I belong to an organization that comes to Ocean Park once a year, if not more often. I have been staying at Ocean Park Resort for about 15 years or more, and this trip is the last time I will EVER stay there! I have a service dog and showed the woman at check-in. She said everything was fine. About 45 minutes later, there's a knock on the door. I open it. A man is standing there and says I'm the "general manager, " and I want to know what kind of dog you have, what kind of service does it do, and on and on. I told him go to get the letter from my Dr. and her ID card. He proceeds to tell me there is no ID for service digs and the letter from my Dr. doesn't mean anything. I tried to tell him yes it does, and yes, they do. That I paid $200.00 to register her. He waves this piece of paper in my face that says you don't register dogs. I asked if he was calling me a liar, and he proceeded to tell me if I continue to argue with him, he will kick us out. At this point, I am not going to argue with him and go to shut the door. He tries to put his foot in, and I told him if he didn't remove his foot, it could end up bruised. He left. Found out that night, he had treated 3 other couples who were with the same organization very rudely also. I called the people who had booked the rooms and told them all that happened. The Resort will NEVER see our group or SEE any of OUR MONEY AGAIN.!!!! TERRIBLE TREATMENT AND A RUDE MAN!!! 20 plus years of business lost because of him.

I loved my stay here. If you’re looking for the over hyped glitz and glam of most 21st century rv parks, you won’t find it here. You will find instead, a level spacious site with full hookups, grass, tall trees and plenty of peace and quiet. Located on 10 acres in the middle of a perfect little town and 6 blocks from the beach.

We had a very nice visit at the resort. It was probably one of the most relaxing stays we have had in a very long time. The room was so nice. We didn't even sleep on the regular bed. We used the Murphy bed in the livingroom Not only was it one of the most comfortable needs I've slept on, but it had a divine ocean view. We will return again and stay longer next time.

We stayed here once while we were in the area with our RV's (us and friends) working on the property we had purchased. Location is great, the owners are really nice and helpful and the park itself is well laid out and clean. We did not use the pool or on site restrooms so I can't speak to those, however if the rest of the park is a sign I'm sure they are great.I now return here regularly to fill propane tanks for our RVs. They offer this service most days during the day (office hours) unless for some reason the owner is out of the office. Super friendly and affordable pricing for propane in the Ocean Park Area

5 stars not for the facilities but for the atmosphere & friendliness of the owners & staff. We have been coming here for 30 years for our family reunion and hope to keep coming for another 30. A nice quiet place for us to camp & hang out with family.Quaint little shops, a grocery store & Jack's are just a couple blocks away. The beach is only a few more blocks away and there you can walk or drive for miles. If you are looking for a quiet get-away, this is it. If you are looking for a something vibrant with lots activities to keep you entertained, keep looking.

Its nice there at Ocean Park Resort. They keep the place up very well. And there's a laundry room so that if you need to wash some clothes you can. The owners are pretty nice. And Wanda in the office she's great and helps you out if she can.

Karen the supposed owner of the resort was horrible to me on the phone. I had explained my situation and she called me a liar. While on the phone she called me names and then tried to school me on how to manage my affairs. I will never spend a dime here. She gossiped to whomever she was in the room with and persisted in interrupting me numerous times in the middle of my sentence.

This place is great for all types of camping from hotel with pool to tent, cabin and motor home with full hook up. Rates very depending on winter and summer. The host is awesome and knowledgeable about the history of the peninsula and you are close to stores and gas station. Okies is half a block down Jacks Country Store is same distance. The Beach is a few blocks away driving 2 min or less, walking 7min or less. Hope this info helps

LOVE this wonderful RV Park, we have been here for almost 3 weeks and want to stay forever.. Where to begin - Owners are very friendly and make you feel right at home, they are so helpful. Park sets in a forest like setting with plenty of room in between travel trailers so you rarely hear other campers or kids. The park is very peaceful with lots of tall pines and lush greenery, the ocean shore is only a 10 minute walk away, 2 grocery stores just 3 blocks away ( yes, prices are slightly higher as in most resort towns as the other reviewer stated. I brought our own condiments, etc however there is plenty of fresh and affordable produce and specials are always on for meat. These 2 grocery stores here pretty much have everything you will need. Jacks is 1/2 grocery store and 1/2 historical museum, don't miss, plenty of items to browse from oil lamps to a vast assortment of hardware, etc.. The Thriftway down the road from Jacks has a deli, plenty of baked goods, etc. I did not notice long lines either except on July 4th. I don't go anywhere else on the peninsula as these 2 stores are the most affordable.), restaurants, post office library and public transportation very close too - only .35 cents to Long Beach and .85 cents to Astoria! ( as a side note the locals are very friendly and often greet you as you walk - what a nice change from the busy city!). Nice, hot showers, washers and dryers, fish cleaning area and a nice rec room too. Can't think of a better place for kids as they have plenty of room to ride bikes and a nice play area ( but as I stated you don't really hear them.. Tent camping is in a lovely area where one can build a campfire. The park also hosts a comfy motel, some rooms with kitchens. Rates are very reasonable. They also offer a great deal to keep your RV here all year and you are able to stay for 3 months out of the year - that sure beats any time share!. I think the rate is something like $1450 a year. I can't think of a better get-a-away than this charming, special place. This park deserves 10 star rating if they had it! Don't miss as you won't be disappointed. We tell all our friends and family about this amazing park and will be back again and again. Thank you Curt, Karen, Wanda and Dave!

We liked the Park, it is an older park with some mobile homes, tent camping, wooded areas with hook ups, a motel and a dozen or so spaces for bigger RV's without trees. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Park is located right in town with a short walk (6 blocks) to the beach and stores just around the corner.

Came here for years as a kid, my grandparents had a year round camper there and we spent so many summers in Ocean park. I'd like to come back now as an adult and recapture some of those memoriesNearby activities: Very short wall through town to the beach. Lots of nearby convenient shopping and food.

Nice place to visit. I was there during the off season so the pool seemed a bit neglected but it was a nice area otherwise. Well kept grounds, no trashy places. Overall pleasant.

We have stayed in the rv park for several years. We can walk the few blocks to town, to the beach and enjoy this peaceful place. The owners are like family and helpful whenever needed. Can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be when rving.

Our choice motel in Ocean Park. One can walk to everywhere from there. Though motel is an older one it is clean and comfortable. Only downside is the Wifi is super weak if that is important to you.

I love this place. Quiet. No frills. No convenience store, but a grocery store half a block away. Has a laundry and showers. If you really want to unplug, this is the place to do so!

A place to park your rv on grass, gravel lanes are pot holed and muddy. Play area for kids. OK WiFi service. Hookups dated but functional. Friendly, accommodating owners.
