The staff were great. Our bigger dog suffers from severe anxiety and is afraid of the world. We stayed with her for a bit while staff took the time to get to know and win her over, and she happily went with them. Our Yorkie just flew in from London and was a hot mess (photo 1 closest to what he looked like before being groomed). As you can see he is now a dashing English Gentleman, we love his proper Yorkie cut. Animology is our new groomer, highly recommend them.

Overall a great business! We have used and will still be using, their grooming services and self-wash services for our dogs. We have one poodle and one golden doodle be groomed here for the first time and I have never left a doggy business so happy ever. I've never felt such joy from places like this but I did because they left my doggos looking 5/5 awesome! The front desk people are super nice too. They are always quick to attend you. I've never had any issues. I hope everyone gets to have experiences like this anywhere.

I had my dog Zoey groomed here for the first time and they did an excellent job. They went above and beyond by double checking my dogs blow dry and spent some extra time with her. I even picked up some treats while I was there!

Our dogs did great! And I love their new haircuts. The groomer did excellent with one of our dogs that is a bit of a nervous Nellie. She took to him right away. We will be back! 🐶🐾

Had a great first time experience. They are well organized with check ins. Groomers remembered regulars which makes for a swift drop off. The groomer called and explained any changes in services prior to pick up. Staff were very pleasant and pick up was very easy. We will definitely be back on a regular basis.

We have been going to Animology for about 4 months and they do an amazing job! My little girl looks so adorable. They also have a self wash which we like and it’s super convenient! Their staff are super friendly and kind! Thanks guys for helping us!

My dog is very difficult to handle while being groomed especially his nails but they do an amazing job every time after the first time I tried taking him here I haven't gone anywhere since. Highly recommend! they always get me in that day or the day after and he is always in a great mood when I pick him up even though he doesn't like to be groomed they have began to turn it into a good experience for him. Non stop compliments when people see him afterwards. Its worth every penny and I love the bandanas he comes home with.

I’ve been bringing my dog here to use the self wash for a few weeks now and have always had great experiences with the staff! They are kind and helpful even when my dog can be a bit anxious. I love that the self wash is stocked with everything you could need including aprons to keep you dry. I’m so glad to have found this place and we will keep coming back :)

Facility was very clean. Staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely felt like they cared. We have an older dog who has some anxiety in regard to nail trimming and staff member Jacob was able to get his nails trimmed safely and without struggle. Our dog came out in a good mood and was happy to use their self wash grooming. The set up was easy to use on our large dog and we were in and out in under an hour. They even had pet supplies so we were able to pick up a reward for our pup. The website booking was easy to use and the pricing was great. 10 out of 10 will definitely use them again in the future.

My Husky LOVES Animology and so do I! The staff is super friendly and amazing. They stock high quality foods, toys, and pet supplies with prices that are comparable with the big box stores, yet they are independent and I prefer to support locally owned businesses. The self wash stations are fully stocked to meet all of your pet’s needs and if you are the parent of a triple coated dog, then I don’t need to tell you that the struggle is real when it comes to maintaining their grooming needs during shedding season. Plus, if you’re not up to the challenge of grooming your dog yourself, they offer full grooming services. A great shop with great staff means that my Husky is a happy boy when we leave. :)

I have been bringing my standard poodles here for grooming and or self wash for a few months now. each time we have gone the owners and staff have been exceptional. The prices are not outrageous and they even offer 15% off the day your dogs are scheduled for grooms. Did I mention how exceptional the owners and staff are? Customer service is through the roof. If you are still reading I need you to stop and book your fur babies that grooming appointment.

I’ve always had an amazing experience coming here! This is the only place i’ve consistently taken my pups to get their haircuts because they always come out super cute and fluffy plus they smell amazing! I take my big dogs here for the self wash stations as well and they love it (my bathroom floors love it more haha). The best part is accumulating points with every grooming appointment and the discounts after each appointment too! All of their staff has always been great. I really recommend Animology :).

I’ve been taking my dog Millie here since they opened! Recently I brought Millie in for a nail clip and file, the next day I noticed her nails were still a bit long. They happily took a look the next day and we’re able to get a little more off but showed and explained that if they go any shorter it would cause pain/bleeding. I appreciate them taking time out of their day to double check and also send my pretty girl back with the cutest Valentine’s Day handkerchief!I definitely recommend this place. They treat and love on your pet as if it were their own!

This was our first visit having my dog groomed. When she came out she looked beautiful. She's a long hair dog and after seeing her I know I won't need to vacuum every day. Very friendly staff.

Took my sweet dog in for a self wash and a nail trim, it was amazing!!! The tubs are good sized and they have everything you need there! The staff was very friendly & answered all my questions. Even snagged a few $1 bandannas & some treats!!I really wanted to scout out the place to see what it was like before bringing my other dog that gets nervous! I think he’ll do great with the setup, the tubs are spaced apart enough that you get your own space and it’s set back away from what’s going on in the front of the store!! 10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back!

This is by far the most amazing place to have your pups groomed! I have been going here since day 1 and I will never switch! I had to reschedule a grooming because my pup wasn't feeling well and a week later the owner texted me to make sure my dog was okay! Best customer service EVER!

I highly recommend the Animology Self Wash services. They provide all the supplies you need to wash your fur baby and the facilities are clean and then sanitized after every use. The staff is very helpful and they have reasonably priced pet supply products. I spoke with other customers who go there regularly to use their full service grooming and they all raved about the service. They only groom dogs less then 10 years of age. I will shop there again.

Where do I start?! We have 2 MaineCoons and both are huge, one long and the other medium haired. Knots were starting to happen for my long haired cat. As mush as I tried I could not get the knots out. And my cats have high anxiety. Talked to Carolina and Elliott and both were SO amazing and convinced us to bring them in. They took the time to show us the domed cone they used for cats.Brought both our cats in and it was a miracle! Knots gone! Nails trimmed! Sanitary shave done! Most importantly my cats were not traumatized.I will be bringing them back once a month for a full body treatment. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

My three Australian shepherds are always nervous Highgate entering a pet shop or dog scented places. Every time I bring them here, they are excited going in and leaving. The staff are all wonderful with me and my dogs too. I don't schedule grooming often but the staff all recognized my pets which adds quite a personal touch. Very affordable prices on grooming as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience! Where do I begin..I have a French Bulldog, Oliver who has severe anxiety..typical bulldog. Ashley knew exactly how to handle him and she was so gentle and patient with tons of knowledge about his breed. Jacob trimmed Oliver’s nails, he had all sorts of tips and tricks and within 30 second he had trimmed all his nails! I rarely get Oliver’s nails trimmed because of his anxiety and Ashley and Jacob made me feel so at ease, I will be a regular and I will refer everyone to Animology! Check them out, you won’t regret it!!
