Was looking for food while staying at the family cabin and The BLG appeared as the closest location for food. The reviews looked great so we headed over.For what seems like a small shop, it is very quaint and offers many items for sale from your typical gad station snacks like soft drinks and candy, to a full menu of hot food to beer and liquor. We got 2 orders of the chicken strips and fries and 1 order of the mac and cheese bites. 15 minutes later we had fantastic hot food. The mac and cheese bites were great and there had to have been a pound worth of fries and chicken apiece. If you find yourself in the Big Lake area this is sure to satisfy your cravings!

My husband is so happy you added the Reuben sandwich to the menu. He really enjoyed it. I totally enjoyed the wonderful burger that I had. Great beer too! We are always satisfied customers here at the BLG. Nice to have you in the neighborhood. 👍👍👍

Love this place. Have been coming here with my girlfriend to enjoy meals and last minute drinks on tap before they close. Staff are fantastic. friendly and funny. Always have some delicious local drinks on tap. Cider and beer. Hot damn the tater tots are great! Can't wait to revisit the BLG again

Stopped and ate here yesterday- and myself and my teen boys LOVED it! The store is adorable and has all the staple essentials for locals. Beer on tap, 4 booths for lounging, books for reading on the shelves, antique treasures, excellent burgers (and we are connoisseurs...😂) and the service was fantastic!We are lifers now...way to go BLG!

Came because outdoor seating listed but just one picnic table, well shaded.Mainly small deli, beer, convenience store.Staff is nice and helpful enough. Breakfast is only served during limited hours.We got there around 1030am and lunch did not start until noon so we got chicken tenders and jojos with honey mustard for 35 cents extra. The honey mustard is DELICIOUS. Tenders and jojos were good.Had a portapotty for reliefIt was ok family feel business.

Great food, cold beer and plenty of room in the beer garden. This store/pub/restaurant has Friendly's taffeta and everything from soup to propane to outfit the local community. Don't forget the take and bake pizza, some of the best around. A must stop for a "not so out of the way spot".

I have been frequently going back to the BLG for the great food, beer and friendly staff. A quaint little store that provides great service to the big lake area. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Friendly neighborhood one stop shop. Obviously more expensive than bigger stores in town, but the location is convenient if you're on Big Lake and the people are really friendly. Easy go to if you need one or two items and don't want to drive all the way in to town.
