Excellent management, staffing, and product selection.I just finished shopping this evening , and once again, I was weary following a long day at work. First time shopper and boy I was shocked on how many products they offered. Its like a grocery store minus fresh food departments. Employees were friendly, parking lot was clean and easy, and cashiers promptly came to help. Even though I have used to their competitors, I was not shocked about pricing.

Mathew is amazing. So helpful and friendly. He goes above and beyond.My only complaint is a lot of the tags say one price but you get charged different. Like today I bought dog biscuits, the tag said 5.75 but my receipt says 6.75. This isn’t the first time. Please make sure the tags match the actual price. Thank You. Otherwise I love your store.

Great little store with a huge selection. Items are constantly rotated, restocked, and change throughout the seasons. Staff work hard and are constantly restocking. At times the volume of customers in the store can become overwhelming for them, so be nice to them. The gentleman who works during the day, restocking and merchandising, is friendly and always says Hello to everyone who walks in. He's always ready to help and if he doesn't have something will go out of his way to find it for you if he can. This gentleman deserves a raise.

Not a dollar store. Handy when you first move there. Prices are a little competitive, they have some brand name items and other items are more like dollar store quality. Bag you own items!!!

First time stopping in and the staff was very welcoming and friendly towards us. The lady when we were coming through the door walked us through what they carry and where to find exactly what we needed. Really good deals on products for the home, food, and cleaning supplies. Loved that you could get a few snacks at just a dollar each. Pricing competitive with that of Walmart. Will definitely be coming back especially when shopping on a budget.

I wasn't familiar with Dollar General before they opened this location in Ocean Shores and for a time, I never went in, thinking, "You've seen one dollar store, you've seen them all. Couldn't have been more wrong! A small selection of $1 merchandise in pretty much all departments, but the majority of the items offered are just priced extremely low. Great place for dinner name brand toiletries and cosmetics, budget dishes, cookware and soft goods like towels and shower curtains. And my favorite...SNACKS!

Out of stock on many items. Prices are fair, generally, service by employees has been very good. Would like to see some meat and produce added but it may not be possible due to spoilage and margins on the bottom line. We are thankful for the competition vs. IGA, prices have been the sky is the limit as they held a monopoly on groceries for many years in this community. Thanks it may help in the long run to lower theirs.

This is a friendly place. The checker was very helpful. The parking lot was easy to maneuver. The store was plenty busy but everyone was given personal attention. Employees were quick and efficient without seeming "hurried". Overall a very pleasant experience.

All the employees have always been friendly and helpful. They have a good inventory with about everything you need on vacation or Ocean Shore resident .From the healthy snacks and all kinds of candy ,chips , stocked cooler with all kinds of dairy foods frozen foods , paper product to the tooth brush , tooth paste or deodorant , vitiams, hair products aspirin and other cold/flu products evn ear and eye drops . They even have decor for your home with a seasonal section for the holidays and planting products when in season.Everything is priced very competitive.

First time I've come in here. Reminded me of grocery outlet a bit. Only thing I think that could've been better was maybe better organization. Other than that, store had a variety of things. Great prices. Plenty of beverages to pick from. Food was a bit lacking. But decent store. Would check it out again in the future.

I was at your store this week. I was at the back of a long line and the girl checking was rude to everyone in line. When it was my turn I placed my items on the counter and said that I would also like 2 bags of ice and she said “ That’s not going to happen “ I understand that many places are short handed due to COVID-19 but rudeness like this is just unacceptable.

Nice staff, but fairly expensive, if you're coming from out of town I would highly recommend going to Walmart in Aberdeen which is substantially cheaper than the store. Saw a couple energy shots for a dollar but most stuff was very expensive and not anywhere near a dollar. For the price will just be going to the IGA and other stores in town.

I grew up in Texas where these are everywhere.. moving to Washington iv have missed these! They have a good selection of healthy or unhealthy snacks, cute cheap decor, and anything you need because you forgot to pack it. It was clean and the workers were quick and helpful!

Dollar General in Ocean Shores is not like your usual Dollar store where everything is a dollar. Mostly everything is not a dollar. This is the new version of a Genuine General Store Dollar General is trying to pickup where the five and dimes and Woolworths left off. They literally have almost everything under the sun.It's not a dollar but you don't have to drive 20 miles to the next town to go to Walmart. Thank God ! The people are very friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you want, they will order it for you,Now that's small town friendly.They also have a Western Union there and it works great. Masks are required and they spray counters between customers.So if it's your first time enjoy yourself, you really will be surprised at how much they have.Thanks for reading.Jim Mattingly,Google Guide 7

It was packed, workers were really nice and Helpful. Better prices then the main store in town. But it worries me about local businesses going out of business, because of out of state big business owners coming in and chasing them out.

First time in this store and will not be the last. It's not as inexpensive as the DOLLAR TREE as prices vary but still a good place to shop for cheap snacks. Carries a lot of items and like the DT carries low end hardware items that are serviceable in a pinch.

Had them all over the east coast where I'm originally from. Glad to finally have a reasonably priced store without having to drive to Aberdeen/Hoquiam.I think its funny how people that have never had a Dollar General around them until now think its a Dollar Tree. Different Name, different store. :)

Newer store in Ocean Shores. Stopped to see what it was like. Kind of a cross between a 7-11 and a full size grocery store. Looks like a place to get frozen foods and quick to make stuff, and snacks. Here I would rather go to the IGA in town. Might use for quick stops.

New little store in Ocean Shores. Similar to a dollar store, but they have other items as well. Picked up some diapers, wipes, paper plates, and snacks. Those items would of cost me a fortune at the other store. Nice to have another option besides the overpriced IGA down the road.

This store is like Grocery outlet/walmart/Bimart/a dollar store all rolled into one. They accept ebt cards as well. They are so helpful. Store was clean and safe during this pandemic. I was so pleased as a local to have them here for us. 🎄

I was glad to see a Dollar General store now in Ocean Shores, WA. Now, you can go straight there, without stopping at the Dollar Tree store, in Aberdeen, WA before coming into Ocean Shores. Plus, it's great to see you now have an additional option besides the IGA supermarket in Ocean Shores, or Walmart in Aberdeen (which is a 20-30 min. drive back from Ocean Shores- I'm just saying! :-/ )

It's a bargain store competing with IGA for grocery sales. Dollar General is definitely a place you should walk every aisle. It gets long lines but they get you out quick.
