I try to avoid walmart, but Safeway will make you wait in line for a very long time especially in the evening hours, I'm usually in and out at Walmart, hopefully they fix this issue.

Safeway had a great deal on flats of water. $3.99. They were plenty of staff around so it was easy to have them open the cabinet to buy some gin. However their Starbucks bar was rather disappointing. First of all, the staff had no interest in your order and it took them forever to make it. I used to look forward to coming to the Starbucks because the staff greeted us and were attentive to our orders

For a Safeway that is out of the way, I think this store does very well. Usually well stocked and staffed. The prices are a little higher than normal (because of it being out of way), but that is normal. Much better than Walmart.

High quality, clean, well staffed, wide selection with excellent floral and bakery departments for special occasions. Great deli with nice soup and salad rotations for lunches and sides. Prices seem fairly market priced with appreciated savings with Safeway Card.

Shout out and gratitude to Jan in floral! I had ordered flowers for my partner’s birthday who was working out of town in Omak from another business who cancelled last minute. I called Safeway to see if there was any possibility of a same day, last minute order. Not only did Jan create a stunningly gorgeous arrangement, she even dropped it off herself at the hotel on her way home after work. Above and beyond, you really saved the day. Thanks so much Jan 💐

I like store and the deal's you can get. I'm still new to the app on my phone so getting used to it. My daughter is very helpful!!! Safeway is the store she uses. I've always used Walmart but now I'm paying attention to the Safeway flyer and try to use them more

Meat counter empty. We walked away.Deli lady was out visiting with her friend. Wouldnt make ete contact. We walked away. Had to use restroom. Smelled bad. No seat protectors, no paper towels. Thank goodnes there was toilet paper. The box boy needs serious training. Think he could do it if someone would take time with him. Back to Wal Mart, I guess.

I'm very disappointed. I don't know if more at myself or Safeway.I can't blame them because I was in a hurry and I didn't feel well. I grab a single Orange instead of a 4lb bag, the bag was $4.99 and had 8-10 oranges in it. I really just needed something quick.That 1 orange 🍊 cost me $1.15 so yeah I'm not a happy camper.I really need this to be the best and sweetest orange I can remember.

Mildly overpriced groceries, with a great selection and some of the best fresh fried chicken made to order. Better than KFC at half the price! Great selection, deli counter, salad counter, soups. You name it. They also sell lotto and other frivolous things at customer service. The employees are all friendly and courteous.

Maybe it is due to Covid and the fact that I was shopping at 7PM and things on sale were out of stock. At this time I think it's a little unfair to judge them. Covid and our weather closing the passes has hurt all our stores. I will write another review when it gets more fair to do so. Thank you Safeway for the past few years dealing with such hard times. 😊👍

This store is always more expensive than any Safeway anywhere else for the exact same food as other Safeway stores, even just over in Wenatchee. Sometimes the cashiers will give little photocopied slips to you that say to go online and rate them a 9 or 10 on their rating system online... AS IF. Give me a break, isn't that technically against the rules for the stores? It doesn't say "if we made you happy" it just says do this. Once it offered a discount, and I know that's not allowed. Tonight, it was 10:53, and I drove up, parked, the lights were all on, stuff was still outside, cars were in the parking lot close up to the front, and the doors were OPEN (not unlocked, but actually OPEN) and so I went in to get groceries- and this guy came charging out- I wasn't even across the pavement part yet and he YELLED at me that they were closed... yeah, that's great, but BEFORE I parked, I looked at the doors and windows, and as usual, they have a big sign that says "Store Hours:" ...and nothing else. No actual 'store hours' under it. Ridiculous. Who yells at customers like that? This place makes me shop anywhere BUT there, which is frustrating because there's not a lot of options here. After tonight, I don't expect to go back. They clearly don't WANT customers, if they can't be bothered to put up some sticky numbers showing hours, or just SAY they're closed instead of screaming aggressively at someone across a parking lot.

Prices going up, many empty shelves, severe shortages of many basics: almost no cold medicine, few eggs, milk (remaining milk on shelf was within days of expiring one time), bread, chicken, cat food,, cat litter, refrigerated dough section almost completely empty or empty for the last few weeks (January 2022). Realize it is everywhere but moreso at this location.

This place is pretty expensive. You'll be better off shopping at the Walmart grocery store. I just don't see this place being very useful if you're trying to save some money. Plus the checkout is always backed up

I do all of my grocery shopping here. The store is staffed well so checkout is quick. They keep the shelves stocked nicely and I rarely come across items that have been completely sold out. I also appreciate the size of the store, not too big or small.

The people in your deli are wonderful! Charles was so great,he would let me get my salads,then let me keep them there while I went for my walk so they wouldn't get hot.It was nice to realize we need more people like Charles,who cares about people.

I always find something I need to have when shopping at Safeway. what I mean is I always see something new that I never noticed before that I have to have. This last time I found the best ginger beer that I have ever tasted. The service at this Safeway is always exemplary and Everyone is always smiling.

Most of the people at check-out are rude and don't even have manners. A simple hello and a thank you once you pay would be nice. It's like this at all the stores at Omache Center except at the Dollar tree, JCPENNEY'S , Rite aid, Express Coffee and the restaurant. Safeway and Big 5 , and the fast food places, and cricket are the worst. Customer service is lacking tremendously they need customer service training ASAP and management needs to make sure their team actually applies it.

Generally neat and clean, with some very genuinely friendly staff. Prices are some of the highest in the immediate area, however. Does have a pretty good selection of Asian foods and ingredients compared to anywhere in the Okanogan Valley.

My favorite grocery store. They are a little pricier but they very good sales and they have the gas rewards. The bakery people have never been very helpful. The meat department is great and the produce department is always very helpful.

The omak safeway is always clean, helpful courtesy from the employees, rarely ever have to stand in long lines to check out. Everyone is friendly helpful, I enjoy this store very much
