I had been feeding my Dobermans Victor Professional dry for 5 years and they did so well on it. But because of the nationwide recall of all Victor kibble I was forced to find another food for my dogs immediately! I called the online retailer I had been using for years, but they had no suggestions on another food that would agree with my dogs sensitive stomach. I had to find something so I ordered a random bag that seemed comparable...no luck, my dogs had loose stool. Tried another brand, same reaction. I was at my wits end and decided to make some calls. I called Companion Cove and spoke with Jen. She did some research and found a food that is not only comparable to Victor Professional, it's better! She went above and beyond what any online company could, or would do! It's businesses like this that make you want to shop locally....they actually care!

My wife and I moved to the Mudd Bay area several years ago and would drive to various petstores/feed stores around Oly for our feed and dog food and it was a pain. Then we found Companion Cove! What a life changer, great people, everything we need for the mini farm and a small business with the greatest customer service!!!

We went to get a collar for our dog to help with pulling. The lady working that day was knowledgeable and friendly. She helped us fit the collar and explained how to adjust the fit as he grows. Excellent customer service.

Companion Cove is the best thing that’s happened to the Steamboat Island area in years! The owners Paula and Jen and their wonderful manager Hayley go above and beyond to help educate people on the best foods for their pets as well and where to plant your plants so you will have a successful landscape! I can’t say enough about this place! It’s a must visit Feed & Garden store! You will definitely make it your go to stop for garden and pet needs!

Always helpful and friendly (pet friendly too). Have a wide variety of dog and cat food as well as some livestock, poultry and small animal foods and bedding/litter. They carry hard to find healthy options (grain free, ancient grains, limited diet etc.) or can possibly order it for you at fair prices. They also get chicks in occasionally throughout the year. In warmer months they always have beautiful hanging baskets and some other plants for the garden at good prices. Forget something for your pets on the way home? This is a quick and easy stop to grab it and go.

Fast, friendy service. Always has what I need or they can get most things in a reasonable time. Clean, dry warehouse/storage and retail areas. Easy vehicle access and parking. Flat bed wagons are easy to load, unload and roll very easy.Helping to select amongst the choices and load out is very appreciated.

This is a great store with amazing owners. They carry a wide variety of pet foods, treats, and supplies. They have feed for livestock, hay, etc. the plants are super healthy and grow like weeds. If you need a specialty item, they will order it and carry it for you! A welcome addition to the community!!

Best feed store this side of the Mississippi!! Excellent staff and products, very helpful and knoledgable. Also a great place to bring dogs to practice socialization because it is much calmer than a typical pet store. Ps to anyone who reads Carolin Gooding's review I have personally had over 10 interactions with that lady and in every single one she was a very negative person. Don't take it personally Companion Cove you're doing great!

I got really good hay and service at the beginning but not no more !I buy my hay now from tractor supply. The hay they provide in the last few months was very poor quality my horses didn't even touch it no more. I also got tired of the constantly complaining of the employees while loading my hay in the truck. I always had to help them. Didn't matter who loaded it !
