We are very grateful to have this little grocery store in town. We go to the grocery store several times a week for fast food when it's been too busy at home to cook. The fried chicken is usually very well seasoned. They have great potato wedges, which can be enormous! I am not a huge Mac and cheese lover. However, I hear it's very popular with other locals. I have tried the chicken tenders, which are also large pieces of while chicken breasts. You aren't getting any filler meat here! Great price for the quality. I have tried the Tennessee hot chicken fingers. I was not a fan.This little grocery store has some good sales, which make it comparable to Safeway but not Wal-Mart. No one can beat Wal-Mart's prices. The service is much better than Wal-Mart.They don't have a large variety of produce or ethnic options. But they have enough to get you going.The store is always clean and smells like the deli. The cashiers are usually nice and friendly. Everyone has their days. Their floral and plants are very good.

They have the most variety of groceries available in Ocean Shores. You can get plenty of good frozen vegan items, creamers, sour cream, tofu, and produce. My husband enjoys their glass bottle soda deals. There's usually little to no wait to check out and the cashiers are friendly. The prices can be a bit high and the bathroom location is in the back and it is kind of strange. Other than that it's a good grocery store for a small town.

Here's a thought. Why not give residents (with Community Club cards) 10% off? Prices are also high at other stores here. Why not put in a variety store just beyond city limits ( Fred Meyer, etc)?

This general store has many things many people would want. Although when we went to get a ham this store didn't even have a ham. I was sorely disappointed not even be able to have a ham for dinner. I mean, come on, its ham, it's not caviar. REALLY?It is important to have a clean store, fairly well stocked, I must give it except for some of the things that most people would want, and it's important to have pleasant courteous personnel working for you, it's important to have grocery cards that have 4 wheels that work that is important. It's important to have grocery checkers and bag boys and ladies, it's important to have money to check out people. It's even important to have a parking lot with parking spaces for cars to park in. But if you don't have a ham for people to buy to have for dinner why do you have to have a grocery store?I can't afford steak for dinner even though they have steak . I don't want fish, they have those 2. What I wanted for dinner to fix my family was a ham. No ham. So, no stars, at least no bonus stars for them.

Every day seems like prices keep going even more higher. They were already over priced as is. It honestly is one of the worst things about living in oceon shores is that we are stuck with these stupid high prices at iga. We try to do all our shopping in Aberdeen due to this place is such a rip off. Just a few examples from today. Hot dog buns.. 3.99... bar s hot dogs 3.99. Gallon of water 2.19. Frigging frozen pizza that is 4.99 in Aberdeen 12.99 here.. not sure how this isn't some formal of price gouging here. Then to top it off rude guy stocking produce and coughing all over it as he goes along his way and gives people dirty looks. If coming out here to visit do your self a favor and avoid this place.

depending on who you check out with sometimes the employees are very nice and sometimes they are downright rude, and it's really just a toss up of who you will get. good store though.

It has the appeal of a small town family oriented business. Good little grocery store that has everything you need for a day to the ocean. Even has hoodies and tshirts, Ocean shores memorabilia.

As there is not too many options for shoping here, this could be one of the best places for Shopping as a tourist. A bit pricey but clean and organized. Free parking available. Hot prepared food and cold meals. A bakery section too.

12/01/2021I was on a road trip and decided to stay in Ocean Shores for my birthday. Unfortunately, there wasn't a birthday cake to purchase there at IGA. 🤣 So I purchased some cinnamon rolls for $6.99. They were just ok. This the only major grocery store in town. The staff are friendly and the lines moved fast though.

It's a typical IGA plus a little more. It's a little bigger and is the only grocery store for Ocean Shores. Prices are decent as is the selection. Nothing fancy but more than you'd think.

Community conscious and active in community. Good food sales. Customer service between a 3-4. EEs seem tired and not real happy. Friendly, but rarely smile.Store has a pretty good variety. Clean and stocked.

One stop shopping. I'm here all 7 days ea month. You pay a bit more than Costco, but full service. Always friendly...and you can trust them to be fair and honest.

All and all it's okay. Not spectacular but far from bad.They generally have a pretty good selection, and the prices are a little higher than the large stores.The deli does make some excellent Chicken & BBQ brisket.Their meat selection looks very good overall.You can buy liquor and wine there too. Again the selection is good and the prices on liquor and wine are reasonable.In summary; it's way better than driving all the way to Hoquiam or Aberdeen if you just need to pick up a few things.

Fantastic weather, 65F high and 50F low. Beats Seattle at 92. ;)People here are so friendly and helpful.Lots of wildlife, deer, eagles, and sea creatures.Walking the beach and using the the electric bicycles was a blast!Cant wait to come back.

Please remember that you are in a small town and it's not built for the diverse crowds of international tastes of tourists.For a grocery that serves a population of 7,000 people.. this store is absolutely amazing. Yes, there are occasionally grumpy cashiers with lines wrapped around the corner if you go grocery shopping right after work or on Friday evenings. Please be patient. Small town, so please understand that it is not going to be a fast in/out. There is no self checkout.The deli food is actually great! I am addicted to their fresh fried chicken and whole breast strips. I would dare say that as a southern girl from NC, this is better than Popeyes, church's chicken, and KFC!! (I didn't say Bojangles.)I have enjoyed their lemon bunt cakes and chocolate gnash while on my hormonal weeks. I can not speak about the cupcakes and cookies since I have not yet tried those.I found the regular chocolate cake a bit dry.The garlic bread (take and bake in foil) is good. My husband can eat the whole loaf. I cut the corn meal off mine due to allergies.The flavor is buttery and just enough seasoning.Watch for their sales!! They are equal to or better than Wal-Mart when on sale. These items can vary from meat to dairy to sweets.They go fast!The store is always tidy and has a steady stream of people. They are also very active in the community and helping everyone from the local animal shelter to food pantries.They sponsor many events and help out our tiny community.They lack in fresh greens like mustard greens, green beans, cilantro, bean sprouts, and tofu. However, the population here doesn't eat these things much, so it's no wonder they don't stock up. It would be a waste.Please be nice to other people and remember that you are in a tiny town.

This place has very high prices because it's the only grocery store in the area and there are a lot of tourists. They overinflate the prices because the tourists have no choice but to come here for groceries. That's a damn shame, and is not in the spirit of providing exceptional guests or customer services.

This place is so expensive!!! No sign on the single doughnuts. I asked a girl working in the deli the price, she said $3.00!! Then the clerk up front said $2.49!! Inconsistent and still ridiculous! I get it this is a tourist town but this store price gouges on many other items. They had a bag of Tortilla chips for $7.00!!! Also there are some RUDE employees here as well!! Don't ask what aisle something is on because you will get attitude! They have a monopoly being the only store in town. I would recommend purchasing your groceries before you get into town!!

The clerks are always very nice! I wish there was some kind of daily discounts or rates for LOCAL people because this is the only store really with in a 40min drive, we have no choice sometimes but the prices are so high!
