Affordable, amazing and down right awesome!We have had an AMAZING experience with them. They are so friendly, very open and have great communication. My dog, Flash, LOVED coming here. We were only going to bring him one day of our vacation, but even driving by, he got way too excited. We ended up doing drop offs almost every day because it was better then him being in the hotel room. They even bathed him for us for an excellent price. I HIGHLY recommend these guys and ask for a grooming. I'm simply amazed and appreciate the hospitality for our fur baby. I would give a million stats if I could!!!

I had a problem here, but not necessarily a repeating problem. A large husky-type dog mouthed and terrified my toy Aussie. I had to yell at the dog because there was no supervisor in the room. My poor baby was shaking. The dog was crated, but the damage was done. Fortunately, there was no physical harm. Not sure about taking my dogs back at this point. I understand that mistakes can be made, but I think that this was foreseeable and preventable.

Best place ever. We live in Lacey Washington and will do the drive for our Milo puppy. She walks out of there happy. And to top it off she gets to go to the beach. She knows when we are going, she gets so happy.

While I'm truly sorry to hear about your pup's tough time, I wanted to share a heartwarming story from our visit Sunday at Paws & Claws.Our 15-year-old Figgins, a charming cocker/sheltie mix had quite the tangled tale to tell. We took him to Paws & Claws grooming salon, "grooming aversive" and in need of some extra TLC.The groomer met with the me, discussed his specific needs, and took special care to ensure Figgins felt safe and comfortable throughout the process.I received a call to pick up him up, and our groomer came out to chat about what they were able to do for him. The result? The best grooming experience Figgins has had in his impressive 15 years!———————————————————————-Never have I met a kinder group of people to care for my critters. Genuine care, I’m saying! They have come to my home to pick up my pup for a day of day care when I injured my knee- and returned her home letter that day!They are always there to take out for babies in whenever we need them where they receive the Royal Treatment the whole time that they’re there.

Both dogs and humans receive top quality personal attention from Katelyn & Jaden at Paws & Claws. Katelyn has learned from her experience at big kennels in Texas and California that dogs are happiest and most relaxed when in a pack rather than locked in individual cages . Watch as your dog is introduced to the other dogs, a few at a time, upon arrival. Even at night all dogs are watched over. Reasonable rates. Even outside official hours you will be served if you happen to arrive late. K&J are working on setting up a dog taxi to drop off or pick up your family members in the Ocean Shores area. How is that for convenience? When your dog is at Paws & Claws you have no reason for worry or concern, your dog is in canine heaven!

My fiancé and I went out of town on vacation and boarded our pup here. They were amazing! I was gonna be late getting into town and they had him dropped off at my apartment so I didn’t have to wait until the next day to go pick him up. When he arrived home I could tell that even through his anxiety he had a good time! When I took him for his temperament test one of the ladies met us outside and he went up to her like he had known her his whole life, and when we went in to drop him off for the 2 nights he went right in with no problems (until I left but that’s a him problem definitely not their fault!). They were amazing with my separation anxiety ridden dog! Will definitely be back when needed

I have used Paws and Claws several times in the past both for grooming appointments and for daycare. The staff at Paws and Claws have always been extremely caring for my dog. My dog is a rescue and has a tough time trusting others, but the staff at Paws and Claws has always been patient and gentle with her as she warms up. I highly recommend Paws and Claws’ services!

We just returned to Ocean Shores after being at our midwest home for the summer. We were pleased to see that Paws&Claws now has a groomer...since our golden doodle was due for a makeover. We were not disappointed. Beyond Bader's excitement to play with his old canine friends..he now has a very nice haircut....and is ready to settle into his home at OS. Thank you to everyone who makes us feel so welcome.

Andrew is awesome! Our Maggie always gets excited when we pull in the parking lot. She loves going there and playing with the other dogs. Even though she gets a bath and her nails clipped ( which she wont let anyone else do ), She is still always happy to be left there for a couple of hours. Reasonably priced daycare solution for your dog.

Paws and claws is amazing. I worked there for about a year and a half and they were great to work with even with my ADHD disability; not to mention they all treat the dogs with respect and nothing but love every single one of them. They make sure they get nothing but the best care before they go home with their owners. I highly recommend.

Took my dogs here for the first time while visiting the area and definitely won't be leaving them there as the lady was very rude when I walked in asking about prices. The dogs inside were barking and she kept yelling at them to "Shut up" after talking to some residents around town I am glad I didn't leave my dogs with her. They advertise free range but several people have let me know that is not the case for all only favorites. Keep your dogs with you or leave them somewhere else!

This place was great for our older female dog. This was the first time that we took her to a dog day care so we didn’t know what to expect. According to the staff, she had a blast and was super comfortable with the other dogs. Usually when she socializes for a little bit she will get panty and want to go home. She was not panty at all and didn’t seem like she wanted to leave. Great experience.

We've had these folks watch our dogs twice now. The owner is such a nice lady. She's a young lady with a lock on the area for doggie daycare. Outside of locals hosting in their houses, she's the only one. Yet she's still affordable and pleasant to deal with. Overnite stays are easy to have as well. They are a full service doggie care business.

Every time we go my dogs tail wags like a bull whip in his excitement. He loves the staff and I feel confident that he is well taken care of. It's his vacation while I'm on my vacation. Their grooming is always perfect too, lots of places just clip nails but they polish them up and round them out with the Dremel.

Paws & Claws was such a wonderful find for us. We had a trip scheduled to go out of town and our regular caregiver canceled on us, and we didn't know what to do on such short notice. We're very particular who we put our little man Charles with. We saw their add and called Katelyn at Paws and Claws. My wife and Katelyn from the very start talked like they were old friends and of course they could take care of Charlie as long as he was up to date on his shots and got along with the pets. Plus the price that she quoted was very reasonable.We left Charlie for 5 day's. The first thought on our minds when the plane landed was our Charlie boy.We called and we couldn't get there until late and she stayed until we got there. Charlie was in Great spirits and happy to see us. Usually he won't eat, but he never missed a meal. He had had such a good time there that he acted like he didn't want to leave. I know that this is a long review but if You are as particular as we are then you need to know about Katelyn and, Paws and Claws, Your family member will get the best treatment available and is never locked up. I brought my older dog, Sashai, who has hip problems, in a whle back for the first time and they groomed her exxactly as I wanted. The staff is very friendly and they were very gentle when handling her. Sasha is going to be a regular client.

Andrew has a skill that is amazing with dogs. He can calm them easily with his voice, and even recognizes the barks of specific dogs! Our dogs eagerly enter his Diamond Dog's Daycare, even tho he does grooming things to them that they really don't enjoy. He makes their experience better with his dog loving attitude. The dogs sense his good spirit. It's all paws up for this place!

Every time we are in Ocean Shores, we let Cerberus (our now 8 month old lab puppy) spend at least a day here (typically on packing day). There is one girl we see every time and we feel completely safe when we bring him in. Her sister also does on site grooming, which we also do each trip.Great people and they care for my dog wonderfully

This was the most expensive and most terrible groom my dog has ever received. The groomer had to reschedule due to a family emergency, which I understood completely. She asked me if I could come the next day at 10; even though I was in town on vacation, I agreed. The groomer showed up one hour and ten minutes late. She rushed me through the door and looked at me confused when I handed her my dog's leash, despite having told her twice before she asked, "what are we doing?" I told her I would like a traditional schnauzer cut. My dog is ten years old; I have never once had to explain to a groomer what that cut looks like. She then replied "but she doesn't have any lines." Admittedly, I was about 3-5 weeks late getting her groomed because I just couldn't coordinate with my usual groomer. Regardless, this still perplexed me since the lines shouldn't be necessary. The groomer then announced, as I was leaving, that I must pay cash when I come back. I only had VISA. I asked her if she knew where an ATM was. The ATM she directed me to was not working. I had to search around and pay a $3 ATM fee. When I returned to pick my dog up, I was not offered change (of course I am only had $20 bills because of the ATM fiasco), so the groomer earned herself a $5 tip. I would normally be fine with this, except my dog is so unrecognizable, my other dog growled at her when we got in the car. Half of her right eyebrow is completely cut off, her legs are shaved, and she barely had any of her beard or skirt remaining (the long hair below her chest). Her harness wasn't even put back on correctly. I feel completely outraged by this experience. This woman is a con artist. Do not ever use this groomer.

It was okay, we will not be going back. Our dogs nails were cut too short and both of them had blood all over their front paws. I paid way too much to have to bath them again when they get home. Wasn't even able to pay with card because her phone wasn't charged. Thank goodness I had cash on me. Also the floors were soapy when we first got there. Lots of yelling.

Such a cute shop, the dogs have a lot of freedom and are always happy. Definitely a loud kennel, staff is friendly and helpful. They're the only groomers, and kennel we trust!

Brought my rescue shitzu in for the first time, she is a very nervous and scared lil girl. They were wonderful with her, gave her a complete spa day, she came out beautiful and even happily wagging her tail! Usually at petsmart she would be shaking , I will definitely be using Paws and Claws in the future.

Brought my dog in just to see if they could help with her nail that over grew and they got her in and out no problem. I am really impressed with how easy it was to get her in with no problem just for nails. I will definitely be coming back with her for all her grooming needs. I am 100% happy with the service there.

When i first brought my small dogs in. I was so nervous. I have a 1 and a half year old puppy and a 13 year old. The eldest is a cocker spaniel and the puppy is a dachshund. I arrived and saw these big dogs and never having boarded before was nervous. Came back the next day and found out my worry was for nothing. I will definitely be using Paws amd Claws for any future boarding needs in the future. Thank you so much

The ladies here got us in super quick at the last minute! We are visiting from out of town, took our dogs in on our way to the beach and they were ready at about the same tine we were! After a few days on the beach, they needed a bath and a trim. So happy to have clean dogs to take home!! So appreciate their willingness to work with us!
