Jack's Country Store is as unique as the Long Beach Peninsula is!I had the pleasure of interacting directly with Jack back in the mid 90's. He was a real pleasure to deal with. Tall, with a loud and deep voice, he always had something humorous to say.So, Jack's is ubiquitous on the peninsula, a staple of Ocean Park. Somehow or another, they manage to cram everything a person would need, and most of what a person would want, into this store. And if they don't have it, rest assured, they can get it quickly and for a reasonable price.The grocery side of the store is quite decent and has a pretty amazing selection of the everyday stuff, as well as quite a bit of the out of the ordinary delectable stuff you might find at an upscale.grocer in the big city. The produce is very good, incredibly fresh and of the highest quality, reasonably priced.The hardware side has way more than you would think and the staff are there to help you find anything you may need.But one of my favorite sections is the north west aisle in the store. Kitchen stuff. They have the most amazing variety of kitchen gear you could imagine. They also have what looks to be the complete line of Lodge brand cast iron. It's an amazing place and you know, on the tourist level, I recommend stopping in and taking a look. Jack's personifies the typical general store of yester-year, a time long past that just makes a person reminisce, even if they have no memories of the past times. It's a carryover from the time when service was paramount, and was worth as much as the product itself.Jack's Country Store. Definitely a must see, even if you don't have the need to shop!

This is an awesome Place! Great variety of most items. Meat and produce department were well-stocked oh, many different kinds of dog and cat food Etc. You can buy pretty much anything here from paint to ring gear to Hardware two gifts. Even if you don't need much drop in just to walk around. It has a great old-fashioned environment, the store is large with just about anything you would need.

I seldom give a 5 star review. I mean 5 stars is perfect! Who's ever perfect? However Jack's country store deserves the highest rating! This is an amazing place! I like stopping at "General" stores when I'm out on the road. Most times they are little more than a mini mart.Jack's is truly unique. Combination sports, hardware, tools, kitchen, garden, grocery and liquor store! Add wooden floors, sliding ladders and 40' of Lodge Cast Iron and you have an experience just going in! I spent an hour here and didn't buy a thing! (Sorry! Next time!)If Jack's doesn't have it, you either don't need it or there's another way to do it!If your in the Long Beach, Wa area go on up to Ocean Beach and check it out. You won't be sorry.

Wonderful selection, friendly staff, delicious we make u bake pizzas with lots of toppings (you can call ahead and request your own toppings!), excellent hardware selection. Lots of local produce at great prices! Get your discover, and clamming passes here. Books, toys, kitchen gadgets.

This is a fixture in Ocean Park. They understand what their customers need on the peninsula, from calcium chloride crystals, wood stove parts, roofing repair good to clam guns. Visit for a view of beach life.Also if you need to pack your garbage out after a long weekend, they accept household garbage for a fee so you don't need to carry it home.

A local store that has just about everything you could need before heading to the beach or mountains...or just that drive home. We stopped to just check it out and found a few things. Lots of locals shop here, and buy their groceries. You will find books, hardware, housegoods, and small items.

We had trouble with the billing process, but the customer service staff were great and got our item by FedEx in two days. 3 thumbs up! See photo below of the 55 year old Aladdin style lamp that we replaced the shade on. It looks great even though I preferred another shade the price was right on the one we got. $49.95 directly from Jack's versus $113.22 shipped by Jack's through Walmart.com. The shades were quite different, but I am extremely pleased.

I thought this was only a grocery store, but discovered it was much more: sporting goods, hardware, appliances, magazines, toys, bike supplies. You name it, Jack's got it and besides food prices being a little higher out here on the peninsula, general goods were very reasonably priced.I was exceptionally impressed with their world class selection of nuts, bolts and fasteners which I needed. This is a better choice than I have at a Home Depot in Boise!

We love this place! Always visit when we’re here from Arkansas. This was our first time visiting with our pup and were surprised she wasn’t welcome (most hardware stores welcome pups) but they do carry food so we understood.

At first, I was not sure about this place but once I walked around and looked at everything, I realize the store is kind of amazing because they have basically everything you could need in this town all under one roof. I just have to make a note that they have really good coffee at their coffee bar which is probably what got them from a 4 to 5 star with me to be honest and also the employees are really nice. If you're in Ocean Park then come, check out the store I think you'll find it interesting quirky fun and get what you need here.

Who needs Home Depot when you have Jacks! Find anything you need at this classic general merchandise store. With a good ole days feel, as I wandered the aisles not less than three employees asked to provide me with full site customer service. Friendly staff and amazing assortment of anything you need. When the towns power is out, Jacks keeps running under generator power.

I was at your store this last weekend. I bought some steamer clams and some oysters in the jar There was 5 huge oysters in that jar. Then a bag of oysters in the shell. They were very reasonable priced. They were washed spotless and the best I have ever eaten. They tasted like fresh catched. I would highly recommend buying there seafood again as it was fresh and delicious in Thank you very much.

How can you not love Jacks? Yea maybe some of their items are pricey but that’s to be expected from a small town store. Cheap meat and produce and lots homemade goodies too! Plus many of their items are unique and hard to find anywhere else.

Rude employee? I went in to buy some hardware @ Jacks Country Store in Ocean Park WA. I needed to ask where would i find the items that I needed to purchase in the store. I noticed some customer service people hanging out by the desk in the hardware department. Thought I would ask one of them. Store representative Robert was the closest. As I started to ask the where i would find the items I needed. He ( the employee Robert) turned around and stated that I was in the store the day before. Employee then stated that I had the same shirt on as yesterday and that I must have slept in it. Then the store representativeturned around and walked off laughing.

LOVE THIS STORE!!!! Everyone was so nice & very helpful. 5 minutes in the store & it felt like home. They literally have everything you could ever imagine. Highly recommended stopping here whenever you are in the area. A side note: a bad review is not always worth trusting. I can't imagine any employee being "ugly" especially one with disabilities. There's something more to this story.... I watched an employee pump a disabled person gas, help people out & go above and beyond, and I've only been there 3 times while on vacation. "Take it with a Grain of salt" I suppose?

As well their Meat Dept is #1 in flavor and the cuts are perfect.Also, be sure you make the time to browse as they have many fun and unique items throughout the store..

One of the best places at the beach to shop. Just make time as they have lots of different fun items to look at and buy.. Also Jacks has the best beef in town, great burger and steaks.. Plus lots of organics in the produce area. The fruit and veggies actually have flavor.. And the employees are nice and always there to help...

Jack's is exactly what it says; a country store :) Be sure to visit to this quaint little place for quick essential groceries and supplies if you are staying in Long Beach :) Well stocked with the basics + some, as well as a hardware section that is very handy, and reasonable prices as well. The staff was friendly. A bit of problems with distancing (because it's a little ole' country store with narrow isles, which makes the difficulty understandable). However, everyone was wearing masks and trying to distance as much as possible. They do have plastic protector windows set up at the registers so, they are trying their best during these tough times.

I am just writing this because I saw the bad review below about bad service at Jacks. I visit Jacks on a regular basis for both hardware and groceries. Seriously, I have never been anyplace that offers the outstanding level of service that Jacks offers. The employees are always polite and go out of their way to help you. It is unbelievably fantastic service.
