I had the pleasure of spending a couple months in Ocean Park, WA, which necessitated local shopping. I travel a lot and see a lot of different stores, prices, and quality. This store, in my experience, is way below par. For one, there is a lack of organic food all throughout the store. Even in the frozen section, I could find maybe one thing that was organic. The selection is terrible! Of course, this is a small store and you would not expect to have things that a larger store would. However, there is an obvious lack of attention to carrying anything healthy. Maybe that's the way people want to eat in this area. I don't know. But there was almost nothing in the store that I wanted to eat. Secondly, the prices are shocking. I've been to some other stores that I thought had horrible pricing, but beats those stores by $1 or $2 per item!Thirdly, every single time I have shopped here, I have discovered that some of the food was rotten when I cut into it at home. I have had bad melon, half rotten onions, moldy mushrooms, and other things as well. Really, I am being generous giving them two stars but the staff was nice and helpful enough so I had to give them some stars for service.If you are traveling to the Washington coast, do yourself a favor and do some serious shopping before you get here. There is no place here to buy healthy food.

Just had the best Bacon Cheese Burger EVER!!! Anywhere on the Long Beach Peninsula you can't go wrong still this is the best so far!

Great!! I wish the seafood deli area would open longer. It was closed by the time that I got there around 6:13pm.

It's ok. They have the groceries I would expect to find a any Thriftway and name brand items at extremely premium prices.Most every item was 30% higher than I was expecting. A 16 Oz cup of macaroni & cheese from the deli was $12! If a 12-pack of Pepsi for $11 and $6 for bag of Fritos is the "everyday low price" then I'm not sure how the locals can afford to shop here... Probably drive out of state for supplies!The store is pretty clean and the staff is helpful if you need/ask them to be, but otherwise it's a fairly glum & average for these weird times.While there's no way I'd do my regular shopping at such an expensive store, I was glad to find everything I was looking for - even at the premium prices.

My preferred grocery store on the Peninsula. Better prices and better selection than the other options, but still not the greatest variety which is why I left off a star. That being said, this place is always clean, and the staff is always very polite and helpful. As I said, my preferred grocery store on the Peninsula.

You can find everything you need here. Always stocked, always clean and always friendly. Bakery/deli is delicious and always fresh. Meat prices and selection are better than the stores across the bridge. They even have a variety of unique items that you don’t normally find in small town stores. Some items are a little pricey but they do have decent weekly sales.

In OP It’s Okie’s or Jack’s or a 20 mile round trip to LB. Okie’s Thriftway has better produce and wider grocery selection. The deli is handy for lunches ect. It’s easier to negotiate parking compared with Jack’s. In 30 + years I’ve never encountered rude or disrespectful employees. A 11:00pm closing time would be great.

This store was clean and the employees were extremely patient and friendly. When I asked a woman who worked there (I am sorry I do not remember her name but she was doing price changes) where bug spray was she dropped everything she was doing to take me to the product with a smile on her face. You can not find that service anywhere. I really appreciated her and the whole team. Thank you

The store is older and a lot of the shelves are empty, however the staff is always so helpful and friendly. The produce is nice and fresh.And the deli makes amazing food!!!

This grocery store is awesome! Always has a wonderful variety of produce especially in season produce. And the meat is excellent as well. Friendly staff and there is never a long wait in line. a good variety of pretty much anything you need is here!

My card wasn't working. The staff and customer that was waiting were both patient and empathetic. Nothing more embarrassing than a card not working and a few bucks short on cash. I appreciate the positive attitude when things aren't going smoothly.

Staff was helpful and happy. Ashley was our clerk and made sure we had everything we needed. If wasnt for her we would of left behind a major reason why we came to store. So Ash thank you and may Okies Okie on. Oh the complaint, the DELI! Why even be opened with garbage dried up and unedible DISPLAYED food?

Great small grocery with a nice deli for take out food and good selection of fresh veggies and fruits. Absolutely top notch employees, can't ask for nicer, more friendly or more helpful staff. Love this store.I will add photos later.

I love going to Okies as soon as i hit town. There meats are just excellent. There selection of foods and their pricing is quite good. Everyone who works there is courteous and we have become friends with some of them.

I love this place and the people that work there so much. It sucks that it's so expensive (just like everything else here on the peninsula, with a small selection as well.) If you ask them to order a special item though, they usually can and do happily.

This Thriftway has THE BEST Brownies I have ever had, and I am a connoisseur. They're frosted, and they come in different types of frosting. (Chcolate, cream cheese... delicious.) You get them in single servings (maybe a whole tray too, don't remember) wrapped in saran wrap in the fresh bread aisle. If you're in the area, they're worth a stop. UPDATE Cowboy cookies in brown bag $$$ worth it.

staff was rude and motioned from halfway across the store for me to follow him. as he was an elderly guy and i am a younger, smaller female, i refused to follow him because he wouldn’t tell me where he wanted me to go. he demanded i follow him. I stayed put. eventually he motioned to my husband who was on the next aisle for us to come follow him so he could give us a mask- when he wasn’t even wearing one. He didn’t give us an opportunity to present vaccination information or ask us to put on a mask- just rudely motioned for us to follow. will not be returning.

One of the nicest small coast town supermarkets I've been to. Great selection. Produce, meat, fish, bakery. If you want to do your own cooking while at the coast this is the place to go. Everyone I came into contact was nice and helpful.

I shop there all the time. They almost always have what I need with a friendly, helpful staff.(Their bakery makes WONDERFUL cakes, which they are happy to personalize for birthdays or other occasions if you order a few days ahead)

Arrived in town late in day, 7:50pm on a dark and damp Thursday at end of December. Deli area was closed for the day as crew cleaned. Hot soup had been removed and we were informed no more available that night. Campbell to the rescue. Mmm Good!Got help at meat counter to get oyster jars. Found good looking pork on markdowns area. Produce looked nice!Found Supplies for our 4 day stay at Shakti Cove Cottages.Penny, at checkout, was very nice. Store had mostly busy, in and out shoppers on way home. Clean and tidy isles.Recommended..a bit pricey but better than driving clear to Astoria.

Great people except female who works customer service. She's very rude especially if you don't know that part of store closes early.Prices are a little high but you can get good deals if you check the ads of both stores up here.
