Every time I go to pick up a prescription all the workers inside the pharmacy completely ignore me. I have to wait more then 10 minutes when no one is line but myself to even be acknowledged by any of them. 4-5 staff members on shift. All walking by not even having the decency to say “hello or that I’ll be with you in a moment”. Just acting as if the customers are invisible. Completely unprofessional. I will take my business elsewhere. This is why people don’t support certain local stores.

Yes, our Bartell went through a huge change and it was hard on everyone - workers and customers. Shoot, I almost switched to Safeway! However I was NEVER treated unprofessionally or unkind. Yes, I had to wait at times, yes sometimes it wasn’t filled on time but they aren’t just standing around they always are working like busy bees back there. I think if you put yourself on their spot and try to imagine what it takes to run that place. Or at least be kind. AND one is always free to switch pharmacies also ;)

Based on the other reviews I’ve read and my own personal experience my advice is simple: never use the drive-through. They simply ignore you for at least 10 or so minutes even though nothing else is going on inside. After 15 minutes of being second in line, I turned my car around and went inside and was helped immediately.

The girl helping me at the drive-thru was very rude. I came through the drive-thru 2 hours after my prescription had been sent in and they told me to wait another 25 minutes and when I asked why it wasn't ready she told me I don't know what to tell you. We're short staffed.. I saw three people inside working just in the pharmacy.. My kid has strep and you're telling me to drive around for another 30 minutes and wait when you could have filled the prescription a long time ago.... How hard is it to put a few pills in a bottle and hand it to me... This girl had glasses and dark brown hair

Excellent store with courteous staff and great variety of medicines, cosmetics, snacks, and other corner store needs. This is my favorite place to drop in and stock up when I visit my Grandparents in North Bend. Their selection of beauty and naturally derived products is quite impressive and routinely well stocked, from my experience. I admire their consistency and I can always find what I need in a single stop. I'm by no means a full time resident of North Bend, but I've dropped in a couple times a year since the store was built in the early 2010s and never had any issue. It's a well maintained and easily accessible drugstore and I'm always happy to give this Bartell's my business. Kudos to management for providing such a great hometown pharmacy and service.

The pharmacy is the worst! I waited for at least ten minutes to drop off a prescription. I wasn’t acknowledged by a single employee despite them knowing I was standing there. I had to finally say something in order for them to assist me. I would not suggest going to this pharmacy.

Second time today in drive through. 10+ minutes at window before acknowledged. First time not ready. second time ignored and not acknowleged even though 3 different employees looked over and saw me at window. A simple "we will be right with you" would have been so much better.

Worst experience (with pharmacy)every time. They Literally don't care if you're a customer or not, and make sure you feel like a burden. Don't bother calling in ahead bc they won't even start the prescription until you're in the store, and tell you to come back. Everyone I know in North Bend who has gone through the same experience has moved to QFC down the road. WAY BETTER!!!

The pharmacy is dreadful. They send texts saying prescriptions are ready but when you go to pick them up they are not. My daughter got two texts so yesterday I went to pick up and was told they had to order it. I asked when I should come back and was told after 4pm today. So I went in at 4:30 and was told "we have to order it" I said you texted last week saying you had ordered it, then texted to say it was ready then yesterday told me it would be here. I made her go look and it was on the shelf... clearly their computer system does not work and the staff are clueless. This isn't the first time we had this issue. I switched to QFC pharmacy and will make my daughter do that too because I'm done with Bartells.

I'm done with Bartell's. I primarily used them for prescriptions but literally every time I need a prescription it's a terrible experience.My last straw was when I had a prescription sent over a few days ago. I called the pharmacy multiple times but no one ever answered the phone. Finally when I went there in person, I discovered that the medicine I needed was on backorder with no ETA. I didn't receive so much as text to let me know this days after the prescription was submitted. Additionally the past few times I've gotten prescription refills done there, they never did anything until after I went to the store, then told me they could have the script filled in a couple of hours. This was days or nearly a week after I requested a refill! As usual no one answered my phone calls.I finally switched to another local pharmacy down the street and the experience has been night and day different. They have my prescriptions filled a couple of hours after it's in, without me having to tell them to do it. They answer their phones and actively work to sort out problems without me having to get involved. If you are still using Bartell's Pharmacy I suggest you look elsewhere and discover what you have been missing all this time.

BartellsDo not use this pharmacy if you need to pick up prescriptions. The needed medication was called in a little after 9:00AM right when they open. They never answered the phone when I checked to see if it was ready. Went to the pharmacy at 1:00 and it wasn’t ready. Went back at 5:00 and they said it still wasn’t ready but come back at 8:00. Came back at 8:00 and they had not done anything including checking the voicemail all day and barely filled the script at 9:00PM when they closed. If you want nice people, go to any store in North Bend. North Bend is awesome. If you need a medication have your doctor call it into the lovely coffee shop around the corner because in both situations you will not get what you need but at least they answer the phone to tell you.

THE worst service I've ever had in my life. 45 minutes 23 calls. was transferred to the pharmacy about 15 times, including 6 times by the manager. No one even picked up the phone once. No one responded to my requests to go to the pharmacy. Even the manager simply ignores my calls, simply transfers the calls and does not care that no one answers. Even I am from North Bend, this was the last time I am shopping there. I will transfer my prescriptions to different pharmacy!

I don't even need a reason to go to this Bartell Drug store. I've wandered in when I was having a bad day day for no other reason than because the staff at this location are incredibly friendly, helpful, and personable. I always left with a smile on my face, and a much better outlook. Every staff member I've met there after outstanding employees, who truly care about their customers. (Kevin, one of the managers, is the epitome of professionalism and kindness; a rarity to find anywhere today.) The store is well organized, and boasts an impressive brand selection, from value-based products to higher-end items. One of my favorite things about this store is they always have extremely good deals in their clearance section. You don't want to pass that by. (Cosmetics in clearance baskets that sell for as little as $1? I'm all in!) Highly recommend the Bartell Drug Store.

I had some medications to pick up prior to surgery that were sent to Bartells by the nurse at 1 pm. I called once that evening and twice the next morning but no one ever answered the phone. I left a voicemail just double checking they were ready, but no one got back to me. When I showed up the next day at 11 am to pick them up, they were not ready and were not going to be ready for at least another hour. That’s almost 24 hours since the nurse called them in. I don’t live in town and usually go to CVS and they have prescriptions ready within 2-3 hours. I will definitely not be using the Bartells pharmacy again. I would like to note that the staff was very friendly and just seemed very understaffed. The understaffing issue has been an ongoing problem when I have gotten prescriptions from them in the past.

I was so happy when we got a pharmacy in North Bend a few years back. It’s just what you would expect from a Bartell Drugs only the staff is friendlier and more helpful.Filling prescriptions was (temporarily) a bit slow and weird when they were purchased - they changed software etc and things like that always cause unexpected problems - but everything is back to normal now.

Left Snoqualmie Bartell bc it was HORRIBLE. North Bend is now equal to them. Was just in there as the only person in line and watched them actively so anything but answer the phone that rang, roughly, 200 times. It takes weeks (3 weeks for my last one and they asked if I still want it) to get some prescriptions filled. I don't WANT any of my prescriptions. I NEED them and sometimes I can't get up to leave the house due to health conditions so it really upsets me when they don't answer the phone.

I was just in your store 11/20 and just needed one item. While getting the item I saw a couple other things I hasn't planned to get but store looks so amazing (clean and organized). While looking and picking up a couple thing your employee (Kevin) brought me a basket. I was really grateful plus I asked for couple other items and he took me right to them and also suggested I look at an additional item and option. He was great!!! Very impressive, kind, helpful and friendly. People don’t take the time anymore to spread some happiness along the way. He made my day and I will make this store in North Bend my go to place! I am so grateful for the staff at NB Bartells. Emi, the Pharmacist, went above and beyond to get me much-needed seizure medicine for my daughter. Her prescription had been sent to another pharmacy but they could not get it in time for the first dose. Emi then took the next steps with communicating with them and checking with her own supply if she had the drug. She did and quickly batched it up once she had the prescription passed along to her. I can't tell you how hard it is to get customer service or to communicate with an actual human being these days. Most people are agitated and distressed it seems (can't blame them, so much short-staffing) but Emi kindly came through. We are so lucky to have her in North Bend.

Okay.. Below is the 4 star rating from 5 years ago. TODAY? ZERO STARS! No sign or communication ANYWHERE that the pharmacy is closed for lunch from 1-2PM on Saturday. Nice, since I now have to sit around for 50 minutes!!! Idont know about the other days. And Hello! The pandemic is over! No excuse!It's a little more expensive than Rite-aid, Wal-Mart or Walgreens but they have such a variety of everything, a person could be in there for a very long time. The air conditioned store in the summer is awesome. I love that they have so Many products from local companies! And they have Minions!!

Love the pharmacy here. I was having issues with QFC and their general unfriendliness and resistance to helping me get my prescription. Qfc denied my prescriptions twice, i had them fixed by my doctor twice and they still refused to fill it.I switched to the bartells pharmacy two days ago and with no questions asked, they were able to fill my prescriptions to my doctors orders. Night and day difference between these two places.I watched as the pharmacist was verbally crucified by an unhappy lady and i felt really bad for him. The pharmacist doesnt speak perfect english but he is friendly and extremely helpful. Through the barrage of words thrown at him, he got a little heated in response (hes human and the pharmacy is understaffed, give him a break) but he still tried to give his unhappy customer the information she needed. If you have issues with a small language barrier, maybe look somewhere else instead of treating him poorly. Thats my 2 cents at least :)

The pharmacy staff moves like zombies. One tech stared off into space for 15 minutes while a line of six people stood there....they don't answer phones, don't full prescriptions in a timely manner and the hours listed for the pharmacy are not the hours it is open.

Ever since Bartells got bought by Rite Aid, this pharmacy has gone so downhill. They have answered the phone 1 out of about 10 times I’ve tried to call. They’re always short staffed. This is why family owned businesses should be protected. BRING BACK THE PRIORITY ON CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I feel also a bit pricey! But their amazing return policy makes up for it. You can return used beauty products! No were else on the planet, can you do that. Mostly, friendly employees. I sneak in just before close, when there not, busy.

Worst service. multiple visits... Pharmacist won't acknowledge you're there and makes sure you feel you're not important. No empathy. Couldn't care less about my situation or helping. I gave up going here and avoid this pharmacy now at all costs. Can no longer support such pathetic effort.
