of the decor/rustic feel was awesome. The menu was small and over priced. We tried the rice bowls and was not what we expected for $13.00. The portion were small and presentation wasn’t there either. For the price of the menu we expected a bit more. We ordered food at the bar which was fine, but we also had to get up and grab our own food from the kitchen area. I felt like I was back in my serving days, not at a restaurant where I just paid $40.00 for lunch. If I had known that I wouldn’t have tipped what I did. I would suggest the menu needs a bit of modification and maybe staff to have someone bring your food to you. More of a beer drinking place, rather then eating.

Great spot for food and drink. The space has an authentic rustic interior and is lively. There are board games, local beers on tap, and decent Mexican food. It was a great place to refuel after hiking in the area. I will be back!

Great beer, nice outdoor seating, but the food was just okay. They have nachos, tacos, quesadillas, etc. They all lacked any kinda spice though, which made the flavors kinda bland. The quesadilla also felt like it was smothered with cheese. Don't get me wrong, I love cheese. But it just seemed like it was more cheese than meat. The beer is absolutely great though.

Great outdoorsy vibe, delish craft beers, and beer friendly comfort food. Superb ice cream truck in the spacious, picnic table filled patio area and grassy area. Also nice craft brewery vibe in the spacious interior. Recommended for your lunch stop! Ample parking

My husband, doggie and I really enjoyed Packwood! We are new to the PNW and this was a fun find! The beer is pretty good, and the nachos are a must get!! When the ice cream truck is open it has the best flavors as well!

The rice bowl is more like a rice cup. About a third the size of a chipotle bowl. For $15. My friend got a rice bowl and was still very hungry afterward, but not willing to pay for more overpriced food. Overheard other people with this same complaint. I almost felt like I should warn people in line as a public service lol. I got the steak quesadilla for $15 and it was moderately filling. I also got an Arnold Palmer (made with minute made lemonade). Street tacos are $5-6 each. Nachos seemed like the best value. Bottom line: This place is making a killing off of overpriced mediocre food! Good for them. The vibe is great (both inside and outside). The inside smelled strongly of cleaning product, so we ate outside.

Excellent beer and food. The menu is condensed allowing for perfection. The atmosphere and decor are also unmatched.A rustic and outdoor theme pay homage to the local scene as you enjoy your food and brew—Highly recommend!

Perfect stop after a day of skiing or to/from Mount Rainier. The patio is really nice for days with good weather, and also dog-friendly. Overall good atmosphere, and the fact that they have their own food is a nice touch!

Fun brewery near the east side of Rainier National Park. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of their staple beers so had a lot of guest beers on tap - about 50%. A very cool hot pink prickly pear seltzer. Enjoyed the IPAs and would have loved to buy a sign but none were for sale. Lots of space inside and out. Kitchen with lots of god food to try. Patio is dog friendly.

Good drinks and good rotating menu. The chorizo nachos for $17 feeds 2-4, they don’t lie. Also they are super tasty and look incredible. The tacos were alright but we weren’t a big fan, a little bland and for $3.95 each at street tacos size wasn’t our fav.Love this spot though. Good drinks food and atmosphere. Lots of outdoor seating for families and dogs. Very chill, good service. We like coming here before or after exploring and hiking around here.

What an awesome find! Dog-friendly, delicious tacos, great selection of beer. There's a large outdoor seating area with ice cream. Good vegetarian food options. I would happily go back to try the nachos everyone was ordering

Great atmosphere but the beer was mediocre. High prices and everything wasn’t served cold enough. Wasn’t a fan of most of the things we ordered, either.

My boyfriend and I came here very hungry and ordered ,,dinner“ (Two Tacos for 10$ and one Quesadilla for 15$). The portion sizes were the biggest joke! It was more like a small appetizer(at entree proces)! The food was definitely not worth the price we paid! For the price that they charged we expected a lot more… Funnily enough, they didn’t even pack our food to go in a safe manner. It was dimply an open tray. Now after eating the appallingly small meal, we’re still starving even though we paid 25 $. I recommend to bring your own food and don’t buy anything in Packwood, because these prices are rip offs!!

Great brewery! Beer was good with a good selection, good food. The inside has a great vibe and fireplace that would be great for winter. The outside had a lot of seating and sun shade great for summer. Dogs are allowed outside too!

Lazy. Online said kitchen was open. Employee said otherwise. Passed on a party of 7 and a $200 tab in the off-season. Good luck. Summer is coming.

Covid 19 Safe: We came across a newly open Brewery, Packwood Brewing Co. We rented a cabin in Packwood to get away from everything for a week. We were delighted to find the brewery was open to the public. They have indoor tables set apart more than 6 feet and we felt quite safe as well as an outdoor space. They have a small food menu and we had a light snack before dinner. The food was tasty. The outdoor space has huge firepits, picnic tables, log seating, and shade coverings. The whole experience was great. Now for the important part, how was the beer? The beer was amazing. I am very picky and this is one of the first brewery’s I’ve experienced that I found I liked every beer on tap. From the Porter, IPA, to their White Pass Pale. The staff were great and seem to love what they are doing. The firepits are huge with log fires going. They have a wood pile that they are actively chopping wood for the fire pits. A herd of Elk were sleeping in the grassy field across from us. We enjoyed everything about this place and would highly recommend it to everyone. HappuccinoLife.com

We stopped by this place as it was the only place open for food on the Thanksgiving evening. It had the most inviting music, best ambiance and a welcoming person (Jason) who was running the place at that moment. We had the most amazing place all to ourselves and had some amazing soup and gourmet hotdogs. We played some games while the food was being prepared. We sat by the fire - it was a great spot! The actual person who was running was super nice too! We had a great time. Actually it was quite a serendipitous moment for an otherwise dead town on Thanksgiving evening. :)

Food is a bit of a letdown: for $15 you can get 2 tortillas, maybe 1/2 lb. cheese, a sprinkling of meat, and 2oz. green salsa. No rice, beans, etc. you would expect with a Mexican food order..which happens to be the only thing they serve. Tacos, nachos, and quesadillas. Or a pretzel. In the "quick food" line, the server was noticed to be serving up plates of food while wearing no gloves or using any utensils to handle things like bread, hot dogs, etc. No screens on doors or windows, many files in building floating around kitchen and dining areas. Overall overpriced and overrated...would not return or recommend dining here.

Awesome place if you're looking to grab a bite to eat and some beer after a day at the park. Super cool vibe inside. Guy at the counter was super friendly and cool and the chorizo nachos were really delicious. We will be back for sure!!

I really enjoyed this place! It was a different brewery I've ever been to, I guess just bc they don't serve burgers. Food options are very limited. It is self serve, no refills, outdoor dining is convenient and open. It didn't feel squished like some outdoor seating sometimes feels like. It was a good stop after backpacking for 15 miles near by. Beer was cold, staff was friendly and my Chorizo nachos were delicious!! Will probably be back!
