DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!1 star because my dog is still alive.This place is terrible. We took our dog to the Olalla location during the week of Christmas and the elderly woman at the front desk was very unprofessional, angry, rude to my wife and her employees. She lied about the size of the space our dog would be in. When I called to check on our dog, more if the same... very rude " Your dog is just fine!" Before they even checked on her. And then they didn't even check with the correct person that was working with our dog, if anyone was. When we finally came back to Washington and picked up our dog, the woman was quote rude and short with us again, and was rude with the younger employees as well. I told them several times not to bathe our dog and the woman acted shocked. They took a very long time to bring out our dog and when she finally came out, her nose was bleeding.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!

Our kitty was the only cat that didn't look like they were on vacation. She's just a sour puss, I guess. Every other cat was perfectly content, some even wanted love from us. But our baby was hiding in the back of a cat tower.Despite her anti-social behavior, she was safe and cared for. We just got her home, and she's kinda extra skittish, but she's a cat so...It was very evident that the owner was not the kindest boss to her staff, but it was only her staff taking care of the animals for all that I could see.I am going to use a different boarding home the next time I need one, because I believe staff should be treated better. I would never work for or allow anyone I loved to work for someone who spoke to them that way. I had kinder Drill Sergeants.That said, this business provided a moderately priced service that was effective, and my kitty seemed better cared for than the staff.

Joie (the owner) is fantastic and we are so happy to know her. Her facility is very clean, our animals are always extremely well cared for, happy and smell great when we pick them up! Her staff is lovely and clearly care about all the animals. Our friends/family that have boarded with her have had the same positive experiences as us with a range from toy to large breeds. We have been clients of hers for several years and will continue to be. Our dogs are excited to be dropped off and happy to see us when they get picked up. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The old lady at the front is disgustingly rude to everybody that walks through her doors including her staff. She lets her own dogs wander around the front lobby and pee everywhere and doesn’t bother cleaning it up. She yelled at me to put my dog back in the car when I first went to drop him off which was strange to me since I can’t drop him off if he’s still in the car? I picked my dog up today and he has been non stop vomiting and seems completely stressed out in his own home. He has been wandering around the house for 3 hours and refuses to sit and relax. A lot more things went wrong here with my dog that I don’t want to type out. Completely disappointed with the service we got, especially with the high rates this place charges you. The only nice thing about this place is the young girls who seemed to genuinely love my dog. I feel bad for the staff that have to work under the owner. They should quit and never look back in my opinion, no one deserves to be treated the way that they are.

To my readers, I really like this place! I have been bringing my four legged family member for quite some time. The staff is friendly and professional. They are very thorough with their expectations and with your as well. The kennels are nice and neat. They have sliding doors to their kennels so that they can have access to their runners. The one thing I really like is that they will allow you to take your furry legged family member to their rooms (Kennels). To me, this is very important. Although, its hard to say goodbye to my furry son, but it is important that they see you off than just handing a leash to a stranger to be towed off to a metal gated cell and not knowing what is going on. They do offer a lot of amenities for your love one. They offer daily walks (outside the compound). During the hot seasons, they offer a swim in their swimming pool and they will supply them with a frozen Pupsicles; a tasty treat for your baby (extra expense)! If you feel the need and you give them an expected time of return, they will take your baby and give him or her a bath along with a toenail clip (extra expense). Although, I have never used this service, but they have a REALLY cool kitty room. I love looking in there and seeing all the cats laying around in the cat trees. From what I can see, they do not look stressed out. Overall, I plan on using them again. Word of caution — they can get filled up quickly so please call in advance time to get your reservations on the books — if you like my post please submit “like” — thank you!

Our pups love it! Super clean. Amazing staff that dote on our fur babies while we’re away. UNFORTUNATELY, the rude treatment of human beings is unacceptable. I’ve been spoken to in a very condescending manner and witnessed staff being berated. I gave grace thinking our experience was a One Off…but reading additional reviews here I now know it’s a recurring theme. FORTUNATELY, there are other great choices in our area.

I’d like to start with the staff were very kind to me and from what I seen, my cats too.My problem is, they didn’t feed them the food I brought with them. I had brought 5 days worth of food for both of my cats and had given them instructions on when and how to feed them. None of that was done. As soon as I got home they both ate a full can of food, as if they didn’t eat at all while they were there. I did see dry food on the counter at the lodge for, what seemed to me, all of the cats. Unfortunately one of my cats has serious stomach problems and has been hospitalized several times before. I hope that doesn’t happen again. I should’ve listened to the reviews and steered clear of here.I’m not saying it’s not a good place but it’s definitely not right for me. If you have animals with specific needs, it would be in yours and your animals best interest to not stay here.

The ONLY reason I am giving 2 stars and not less is because of the young lady who was the one actually taking care of our pup and also Brooke who made our reservation for us who was very friendly. The woman in charge on the other hand (I believe her name is Joie) was extremely unprofessional and rude! Reprimanding her employees harshly in front of me during my first visit and had a very cold and unwelcoming attitude as I asked basic questions. I should have seen the red flags and left then but unfortunately I was desperate and this was the only place taking appointments short notice.We also paid $65.00 for a bath/nail trim during his stay. Upon picking him up, we noticed his paws were dirtier than when we picked him up. I called and explained this to Brooke who showed genuine concern and offered another bath for free, which I found perfectly acceptable. I wasn't even mad, I just wanted the situation fixed in some way.Upon returning to board him again, for the second part of our vacation, I met with the manager/owner again. Within minutes of walking in, she turned to a young lady to her side and said "oh... this is the guy that complained about the bath you gave his dog". I was left in an awkward, stare-down with this girl who had no idea what to say. I simply explained that I had already spoken to Brooke and that she offered a free bath and therefore it wasn't a big deal. To which the owner/manager responded that since SHE didn't offer that, it was not valid. She proceeded to defend her side by saying that the dogs were allowed to run around outside after a bath (which doesn't make much sense to me). In this moment, I lost all respect for her and her business. It makes me sick to have had to board my pup with them and I am relieved to have other better options now.

Have visited this lodge twice and both times my wild fur friends had the absolute best time! They came home happy and exhausted. They love the exercise time in the forested yard and I know the staff do everything to keep them fed, watered and pampered throughout their stay. The facility is clean and the staff are very welcoming and professional, they even wash your pets bedding before you pick them up. The owner runs a tight ship and truly cares about all her clients. She puts the safety of the pets first and goes above and beyond to accommodate her guests needs and requests. Highly recommend this place and it's services.

This is the second time i have used the over the rainbow bridge cremation services. For a sad reason in losing my babies but they took great care of my Bruiser and he is still with me. Now his sister Bella will be with me always. The woman at the desk today was so kind and loving, helping me navigate everything i needed because i was an absolute wreck and she didn’t shy away from my sobbing on and off. I will be so grateful when i get her back and she will be with me always as well next to her brother. She had no issue in my request to have her cremated in a certain blanket that I brought, she helped me choose the paw print because again, i was a total mess. She didn’t pressure me when i was taking me last moments to pet her fur and tell her how much i love her, i just cant praise her enough.

My cat was boarded here while on vacation. All seemed well when I dropped her off; it was clean and had a good space for her.Upon picking her up the cat section was filthy! Food all over the floor, urination on the floor. She seemed to not have been eating. When I got her home, she was tired of course but could not eat, drink or groom herself. It seemed to be painful for her.She is now in ICU with an infection and we are waiting on results for any kidney failure.

Very nice place. Brought our cat and African gray parrot to be cremated. They are the cheapest I've found in the county and provide an excellent service for the price, which includes a funerary box. I have never used them for anything but cremations, which includes goats.

Love it here. My dog who is super anxious gets excited when we pull into the drive way. They take care of my dog and I get great peace of mind when I’m not home knowing she’s well cared for. Plus the price is always way less than I expect.

I am only putting 1 star since zero stars is not an option. The staff (particularly the lady working the front desk pretty sure she is the owner) is extremely rude and unprofessional. I made a reservation with them on 10/28/2022 and went and toured the same day. When I got there the lady at the front seemed bothered that I was there. After the tour I asked if I could upgrade my reservation to the higher package. They lady told me there systems were being slow and that she would update it when they were working( she took down my name and other information) I called back earlier this week since I never heard back from them and when I was asking questions about my reservation the front desk hag was rude and being very short with me. I asked if she could check the computer to see what they had listed for my reservation and she told me their computers don't work like that. I called the next day again and the same woman answered the phone, I asked the same questions from the day before and got the same response in addition she told me they likely did not have the room I was trying to get available. She then told me that she had someone else on the other line that was being very patient( as was I) and said she would look in to it. As I was trying to ask another question she hung up on me. I immediately found a new place to board my dog, at a cheaper price with better quality staff.P.S. this facility does group play with the dogs they board with no supervision. This was told to me by the staff.Highly do not recommend this place unless you hate your pet.

My precious little fur baby passed away a week ago. I called them up and asked about the prices about having my baby cremated. Kathy, the person that helped me, was very kind and caring, she helped me on the phone, and when I went to drop him off she was super kind and caring. When I went back to pick him up, everything was set up so perfectly. I am super appreciative of how everything was handled.

Had my 2 dogs stay during Halloween weekend while I was out of town. They were so sweet and handled my crazy self. What made it better is I just received pictures of my babies in Halloween costumes! Hoping to see them their again very soon! So glad to send them there and know they are safe! Definitely recommend!

The only way this place could be better is if it were closer to where I live. My boys seem genuinely happy staying here. So much so I almost feel jealous that they don't seem to miss me very much! Haha. Not really... it's a huge weight off my shoulders to know how happy and well taken care of they are when I have to leave!

I ended up canceling the reservation because I found a family member to watch my dogs. I dis tour the facility and it was nice! I have a dog that digs her way out of fences and these kennels are made like the ones at the humane society. Concrete and chain link...not possible to dig out of. The play yard always has a person on duty when the dogs are out...that makes me feel better about leaving my dogs here. The kennels are spacious and comfy looking with indoor and outdoor area in each one. I toured a few dog boarding facilities in my area and this one was by far the best. There were no distressed sounding barks like there were at other places.

We made reservations in advance for our dog and Guinea pigs. The staff was completely unwelcoming and upon returning to pick up our pets was still unprofessionally rude….it felt like taking care of our pets was a huge inconvenience to them. I would not recommend.

My dogs Sofia and Minnie absolutely love this place! The pool is incredible for the hot days and they have yummy treats on the holidays. Not to mention the cute photos on holidays as well. And they always have a bath and nail trim before coming home. Believe me...they are great here.

We initially placed a deposit for a trip until I broke my foot and had to cancel the trip. We couldn’t get the deposit back but they offered to put the deposit towards grooming. They did a fabulous job on our dog. It was literally the best cut she’s ever had and the employees were so helpful and nice to my husband. We for sure plan on going back for grooming and eventually boarding.

We just used the Over The Rainbow Bridge Crematorium located on the same property of the PPL. What a wonderful staff! David is so compassionate. A beautiful tribute to my beautiful girl Cayenne. A lovely box for her ashes, Rosemary to spread for remembrance. A clipping of her fur, a lovely charm and a paw print with wildflower seeds to plant. A beautiful scrolled paper with her name and “The Rainbow Bridge” story. They’ve made a most difficult time much easier. Thank you .

They helped me socialize B when he was a puppy and I feel like they are family because of their welcoming and professional care they consistently provide. We have two boys playing baseball which often takes us away for weekends. We have repeatedly booked Peninsula Pet Lodge in Olalla for long weekends so our energetic puppy isn't neglected. Our fur baby gets pretty of playtime, attention, and care while we are away. Joie even let's her play in an extra play group to burn off her excess energy, which means we get a worn out pup that had a great time and is able to relax at home.

They are so great with our dog. We have been using them with our first dog orbit and even made sure he had his medications when he was older and needed extra care. We are now on our 2nd dog who is 8 and couldn't be happier with his care.

Left our dog there for over a week. We constantly called for updates which they were happy to give us. My only issues are cost, they told us when we were leaving that they would give her a bath before we picked her up. Which they did but what they didn't tell us was that it was $25 for the bath, we assumed it was included because they told us they would do it, the did not ask us if we wanted it. Also our dog seems really scared to bark. She always barked when people came to the house and now she doesn't. Also when I try to get her to "speak" for a treat she tucks her tail a runs off which she has never done before. So I am in the middle of the road for this place. It's priced good and customer service was good but I didn't get the same dog back that I dropped off.

My dog is incredibly clingy and does not do well with most people outside the home, but he loves going to Peninsula Pet Lodge. They take such good care of him. They understand his quirks and accepts him for the odd little dog that he is!
