It was a nice and affordable place to stay. Nancy was great and everyone should check out her nature museum in the office. The rooms were clean and neat. The rooms have a full size coffee pot and microwave. Just ask for a room that faces nature. Very pleasant and I would definitely stay again 😊Nearby activities: Neah Bay is a beautiful and scenic location with beaches, hiking and charter fishing. Make sure to get a recreational pass.

Nancy at Butler's Motel is the sweetest lady ever! We got into town late on a Friday night and all the little restaurants in town were closed, so she came by our room a while after we had checked in to bring us some fresh caught halibut and homemade apple pie because she knew we hadn't eaten. She also stopped by the next night to make sure we got back from our hike safely. The room we had was small but clean and cozy with all the amenities needed. There was also a great deck out front overlooking a wetland that was alive with the Spring sounds. It was the perfect spot to sit and enjoy our morning coffee while watching the birds that she feeds regularly. I just can't say enough about this great little family owned motel. I'll never stay anywhere else when visiting Neah Bay!

Excellent service and offerings for a reasonable price! The location is great, right in Neah Bay and 15 minutes from hiking and beach trails. If you are going to hike, and you totally should, make sure you pick up a tribal recreation permit (only $10 and good for the calendar year). The room was well stocked with all the normally amenities, microwave, coffee maker, minifridge. I would have given 5 stars, but the mattresses were hard and pillows were lumpy and flat, which meant we didn't sleep great. I would still come again for sure, I'd just bring my own pillow next time. I had a couple small safety issues (it's what I do for a living). The double bed was too close to the wall heater and the comforter would get really hot. We just pushed the foot of the double bed into the twin bed so it was at an angle and far enough away from the heater. The other thing was the mirror strips covering the wall next to the twin bed. The mirrors make the room look bigger, but in any kind of earthquake they should break and then they'd fall all over the twin bed. Maybe another poster or mural instead?

My son and I loved our one-night stay at Butler's Motel. We did not make a reservation, since it was off-season, so we were lucky they had one room left. The room was small, but very clean, comfortable, and affordable. We especially enjoyed waking up to the sound of red-wing black birds in the morning and the many other birds at the feeders off the back porch, which we could view from our room. We will definitely go back, but will be sure to make a reservation next time!

Just got back from staying two nights at Butler's Motel. While the rooms are small, ours was spotless and clean. Good value for the money. Nancy is a wonderful host and full of local knowledge which she freely shares. We will definitely stay there when we return.

A gem. Nancy is terrific, our room was spotless, with many nice touches. She showed us the museum and we learned about the abundant wildlife. It's quiet, the wireless speed is fine (11 Mbps) there's good heat and a hot shower. Our room had a microwave and a refrigerator. We walked to the store, bought groceries and ate in our room.We didn't need bottled water, the tap water was fine. Neah Bay is a small, dry town in a beautiful, mystical part of the USA. It's the antithesis of Disney World, a reminder of what we sacrificed for "progress". We visited the sea lions at the marina every morning, the birds watched over us, the scenery was majestic...we shall return.

The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Nancy Butler was very nice and extremely accomodating. We did not know what time we would arrive, so she left a key under the welcome mat for us. For the price, this is an excellent deal. I hope Butler's motel remains in Neah Bay for many years to come.

Nancy was a wonderful host, when we arrived she showed us two rooms and let us choose which of the two we wanted. They are small, but perfect for our needs. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be returning next we are on the Peninsula

Super cute, very cozy, clean and extremely welcoming :)My buddy and I are exploring the peninsula and needed a place to stay. When we called Butler's the sweetiest women in the world answered and without hesitation wanted to make us feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. As we're still 2 hours away, she offered to meet us upon arrival. While checking in we learned all the history and education about animals, hiking and sight seeing which was very helpful, don't miss the beautiful nature museum in the office 🤓. It was nearing 8pm which meant all restaurants we're closed, we're out of luck to find food, however, like an angel, she brought us warm fish to our door 😋. It was so amazing, what a giving 💓.Our room was bear themed which was nothing short of perfect, just steps from the door we noticed a few racoons eating some food our host had placed out, such an awesome experience, they're adorable.Highly recommend, you'll never find anything like it, not to mention it's the best deal in town for $65 a night (it was Thursday), the host is the sweetest lady ever, bring a smile and you'll leave feeling loved with great memories of this spectacular place 🤗 🤩 🦉🐻 🌿 🐿️ 🦊

We stayed in the cabin, loved it and Nancy. She was absotely a doll to work with, super friendly. The cabin fit us 2 parents and 2 kids nicely. We got the back room with a queen bed and our own tv. The kids got the futon and their own tv. Comes with full bath and kitchen, definitely staying here again.

Great place to stay with dogs. You can hear the sea lions bark during the day and see eagles soaring above. Near shore with great side streets to walk your dogs. Nancy is VERY nice and accommodated our late arrival with a smile. Will stay there again.

I don't usually put in the effort to leave reveiws but this place is too awesome. I showed up late in town and the owners came in after hours to help me get a room. The rooms have a nice front porch with chairs, as well as a beautiful nature museum next door with local wildlife and pictures on display. I will for sure be coming back next time I'm in town.

Nice well organized, well maintained small rooms. A nightly raccoons fest adds to the experience.
