The food was decent but nothing extraordinary. There were not many people there but the wait was about 35-40 minutes. The owner obviously likes to eat there as well as I saw him walk in and out of the kitchen several times with a sausage in his mouth. Very unprofessional. Made me lose my appetite a bit. They had music playing very loud from a speaker right next to us so that was a bit distracting. Probably a one and done experience for me.

My friend and I both got steak and clam chowder. The chowder was really good. Nice and thick with great flavor. The steak was slightly disappointing. The cut of meat itself was really good, but mine was definitely overcooked from the rare I requested. It was more of a medium. It also just didn't have a lot of flavor. The potatoes were also fairly plain. I was just expecting better for the price. The live Irish band that was playing was really good, and we enjoyed listening to the music as we ate.

We stopped in quickly for their seafood chowder, which was highly recommended by our family, who has been doing business in Ocean Shores. I usually prefer clam chowder. Their seafood chowder was awesome! Our server was awesome, too. Once he knew we had an appointment to make, he was on top of everything! I'd go again. Too bad I don't live nearby.

It’s no surprise that this place is short-staffed. If the workers’ attitudes reflect management, this establishment is on the brink of shut down. Our party was told “45 mins” wait time. We waited, understanding that it was a busy evening (even though there were several empty tables and seats at the bar we were not allowed to occupy). After over an hour, we were seated. After another 40 minutes and multiple attempts to secure service (at bar, host stand, passing food runners delivering meals to the band), I again approached the host and asked about our server. The host and other workers seemed very relaxed at the host stand…no care in the world. No sense of urgency or desire to assist or listen to someone whose family of 8 was celebrating a birthday and eager to order food.I was told that there were other tables waiting an hour and a half to order food. WHY would you seat a table and not tell them it would be another 90 minutes for any employee to acknowledge us? In shock, I admittedly raised my voice to say, “An hour and a half???” The employee next to the host stand, with apparently nothing better to do than roll silverware, gave me an EXTREMELY condescending hand gesture to lower my tone. At this point, frustrated and now disrespected, I told the worker she would not treat me this way. She mocked me, at which point, I returned to my table, collected my family, and exited. Two other members of my family approached the stand, reluctant to believe what had just happened. They were told, “get out of here!”The decor and ambiance of the restaurant were lovely. And apparently, the well-fed band playing that evening was going to be amazing. Our family, however, did not get to enjoy it. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a restaurant and I worked in one for over 10 years. Such a shame that these employees are treated in such a way that they believe it’s okay to escalate issues with patrons, behave rudely, and ruin a perfectly happy occasion. Our bill would have easily exceeded $600. This would have earned one server a great tip and would have made our birthday girl so very happy. What a shame.

Stopped in for lunch and had the lamb stew and Shepherds pie. Both were very good, especially the Shepherds pie. Also had a hard apple cider and Irish Red ale. The cider and ale were particularly nice! Great flavor for both. Also had the clamp chowder, which was a combination clamp and corn chowder. This was really good as well. All in all, a good lunch with plenty of leftovers.

I would have taken pictures of our meals, but the food was too good! Every time we make a stop in Ocean Shores, this place is a must. The atmosphere (on a night without live music) is super Neurodivergent friendly. Low warm-toned lights, ambient music isn't too loud, staff are courteous, and the food is consistently delicious. I have never had a bad experience here when I lived in WA or visiting for pleasure.Best Irish Soda Bread I've ever had. Flavorful, not dry at all, and almost springy texture. Perfect with or without butter, but I highly recommend the butter to make it extra sumptuous! The salmon is clearly fresh. Steak cooked to perfection. Burgers are juicy, but not so juicy you feel sick. Fish and chips are crisp with perfect breading. The roasted red potatoes are so simple but devilishly good. Kitchen is more than accommodating if you'd like to make a slight adjustment for preferences. The Hot Toddy and the Irish Coffee are lovely on a brisk day. Never too sweet and just the right balance in their pours. This place is a treasure and tradition for my family.Vegetarian options: Clearly listed vegetarian options on the menu (and no it isn't just mushroom risotto!)

I visited Galway pub this weekend with a group of seven. The food was very good. My Irish stew was hearty and delicious, I love the mashed potatoes inside. My other favorites were the Shepard pie and corned beef hash sandwich. The building is huge and I loved the live music. Make sure to che k out the gift shop they have a huge selection of goods to choose from!

One of the most unique restaurants and pubs in Washington State. You can find something new every time you go there. Most of all, they have more live music, and generally good, then any other place around. For RV retirees like us, having live music in the late afternoon (Happy Hour) even brought us away from the beach on a nice day. We make the effort to come here every summer, and this time, visited Galway Bay 3 times in one week.

We had the world famous corn beef sandwich, The corn beef very tasty the sandwich was toasted so long you couldn't bite the bread It was horrible! My grandson had chips that were homemade also hard as a rock With no seasoning only tasted like old oil. The coffee was great however and so was the glass of grapefruit juice that my grandson had. Outside of that we will never go there again!!!

Very nice staff. The atmosphere was great with Irish music playing. Plenty of seating I even saw a door leading to an outdoor area where smoking is allowed. There is a sizalbe gift shop with and assortment of Irish goods. Beyond that there is a waiting area, in that area there is a room filled with cigars for purchase. After that is the restaurant/ bar. There is an additional entrance on the other side if you don't enter through the gift shop. We went for lunch, the prices are very reasonable. There is also a sizeable drink menu. I had bangers and mash and my wife had a corned beef sandwich, both were excellent. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: There's an area that is kid friendly separate from the main dining area.

I just walked out after 10 minutes at the bar where three employees looked at me as if I was from another planet. Heard it was a great places wanted to try their corn beef sandwich but if you can’t get service how are you expected to get ratings other than 1 star. What a joke.

What a delightful surprise in Ocean Shores! Our party of three for lunch feasted on the "Stew" of the day, as well as Shepherd's Pie. All were delicious, and were accompanied by a cold and crispy, old fashioned green salad (ranch on the side). Surrounded by Irish memorabilia, our friendly and informative server/manager Lori made us feel welcomed and appreciated. Did I mention the stew of the day was DELICIOUS? The midday adventure was topped off by a lengthy visit to the attached Irish store, which is chock-full of ALL things Irish. A great addition to (sometimes sleepy) Ocean Shores.

I'm kicking myself for not taking any photos of ALL our DELICIOUS drinks and meal. I think I've eaten here four times and every single time have been absolutely delighted with the meal and the service. Most recent win was the hamburger salad! Yes! A crumbled hamburger on a salad! With bacon and blue cheese. Basically my idea of heaven. And the corned beef sandwich and house made chips are always great.UPDATE (March 2022) Oyster sliders were delicious but my Old Fashioned cocktail was way too STRONG!!!UPDATE (December 2023,) OMG the Irish Stew!!!!!UPDATE (March 2024) Hot Toddy was delightful
