Huge shout out to Crossett's. Saturday, the 14th of May, 2022, our Road Captain led a ride, rain or shine to Spokane Valley. Well, it rained. We had to make a pit stop in Oaksdale and Crossett's was the only place open. They were friendly and warm. When asked if we could use the restroom, the reply was: "Of course, make yourself at home!" We weren't going to do that but the friendly attitude made us feel welcome. We shook off the rain, used the facilities, bought some snacks, got our bearings and headed out feeling much better.I don't get to Oaksdale very often but hopefully, next time we'll do so in better weather. Trust me, we will stop in and honor them with our business.

Some of my earliest memories are of Jack Crossetts grocery store. His son Mike owns the store now. I was raised at bottom of Steptoe Butte so that is about the only grocery store we shopped at while I was growing up. For a small town grocery store it is amazing that he has almost anything a family could possibly need in the way of food stuffs. He even has a well stocked home stuff section. All this and his prices are on par with the big box stores. I highly recommend Crossetts Grocery Store.If you are travelling through you can stop in for a snack and head next door to the well exhibited McCoy Museum.

Best family owned grocery in Whitman County. I have shopped here for 50 years. Multi generation family establishment. They help you load your groceries. Oakesdale is a wonderful place for tourists because it is near Steptoe By The Historical Viewpoint and in your way to Palouse Falls.
