I brought my dog in this morning to be groomed and out of the gate they made it very difficult because he had a few mats and groomers these days aren't trying to do any extra work so when I said I wanted the mats brushed out and not cut out it automatically became an additional $50 for my service! Then they wanted me to sign a waiver releasing them from any responsibility if they injured my dog. The actual form wanted me to agree to terms above. After asking the groomer what the terms were and she couldn't tell me. I asked to speak to a manager. Neither manager could tell me what the terms were so I said I was going to cross that part out and they refused to serve my dog. I wonder how many people blindly sign this form without even reading it and have no idea what rights they are. Relinquishing.

We wish you had 10 Stars! This was Sophie's FIRST bathing and grooming appointment. (23 months old female mini Australian Shepherd). EVERY employee we encountered while in the store and grooming department were SO friendly and helpful. LEANNE was Sophie's groomer and what a DELIGHT she was. Her love for animals is apparent and appreciated. The large windows allow you to watch your pet's grooming take place! The store, itself, is amazing with so many different animals, fish, etc. to view, as well as animal clothing and toys, feed, fresh treats, and so on. You could spend hours looking around. All the reasons why we will make the Olympia PETCO one of our permanent destinations. 💕

Edit: cannot recommend. After Matthew left, I was sadly disappointed by the botch job they did on my dog. And my dog was so unhappy with his stay there. It was sooooo expensive too! What a waste of time & $$$!Check out Grateful Dogs instead!!!!——It has been a challenge to find an excellent groomer for our Coton de tulear/maltipoo pup! I am so happily surprised by our grooming experience at Petco. Our long search for a phenomenal groomer is over! Steven did an exceedingly wonderful job with our anxious dog. We watched him work and he was so patient but also highly skilled! We told him that he could muzzle our dog if he needed to- I was comforted to hear that they are respectful and gentle with dogs and do not muzzle or force them. Our dog is usually sad after his grooming sessions, but this time, he was happy and back to his normal self. Matthew was meticulous and so patient. Highly recommend!!!!

Lindsay has been incredible with my puppy Bear. She claims he's an angel but I'm doubtful lol. I was worried she wouldn't be able to cut all his hair but she did beautifully. Bear clearly felt very comfortable with her. All staff have been super friendly and kind. Thank you!!

I brought my German shepard mix in for his first grooming appointment and was a little nervous. He's a rescue and we are still working on anxiety but he LOVED it. They made him feel comfortable, managed to help deshed him, and did a n overall phenomenal job. Matthew is great! Highly recommend. Theyre great at what they do and clearly love animals

This was Bella's first-ever trip to the groomers... a 3.5 month old Goldendoodle... so I had no idea how she'd behave. Meme was super sweet and patient with her, to where every time I looked through the window at them, Bella was wagging her tail at her... a very positive experience for her. I really like MeMe, not only for how she cut Coby's hair, but also for the care in making sure it was the way I wanted it done. She will be his choice in groomer from now on as he was also a happy dog when he left which meant the experience was good.
