A good spot for picking up supplies for the next couple of days, this is a decent Safeway with a nice deli. I found the store to be tidy and reasonably stocked this afternoon with no problem finding drinks, cheese and such so that I have what I need.The men's room was in good shape and my self-checkout worked just fine. I'm not a member of their customer pricing club but if you try Jesse's number with some distant area code, it worked for me.

6:27pm on a Monday and I was told the Deli is closed. I could buy food from the hot case but they wouldn't slice me any deli meats. Just a heads up for anyone that does shopping in the evening.

The check out lady at 11:22 pm did not understand what I was trying to say. I forgot to use my Safeway card to get the buy 2 get free packs of pop. I asked if she might be able to refund me for the 2 half racks of pop. She looked at my receipt and said do you have penny? Then I cam give you back $2. I said no mam it's buy 2 cases of pop get 2 free. She said no. the $1,99 is what you get back.

Worst fresh food services. Waited and waiyed, no one approach. Finally an employee saw me yet immediately turn around to serve another lady who cut the line. Horrible experiences. Never stop by again for Fresh food section. The manager of the store need to fired.Also no napkins at all in this section.

Used their FedEx on site service to have a package delivered. Posted hours are 9am to 8pm. Showed up at 5pm to pick up my package, and was told customer service closes at 4pm. Pointed out the posted business hours and employee said there was nothing they could do. All they needed to do was hand me a package. This was rushed parts for my small side business, and this error cost me hundreds of dollars! Not to mention losing a customer and damaging my small business reputation.This store has gone extremely downhill the past few years, departments are always closed early, employees are rude and unhelpful, no checkout lanes ever open with extremely long self checkout lines. Will not be shopping here anymore. Looks like Amazon gets my future business. So disappointed this is my local store. Also waited on hold for 15 minutes for the customer service line before giving up. Their comment/complaints form online doesn't work, this tells me they could care less about their customers!

I am so sick of the service at the deli!! I usually go to get chicken on Monday, half the time they don't have it or somebody didn't cook it. Today I went, the gal at the counter looked at me, then walked right past me with a cart. She came back about 5 minutes later, I asked about fried chicken, she told me they didn't have any, and as I was talking to her she walked away to help another customer. And then she came back and I was trying to tell her what I wanted and the walked away to the front of the store!! I am tired of being treated like this when I come to order food!! She was very rude, walked away from me three times!! I just walked out!!!!! I guess I will try the chicken place that just opened a few doors down.

Not sure if the lady running the self checkout last night was negligent, racist, or just plain judgmental, but I got accused of stealing after literally just paying for my items & walking right past here with my receipt in hand.It was just after 9pm, walked in the left sliding door to go in & shop. Grabbed everything, went through self checkout, then waited next to the same sliding door for my partner to finish using the restroom. Apparently they block off that door after a certain time in the evening, so we ended up walking towards the door at the other end of the store to leave, & as we walked past self checkout, the lady there (who I had just bought my items in front of & walked past 5 minutes before) accused me of stealing & asked me for my receipt, which register I bought from, yelled across the store to another employee to ask if they had helped me check out, etc.We had just finished a 22-mile backpacking trip & were pretty tired, & I really didn't appreciate the hassle. It's totally fine if you're not paying attention to who goes through your checkout station, but not so much if you're only paying attention half the time & accuse the people who walked past you of stealing while you weren't watching & then waste their time hassling them when you can either pay attention to what's actually happening or just check the security footage.Super unpleasant experience when I'm chilled out for the night & just want to grab some things from the store real quick.

The lines are horrific with always only 1 checker and my receipt is Always wrong from being over charged. They are good at refunding your money, IF you can get someone to customer service. No self-check out so you can be sure to get behind a couple of full carts, when you only have a couple items. Right off of I-90 and it's either the last stop before heading East or going West, over Snoqualmie Pass. The whole town of North Bend and Snoqualmie shop here (we only have 2 grocery stores in North Bend.) THEY make lots of money! So obviously management does not care about the customers or they'd at least have more checkers available. Kuddos to the city officals for letting Safeway plant themselves in our once small town and making them take care of the residents as part of a contract. TIP: if you are in a hurry and don't care about paying a little more than go to QFC. They are over the top with customer service, a little more expensive, unless it's on sale, but have self check out and have a couple checkers waiting to help. ** UPDATE 12/2018 ** Safeway has changed alot!! They put in self checkout stations. Love 'em..the manager's are extremely pleasing and if you have an issue they will do what they can to take care of you. They have taken over and beyond customer service the last couple times I've been there. I've changed my mind 99% from hating Safeway to really enjoying shopping there.

Was there today (about 4pm) and about half the customers are not wearing masks. Manager watched as unmasked people used the self check out. Violating the law and not protecting their employees and customers. (Manager was standing next to me while I took picture). This is the second Safeway in the area where this is the case. I will not be shopping at Safeway anymore.

Was there this evening. They had NO checkers. Self checkout only! Long lines. The store and the parking lot usually look filthy. The people that work there frequently speak poorly about how they’re treated.

Always come here first. Usually have what I want/need. But if you are looking for a cashier or assisted checkout, you may be out of luck. Very few cashier stands are actually populatedOn the other hand, if you are ok with self checkout and bagging our own....no problem. Clean and friendly.

Stopped to get a coffee at Starbucks and grab some snacks ended up leaving without either. Waited nearly 10 minutes(I was the only one in line) while the guy working chatted with a girl he had just made a drink for. When the girl left he came over and told me it would be 5-10 minutes before he could take my order because he had to take the trash out. I said ok and went to wash my hands. When I came back there was a line of people and the trash was still sitting there. I walked by and said "Really?!" The guy looked at me and said "Oh, they bribed me" After driving for 3 hours with 4 more to go on my trip I was not amused. The PIC (person in charge at the moment) approached me wearing a mask, when I told him I need to read your lips he took a giant step backwards and took his mask off. This was very offensive. So now, I couldn't see his lips clearly because he was 8 feet away. North Bend Safeway this was the final straw. This store is run down, we have had trouble with creepers in the restrooms, long lines, etc. It just isn't the pleasant experience it used to be This will no longer be a stop on my route.

This is a review for Customer Service, not for the entire store. I called a while ago, wanting to ask a question which may be answered within a minute or two but I was put on hold. Okay, I will wait. But when you hear that the person did not came back to pick up and keep processing one person to the next (3 persons were attended to in the 17 minutes 16 seconds I was on hold), the patient and understanding person in me died. I would just imagine being short-staffed but I would appreciate it if customer service will alternate serving walk-in and attending to phone calls. My only question is that we know they take FedEx package dropoff. Would they take a FedEx package return as big as a landmover in a box? If not, my husband will drive to Issaquah to bring the package instead.

If your sandwich bar is closed because you are short staff…..put up a sign. Maybe it can read….CLOSED. Don’t make customers wait around 5 minutes then come up and say your closed. It would be nice if the deli manager had some common sense about other people’s time. I guess I’ll drive down the road to Jersey Mikes and get a better sandwich.

Its the Worse place to work at!! My son has been a minor there and has had a Horrible experience with no respect by management, minimum wage, miscommunication and promises not kept. Issaquah is 15min away and he's Loving the experience there 100% better than the local.Stay far away specially Minors. So Sad!!!

Clean, well organized, lots of good healthy items to choose from and not overly crowded on a midweek day. Prices are a little high so it pays to get a Safeway membership and shop the discounts!

Signature cafe staff was very helpful to save me a couple dollars on my chicken order. They even told me how to get a liter of drinking water for free. I found out I could pay for my fried chicken at the Starbucks counter to avoid the lines at the checkout counters. Very quick, inexpensive, and delicious meal.

Never have a bad experience here. The staff are always friendly. Today I saw a very heart warming interaction with a young man named Ben who was such a patient and caring checker at the express line with an elderly woman. Even asked her if she was doing ok. Reloaded her cart with her bagged groceries. What a gentle soul. Good job Ben!!!

Good selection of items as usual, each aisle is clearly signed so I know where items are just by scanning the signs quickly, and there's a fresh seafood counter as well as a fresh bakery. Self-checkout is available here and makes the process faster too. I came here to get my covid vaccine, and the process was quick and painless. Got a 10% off coupon for future purchases!
