Let me start by saying that the team at Mukilteo really care. James always is so kind and genuine. He's always helpful and attentive. Today he went above and beyond for me and my poor queen who had a c section and 2 out of 5 survived.... sigh on top of that my card had expired with out my knowledge at the vet earlier today...so I checked my mail and behold it was there....well it said that I could just use it in the paper from becu...well I went to use it and it had to be activated :< and I was at closing time ..left my dumb phone and just having a heart break ..and James, bless this man helped me. I'll never forget that act of kindness because regardless of the company it's still a choise at the end of the day. Your choise was love. I'll be back tomorrow and I will pay for the comp of can food that he comped me to have some wet baby cat good for my recovering himalayan queen. I'll never forget either. ❤️

I love this place so much, the reason for 3 stars is they apparently let dogs they know to be aggressive in the store. If you come here don't bring your animals or children inside unless you check first.

The staff was all very friendly and professional. Johnny in particular helped me pick out the right drinking fountain for my Savannah cat and gave great service, but all of the staff was great. My cat absolutely loves his fountain, top of the notch food, and toys. And everything I bought was very reasonably priced. I recommend this store for anyone that cares about their furry family member.

My Zoe loves going to Mud Bay and so do I . They have a huge variety of products, but she especially loves the lamb lung treats! I take her to Mud Bay every couple of weeks to shop.Aside from the enjoyment it brings Zoe, I like that the staff is so friendly and helpful in answering any questions or concerns.

Came in to search for an indestructible squeaky toy for my 8.5lb chewer and they hooked me up with an option that fit the bill and didn’t break the bank. Loved that we were greeted and helped right when we walked in and offered treats and a first time visitor thank you card at checkout. We will be back!

Amazing customer service! We ran out of cat food just as we were supposed to board a flight overseas (military move). We didn’t need a big bag of food, so we asked for the smallest size bag. They listened to our issue and ended up giving us cat food samples, which worked out perfectly for our situation. I was immensely touched by that gesture. Thank you!

One of our favorite places to take our little guy! The staff are super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They have a variety of high quality and natural treats and chews that our puppy adores! They also always have his favorite goat milk, squash topper and bone broth in stock. The store is always clean and hardly a wait upon check out.

If, we have a place like this in Cali. I haven't stumbled across it yet. We were visiting family in the area and walked into the store to see if they offered (extra) large breed dog supplies. There was a young man working that night who is also a Cali native. Although, I can't remember his name he was beyond helpful, nice, attentive, informative, courteous, funny and down to earth. He made the experience worthwhile. Thank you!

Top notch experience with Johnny S. at this location. I was omw back from the vet and had to stop in to get some specialized food for my cat due to some UI issue he's having. Johnny was helpful, empathetic and informative. Even tried to offer me a lower cost alternative to the food I was looking at. After I decided to go with the more costly option he informed me that I could get 3 cans of the other option as samples to see if they work as well. I've been inside of numerous Mudbays and no one had ever told me this before. Great customer service, great demeanor and helpful. Greatly appreciated after spending hours at the vet. Thank you

Great prices, friendly and helpful staff. The place is always clean. I like that they let you try the food samples before you come back and buy them. I mentioned to the cashier my dog didn't like the last bag I bought and she told me that I could've brought it back for a refund if my dog didn't like the food and they donate the food instead! I love that! Now I know for the future. I highly recommend this place if you love your pets and wanna spoil them. They have great cat and dog food selections but minimal for other pets. They have a lot of specialty foods and freeze dried foods for a very fair price. Some of the items are much cheaper than buying online. They also have a large selection of bulk biscuits with lots of different flavors and sizes that my dogs love. I'm a big big fan of this place and all of its other locations too really.

I absolutely love mud bay! But my experience today was a bit uncomfortable. Maybe a reminder to your employees that they are not veterinarians would do the trick. I explained to one of the girls what my vet had told me to buy for my dogs food, and she suggested something that didn’t quite fit. When I explained exactly what my vet said, she told me that that may not be the issue. I’m sorry, I just think it’s best that I listen to my vet, and that your employees listen to the vets too. Luckily, I know better than to go against my vets advice, however some may just listen to the employee and this could cause a medical issue. My dog is allergic to some protein, the employee tried to tell me that wasn’t his allergy...Now please don’t get me wrong! I love shopping here and I love that you guys carry healthy dog food at reasonable prices and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I also very much love the variety and price on the treats!! That’s the best part!

Being new to the area, I've been trying to find a new go to pet store. This place is it. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. There's a decent selection and the plaza it's located in allows for additional shopping so I'm not going out of my way for 1 place.I really liked that upon entering, one of the staff asked us what we were looking for and advised on some items that might fit our needs for our picky cats. Additionally mentioning the return policy on food that the cats won't eat and also allowing us some samples since ours are picky. I'll definitely be coming back here as my new go to spot.

I have a very very picky cat from food to even toys. She has bad dandruff and a coat that is just not the healthiest right now. I called over phone to see what if mud bay could help guide me to the right direction that would be healthy and my cat getting everything she needs. The gentlemen was amazing on phone and took the time to explain things to me and even put items aside for me . I have a newborn and two year old so bringing them both in the store was just not an option for me and find out when I got there they do curbside pick up. I was able to save the stress and pay over phone and he ran out my items to me. Just beyond the best and easy service especially for a mom just made it 100% less stressful.

This was my first time at the store and I love how they operate their company. Most other stores don't allow me to return dog food which can be a hassle for pet owners because your dog don't always like what you buy. Service return policy alone made the trip worthwhile.On top of that Melissa, one of these associates, was very knowledgeable about the food that Mud Bay sold. She was able to help me find the best food for my dog breed and then also gave me some samples to try other stuff. Keep doing what you doing lady because it's great.I will assess my rating when I go back a second time.Update: 5 months later and I'm still impressed with this place. They hold true to their values of giving the best advice to their clientele, they offer a variety of goods for your pet, and in general people are just nice. Which is why I keep coming back

I love this store- the staff is awesome. Not only are they knowledgeable but they really do care about your fur babies! They're a lot of fun to talk to also. It makes it fun to go in and shop for your pet. Mudbay itself has really good, quality products- so much variety too. I definitely like to shop here and would recommend it to anyone!

Great store. I had just gotten my first kitty and the salesperson there was super informative and helpful. Very nice staff, they know what they're talking about, and I was given several treat samples and coupons for having a new cat! Great experience, will be returning here for sure.

Although it is very far from me, Mud Bay is an excellent place for shopping for your pets! They don't do sales or price gimmicks they price everything well. A large assortment of wet food, dry food, and raw food. Plenty of interesting toys and ways to help you take care of your pets!

I have been going to med bay for the longest time. My normal store was over in Capitol Hill when I worked there for the past few years but I moved out Mukilteo so this has become my home store. This store is fantastic, clean and always stocked ( for what they can get in with shortages in example Tiki Foods ) Recently the staff hasn’t been friendly as they used to be. Today was the quickest Wham! Bam when I came in and I’m so used to having a conversation. Hopefully that changes otherwise fantastic store but it’s always nice to communicate with the people you buy your products for your pup for.

I stopped in with my puppy (Winston) to kill some time while I was in the area and I was very impressed with this pet store! They have a *huge* variety of chewy treats, dry treats, meat treats (beef, chicken, venison, lamb, etc...), and the largest selection of dog food I've seen in recent memory!The pricing on everything is very competitive with even the largest chain stores. They have samples of just about everything they sell, along with some treats that the staff hands out. I asked an employee for help to find an item and she took me right to it and explained the selection.This brings me to the staff. They were incredible! Very nice/friendly and knowledgeable about everything I inquired about. They made recommendations based on Winston's size, age, and breeds. They wer wonderful with him!Winston also met another dog there that was as friendly as he is, so the two got to play with eachother for a bit.I have nothing negative to say about this place, if you need dog food or treats this is a fantastic retail establishment. I highly recommend stopping in, if anything, just so your dog can sniff around and be spoiled by the employees 😊

Very helpful in finding a new snack that our cat now harasses me for whenever I'm by the refrigerator.My experiences with other Mudbays is that the staff genuinely care about their customers animals and try their best to make thoughtful suggestions to increase your pet's quality of life. And this is why we will usually search for a Mudbay rather than going anywhere else. They may not have a lot for specialty or exotic pets, but for your basic cat/dog their products are great.

Literally just walked out the door a minute ago. I have never had an urge to review anything so bad but I had never been greeted by such great customer service at any store! They have such great knowledge of product and nutrition needs for animals and were given many free samples and coupons. If you ever have time to read on the companies history, I highly recommend it. Great company and has great beliefs!

Mud bay has a huge selection of healthy food for a pet. My cat was having some dietary problems and their knowledgeable staff helped transition to different foods for a picky boy. I really appreciate the great customer service!

Always met with a friendly welcome when you (and your pet) walk through the door, this is a great place to go if you truly care about what you feed your fluff baby. The staff here are all very friendly and they’re all very knowledge on appropriate dietary items for your pets. I’ve been bringing my golden retriever here for almost two years and he loves going to see his friends at Mud bay, who always have a great (or three!) ready for him. They’re so nice!!As with any premium, higher end pet supply store, they’re not cheap... but isn’t that the whole point? Forget the nasty kibble from (insert-big-box-store-name-here) and give your pet the very best. Mud Bay can certainly help you get started.

I visit several different locations depending on where my errands take me & they are all very clean & organized. I have only experienced very courteous & knowledgeable staff. Mudbay's return policy is one of the best out there again which is nice due to my picky Pug who thinks he's the cat Garfield. Lol
